Why Ive never been here before is a sad mystery to me. Absolutely love this place!! Super cool vibe, amazing people, and excellent beer. Instant fan. My dog was more than welcome. He even loves it here. Oh, about their beer... Finally a place that makes unique beers. Plenty of IPAs for that crowd, but for me, five sours on tap was amazing! Cheers!

Delicious and fun beers! Don’t come here expecting something standard. Adventurous tastebuds will appreciate the beer menu here.Sampled (right to left in my pic):Hazy IPA - solid but not a standoutFlanders Red - pucker up for this tasty sourTell No Tales - syrupy and sweet, a tad strong on the maple syrupLiopluradon - yummy stout but the chili does stand outPanna Cotta - sour, fruity, great for summerProps to the bartender, came on a Saturday afternoon and outdoor tables were full. He grabbed an empty table (had been paired with another to seat larger groups but wasn’t being used) relocated it and gave us a spot. Really appreciated this during pandemic. Great service.

Hands down my favorite brewery in town, and mostly out I suppose. They always have a great balance of crowd pleasers and more experimental or esoteric things on tap, all pulled off very solidly. Staff is awesome and firendly, they run the homebrew store next door so everyone is pretty well equipped to nerd out with you over beer related discussion, which is always a plus. Also the vibe is great, not trying to be an in your face hip Colorado brewery, or overly packed and loud like a lot of other places around. Highly recommend.

Welcoming and highly knowledgeable barman. A good variety of styles, and excellent quality. No pretension, a really relaxed vibe. I personally loved the Dark Alley and the Norwegian IPA, the latter has flavour and complexity, with beautiful balance of fruitiness, yeast, acid, and bitterness. Not your usual in your face IPA.

Absolutely love this place. Do not come expecting to drink a bland lager or two....the menu changes frequently and it almost never has anything on it that isnt offbeat. Todays selection was four sour ales or so, and a few dark beers. Fantastic stuff, but not for novices. Vision Quest is like what happens when a few beer geeks get crazy one night and open up a brewery. Also a great spot for vintage pinball.

VisionQuest was by far my favorite brewery during our recent stay in Boulder. This is a nano brewery in the truest sense. The staff were always ready to pour you a sample of their latest brew. While certainly embracing an experimental approach, what we tried was very polished. For a laid back and down to earth brewery experience try VisionQuest.

Vision Quest is one of the only breweries in the area without a list of staple beers which makes every visit an adventure. The crowd is pretty hipster but down to earth. Over the past year they have really done a lot of work to clean up the tasting room and it shows well.Only reason for dropping a star is their prices. $9 for every 16oz pour in the menu today, more than double Sanitas down the street during happy hour.

Cool taproom and decent/solid beers in a strange off the beaten path location but definitely worth the visit. Its a small intimate setting and has a locals hangout feel to it but do not let that deter you - the place has great ambience and is not pretentious at all - you will feel at home here. They have with a separate pinball room that can also accommodate a medium size group to gather. The staff is knowledgable and friendly.

I visited Vision Quest recently and was pleased to find a wide variety of truly intriguing beer styles featuring interesting ingredients. This is no wonder as the brewery shares a space with Boulder Fermentation Supply, which is the premier home brew supply shop along the Front Range.Adam served us up a tasting flight including each of the beers available and talked through the ingredients and makings of each one. I particularly liked the Sour dry hopped with Galaxy hops! What a treat. All of the beers were well made and intriguing. I highly recommend checking them out. Adam and Gregs passion for unique high quality brew cannot be surpassed.

Vision Quest is a hidden gem off of Foothills Parkway in Boulder. Its in the Boulder Fermentation Supply (homebrew) store where the owners have used their intellect and creativity to open up a Brewery in their garage space.Vision Quest beers are all in smaller batches, and are rotating constantly. I have not once had a beer that I didnt fawn over. Originality and authenticity drive their passion for beer and one is not left wanting.Youll find a wide array of beer styles, from their belgian wit Wittle Pwesent to their IPA CHUM & CO which is a braggot IPA with Simcoe hops (the current batch has wildflower honey added) for a more floral and less piney IPA, one is destined to find a beer they enjoy. They have a couple of saisons on tap now as well, the barrel aged being my favorite with a strong compliment from the wood of the barrel while maintaining that funk a good saison should keep. Oh! I would be so remiss not to mention their Plymouth Stuffing beer, an amber style with herbs and spices. This beer tastes like straight up dressing (Im from the South, we dont put bread in our birds) and is a cant miss if its still on tap. You almost feel like chewing the taste is so spot on. The also have a smoked amber lager on right now that is also fantastic. Im not an amber fan in general, but these people do it right. The owners Adam and Greg are incredibly knowledgeable and when its a bit slower are more than happy to discuss all the aspects of their beer with you, and if you home brew have an encyclopedic knowledge of ways to improve your systems and beer.Vision Quest has recently extended their hours and are now open on Mondays and Tuesdays as well. If you love beer this is an absolute must stop while youre in Boulder. For my money, its the best newer brewery in town and is tied with Wild Woods for me as top brewery in Boulder.
