I just recently discovered this park. It has over three miles of trails through a thickly wooded forrest. Ive just begun exploring it and intend to walk each of its many trails! Added bonus... look for the cars!

DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG! There is glass all over the trail. I took my dog on a hike at this park, I think its a great park, but on the way back i started seeing glass all over the trail, it was near the south trailhrad entrance is where i started noticing it all over the place. Luckily nothing happend to my dog

Its a very great place to get lost in the woods and not many people know about it. Probably thats the best part. There are some trials for mountain bike as well. The community has maintained the forest pretty well.

This is an awesome local hike. Theres quite a few large hills to get a good workout. Some of the trails are used for mountain bikes and theres a rope swing in the center somewhere, use at your own risk. Youre never too far from going home so its terrific for little ones. The east trail head had some stones labeling local plants and there are a couple maps of the trails posted to help.

I grew up by the handy Mart and what used to be Marvs Arco Station for those who can remember the days when these woods were absolutely magical! I used to ride my dirt bike all up and down the Ravine hills,I attended Shelton view Elementary, miss Patrick was my first grade teacher there Mr. Smith Mr. Berglund Miss Dolemore and Mr Bud Cudmore and So many other memories at that elementary school, Shelton view elementary is quite similar as when I went there in the mid-70s,I’m glad to see the Woods are still there to be enjoyed by the children and people that wish to respect it, I can recall a day when practically everybody had a dirtbike in the whole area and we would ride dirt bikes all over the city streets throughout the whole area of Queensborough and throughout the Shelton view woods, please enjoy and respect and remember there’s people that have lots of heritage there they want to see this place for generations to come .

Easy quick 1.1 mile loop with few elevation changes to keep it interesting. Kid and dog friendly, a nice starter trail. Trail is unmarked and there are several forks along the way. Use a trail app like AllTrails with GPS assisted trail map if are not the wandering type.

Adding another glowing review of our hidden gem! Trails are increasingly well marked (thanks volunteers!). Don’t miss the old cars, the rope swing, or the resident owls (well, you’ll likely miss those, but stay alert and maybe you’ll be lucky enough to spot one!) Trails are well maintained (though steep!), Forest is peaceful and quiet.

This is a nice entrance to the Shelton View Forest which is just that a forest with trails. A school project added some signage recently which is helpful as they are also expanding the trail network inside the area.

This is a gem of a park. Wonderful trails. I played here once when I was a kid back in the late 70s/early 80s. Lots of up and down trails give me a great workout. Please let City of Bothell know that you want this park preserved for future generations. I used to love to play in woods like this one all over the area when I was a kid. This is one of the few remaining ones.

We love this forest. Its a great place to hike with kids and its surprisingly quiet in the forest. Volunteers have worked hard to improve trails, remove invasive plants and replace them with natives. Many of the native plants are now labeled with bright green rocks with plant names. My 3 and 5 year old loved learning the plant names.
