Great park to come workout and enjoy time outdoors. Walking and biking trails all around the park. You will find tennis and basketball courts and also a kids playground where you can also workout outdoors. Free parking with plenty of picnic tables and bathrooms.

Nice Park overall. The Parking is terrible on nights its busy. I come here to play basketball because the main park i play at is still closed. The good thing here is there a lot of hoops(4 courts 8 hoops) the lame part is most are double rim and have a concrete base. The asphalt is also super rough on shoes or if you fall.The courts are definitely built for durability. If youre an avid hooper they are def not the best but they get the job done.-side note there are full court games that go on but I definitely recommend running half court as the full court games always end up with arguments

Veterans Memorial Park is a good place to visit. You can see the Memorial dedicated to all the armed forces. Therere also several tennis courts, basketball courts, trail for walking, fields for soccer, and more. Youll also see birds, dogs, and cats on your walk or jog through the park. Little playground for the kids but what makes this park nice picnic area which actually have real big tree and shade. There also small unofficial trails in the small wooded area.

This is a neat park. I wish it had a little more playground equipment for toddlers like slides. This is designed and geared towards ages 6 to 99. The park is very clean so I will give great props to that. Kids youth activity center could use some updating on the outside as it looks a little run down compared to the rest of the park.

Great clean Park alot of Basketball courts to use and great games as well in the late afternoons!

I love coming here to chill or just get together with friends! They have seats and barbecue!

Its a great place! All types of athletic amenities: football, basketball, tennis, soccer... Plenty of shaded paths for a walk, jog, or bike ride. There are many opportunities to view some of our native plants and animals in the wooded areas that surround the park.Wow though, they just cut down all of the trees along Palmetto. What were they thinking?

Great park they have slot of basketball and tennis courts my kids really enjoyed the playground there even though its small they always make the most of it the soccer field is maintained and always a blast to play on.

This park is close to my houseI use it frequently for walking. It has tennis courts, basketball courts, a football/soccer field, childrens playground, and a picnic area. The VFW is located on the park grounds. The picnic area has many trees and picnic tables. There is Handicapped access. There are public restrooms in both the athletic area and the picnic area.

Just attended Memorial Day annual event. Dont miss it next year. There is a VFW post on site. Nice soccer field and picnic sites.

Not impressed with the park. There werent any swings. Red ant piles around the park area. Only one slide. However, the basketball area was clean and nice. Grass area was open and good for playing ball and frisbee.

Came here to walk w my dog. Only good for athletics. The picnic side is full of homeless people & feral cats. So ew.

Great place to go for a walk or play sports, I usually go to play basketball because they have several courts, but you can go to play tennis or football. Theres a lot of vegetation so you can walk around even is theres still sun. Overall a great place for the family

Nice Park thats easy to get to. We used the Pond Pavillion and it was perfect. Great for parties without worrying about rain.

Very nicely located on Palmetto road. It has great tennis, basketball courts plus a very big grass field which can be used for soccer or American football or really whatever you want to play.Also it has nice green area and a small size playground for kids.

This place is clean. There are a few activities that you can get into, like basketball, tennis, and a walking/running path. There are picnic tables, grills, and a rest station. I recommend going.

It was a simple park. Bring your own entertainment unless you will play basketball or tennis. Soccer field was closed and not much shade.

They completely changed the play area, they got rid of the sand and old equipment and updated it. No swings for the bigger kids but they now have baby swings.

Very clean and neat, however the Fútbol goals cant be lined up properly, they are put aside and cant be relocated where they should be in the field.

Proud veterans it was a beautiful service many speakers raising and lowering the flag bad all branches of the service representative and even the Boy Scouts were there they served hot dogs in The Pavilion after all the services were done

A great little park with a wonderful memorial for our veterans. Park has a multipurpose field, tennis and basketball courts, a VFW lodge and picnic circle, and four restrooms.
