Great beach that actually DID allow dogs on Fri Sat & Sun 8am to 9 am and 5 pm until dark weekends only. The dogs and people are great. You will need a sticker on your vehicle in order to enter the park. Or you can park right on Spanish River Road ( Metered parking) My furry daughter loves it. Bella let’s go swimming. AFTER THIS COVID VIRUS Boca Raton has decided NO DOGS. After paying over $150 in fees and getting a permit. Again no refund.

I certainly did not feel welcomed here. I will stick to Delray where its more humane. I hope your beach sinks.

It’s a nice beach, however, my 3 month old puppy was attacked (thankfully unharmed) by two large dogs 3 times his size who were untrained and aggressive (according the the owners) not to mention they were not on leashes. For the majority of the time we spent at that beach there were enough dogs off leashes and non vigilant dog parents that it could be extremely dangerous. Unless you have a large dog who can protect himself. I wouldn’t suggest going here for a peaceful beach day.

My happy place! Just the funnest place to bring my dog. 99% of the dogs are completely friendly and the people are pretty nice as well,,,,and it is gorgeous. One reason to live in Boca is the beach and this gets me to the beach every weekend. How great is that? I am always amazed when folks with dogs have not been here. It is the best.

Freedom. The dogs run off leash on this perfect beach. Highlight of my week. Dogs feel free. Love watching while being at a gorgeous beach!

Theres no way to remove the dog stink from this beach. Affordable recreational spaces in Boca are limited. I dont see the need for a dog beach. This beach is ruining spaces destined for humans.

My dog looks forward to meeting his friends every Sunday late afternoon. Parking is $3/hr on street. The Rangers are extremely polite and never had any problems with other dogs! Very peaceful and relaxing place to be. Its by far the best place Id taken my husky !

LEASH YOUR DOGS!!!!! Nice beach!Beautiful beach but a dog without a leash tried to attack me the owner eventually came to bring the dog away. It’s very dangerous for people cause dogs can be vicious. The people that go here are irresponsible and do not leash up their dogs. The city of boca raton should make it a policy that each dog has to be on a leash.

How much better does it get???!!! To be able to allow your 4-legged best friend to frolic, splash, and play in wonderful warm waves and on a vast soft-sanded beach!Either alone or with you by his/her side! Well numbered markers designate the dog beach boundaries. And the many times we went, the Rangers were nothing but friendly, helpful, and professional. If you are in or going to be in that area you have to take your dog here. You won’t be disappointed!

The dogs love it it’s beautiful on the beach located just off Spanish River Boulevard and A1A. Meter parking on Spanish River Boulevard east of the bridge or use the beach parking provided by the city of Boca Raton which is expensive approximately $18. Requires a dog beach pass for the City Of Boca Raton available at City Hall for $32 approximately for city residents and much more for noncity residents

They have never asked me for a permit and I had been here multiple times and had a great time. I only ever had a ranger ask us to leave once it was 9am. However today they decided to put a ranger out that couldnt speak or understand much English telling me between some weak push ups that he was doing that I wasted my money on parking and to leave. I do not recommend coming here to waste time looking for a park in spot out of the 10 provided just to be told to leave

Been here a few times. Lots of friendly dogs. Parking lot and beach staff have been cordial. If you are a Boca resident I recommend buying passes for parking at Spanish River Park and for access to the dog beach, which pay for themselves in about three visits (considering ~$30 for parking and beach access each time without them). You can buy the passes at City Hall, but you have to be a resident of Boca Raton to be eligible to do so.

My fur baby enjoyed running in the thick white sand at Bark Beach! There were designated areas for the fur babies with adequate lifeguards on duty. The water and the scenery of the yachts in the distance were breathtaking!

Nice beach, but Fort Lauderdale dog Beach charges a lot less. Parking is a 1,75 per hr and they have showers when you exit. Across the street there is a beer and wine eatery to sit outside with your dog. 3 to 7pm Fri at lifeguard station 15 only. Sat/Sunday as well. They have a ranger actively watching the dogs. Any aggressive dogs like Pitbulls will be removed from the beach immediately. Zero toleration for aggressive behavior. Dogs must be on a leash.

I highly dislike this park for dogs because the local government charges a fee to use this beach. They should make at least one beach spot for people that live in the area which will be legal to allow you to bring your dog to get exercise and let loose for free. The Boca area politicians want to make money off dog lovers. You have to go all the way to Juno beach to let your dog enjoy the beach legally. That is the closest place I know with a legal dog beach. To get there go on I95 north to Donald Ross exir and and go all the way east to the end untill you hit the beach.Take a left and park your car for free along the beach and let your dog loose without having to spend any more money then gas.By the way,Juno beach is nicer beach then the one in Boca
