We had our wedding at the Big Oaks Shelter. It was simply beautiful. The staff mowed the day before and were very helpful through the process. The only thing I did not like was that the public was able to use the restrooms while we were having the wedding...and the wedding certainly did not stop the public from using those restrooms!

Fun and beautiful place. Has a little beach with a safe area to swim. A lot of neat nature including Bald Eagles, Red tail Hawks, Snakes, Deer and of course fish.

A very nice park with a hotel, restaurant, and boat ramp. There is also a beach when the water is lower

Came here for the ibo second leg archery tournament. Nice, clean park and the DNR do a great job!

Awesome water views, a great boardwalk on the point and a nice wooded trail called The Big Oak trail

LOVE this PLACE!!! GR8 FAMiLiA cookouts!! Just wish they had MORE picnic tables by swimming beach!
