We were the first guests there on 11/25/2020. Although the kids had a fun time, there were several areas where attention should be given.First, the toilets did not appear to have been cleaned from the night before. There was dried urine on the back of both toilet seats. The regular cleaning of restrooms should be a nonnegotiable.Secondly, all of the hand sanitizer dispensers were empty or not functioning. I found this strange, considering we’re in a pandemic.Lastly, lack of cleanliness in the concession stand area was noticeable when purchasing some Gatorade’s.I would have noticed these issues regardless of a pandemic or not, but one would expect stricter cleaning protocols during a time of elevated awareness. I took my kids at 9:00 am on a Wednesday expecting a clean environment and sparse amount of other people. The kids had a great time, but the cleanliness could be much better.

Family friendly place to get some energy out or practice for extreme sports. Our office went together and had a great time. Theres not anyone around to give instructions so that was one drawback but most areas are self explanatory. Socks are provided (& the in-house brand is required, $3). Bring the adrenaline, youre going to need it!

I brought my 2 children (ages 5 and 11), I also brought a friend of theirs (Age 10). They all enjoyed it! This is definitely a place for all ages. Heck, I had a blast too!The staff was very helpful and kind. They seem to have a lot of younger people, like high school or college kids. They appear to be a good group of kids. I watched a few of them interacting with children there. They seem to enjoy their jobs and want to make sure the kids are having fun.Everything was very clean. Both the play area and the area around. I saw the workers cleaning more than once, like sweeping or picking up trash. The bathroom was clean as well, it didn’t smell bad. We all know we have been to places that you must hold your breath to use the bathroom, this is not one of those places.We will most definitely be returning!

We have been going here for years but this was our first time back since Covid came to our area. To be honest, it was so gross. There is trash all over the floors and trampolines. I saw dried gum on a few trampolines. There are dust bunnies all over the place. We went first thing when they opened so it’s not like the filth was due to a busy day. It is obvious that no one sweeps or looks around for obvious things like bright blue gum on the trampolines. The hand sanitizer machines were all either broken or empty which is absurd considering Covid. I was surprised that, in light of Covid, the cleanliness was worse than ever. Won’t be back anytime soon.

Took my daughter and 3 of her friends for her birthday and they had a retreat time!The staff does a terrific time of watching out after the kids making sure they stay safe! One girl kept pushing one of my daughters friends and the staff did a great job in talking with her then continued to keep an eye on her and making her leave when she continued. I couldnt have asked for more

Service was great. Pizza delivered for birthday party was actually good which was surprising. Excellent party setup and help.

It is an okay trampoline park. The managers were very rude last time i went and threatened to kick my son out for doing tricks that are within his skill level. Altitude Trampoline, the one across town, is 100 times better than this place will ever be.

Fun place. Wasn’t kept very clean today. Trash, spills and no soap or paper towels in the bathrooms.... last time it was very clean maybe it was just an off day

The kids had a good time, it was not crowded, for the most part it seemed cleaned. Staff was friendly, the zip line was not working, kids were a little disappointed about that. One area in the front seemed a little dangerous, I had to get my almost 10 year old grandson off of one of the cubes? And I thought the 5 year old was going to jump off of another cabinet in that same area, might want to make that area a little more safer. But other than that, the kids had a good time. It was worth the 12 dollar tickets that I purchased on Groupon. We will be going back.

We LOVE this place! However, no one is encouraged to wear masks and it’s just as crowded as ever. If that’s a concern for you, you might not want to go for now.

We have been going there since it opened originally and after the reopening from the virus. We went ahead and got a membership for our 3 kids back in June. It automatically renews itself at the end of each month from your debit or charge card. You have to email their customer service to cancel it. The membership pays for itself after the first monthly visit. Drink deals are also part of the membership. Most of the employees are teenagers but they have been super nice to our kids and do a good job. There is a manager or supervisor on duty there who is older. The kids can’t get enough of it. As an adult I’m still waiting for them to open the upstairs waiting area. It’s quite comfortable up there

Ok for your kid, however Defy took all seating out. Accordingly, bring a folding chair if you dont want to stand for hours.

I always love going to jump here. The people are typically great! And it’s always fun, even if it’s crowded. I will say I am bother by the fact that they took away the vending machines, this past time I went, which was today, they had removed some of the punching bags and things. Which makes since due to the “corona” pandemic. The rock wall also had a lot of loose holds. They’ve also gotten strict about certain things which really is unsatisfying if you consider yourself at least an intermediate jumper. But typically I love this place. Just those few things were unsettling towards what I’m used to.

We visited on 5/28 and there was 10 of us. I just want to praise the staff for being so nice, professional and truly on top of the cleaning and sanitizing guidelines. This made me feel even more comfortable about finally having my family out of the house during Covid-19. I forgot the manager’s name that day. He was a taller gentleman. I just want to especially thank him. He was awesome. His customer service was impeccable and he really connected to his staff and consumers. He was also very patient with my large icee order lol. Besides the staff being awesome, the facility was very clean and well kept and sanitized, and didn’t smell like an old gym like some jump places. I highly recommend DEFY Birmingham and we will continue to frequently visit.

Today was the first trip to Next Level with my husband and kids. I loved how easy it was to sign the waiver online before arriving. Upon arrival the place was clean and the staff was amazing at helping us. I have a 3 and a 5 year old and they were able to play in every area. I loved the place and we will be back.

First, we weren’t aware of the rules and they didn’t even tell us. So we didn’t know the limits. We started jumping and talking to others and its over price to jump. Manager was rude didn’t even give us a warning to the standards that we needed to meet when jumping. So we got kicked out. Was rude telling us to leave. For a babysitter he definitely should be nice to kids. What is the point of signing a waiver when you can only basically jump up and down. Just a heads up not for teenagers above 13. And I would never come back

My kids had a great time at the birthday today. Great staff. Very clean. Lots to do and they even extended the play time bc the pizza was ready right in the middle of their time slot. Very safe environment, too. There were at least 3 staff members walking around to help and keep watch at all times.

I got me a great deal from groupon for our jump, so the pricing was great!! Not so friendly staff at check in, tried basic conversation but seemed to fall on deaf ears. Rules are posted everywhere and they tell you before you are able to jump which was totally fine. But the group of workers were all standing in one area, talking and dancing .. cool.. until kids are jumping/landing wrong on the tramp in the back, running and pushing each other. The zip line was down, the blow up to jump onto wasnt working and the concession stand was not opened until I asked if I could purchase something to drink. No one knew if it was open or closed. It was all a bit confusing, no one seemed to know anything except how to use a whistle and the rules. Other than that my kids had a blast.

Visited 4 a Birthday party. After the party was over & our ppl left we stayed 2 let my 5yo play. They let us keep playing & never bothered us. They were very helpful when we needed & went far & above. I definitely suggest this place. It was great & my kid still talks about it.

This is my favorite place to go! It is so much more than trampolines! It has options for everyone. The staff is very kind and it is clean. There is a lot of seating if you just want to watch.

My grandsons love to come here!!! I took them the day before school started for one last vacation fling. They had a blast. Even though there were lots of kids, I felt comfortable because there is lots of supervision provided by by several friendly young people. Definitely will be back!!!

Have always enjoyed this place but the new name apparently brings a host of new “corporate rules.” Kids held behind a rope until clock turned a certain time, only the clock is “wrong” and kids held longer. Wasn’t busy. Mentioned silliness to on duty manager who basically shrugged and fell back on “corporate rules.” Also had to redo all waivers/registration which now regularly expire. We’ll head elsewhere from now on.

Took my niece there today, she enjoyed herself, I enjoyed myself. Great atmosphere and both the staff and other guest were respectful and pleasant to be around.

WOW I am completely blown away by not only the customer service but also the fun environment! I would 10/10 recommend this to all my friends and family. The employees are awesome and friendly... The ease of booking the party through the website was very simple. I had to make changes to our party after the original booking over the phone and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Once we arrived for the party, the staff was very friendly and attentive. Our party hostess-Hayley was awesome! She took care of EVERYTHING so I as the party Mom could truly enjoy my son’s birthday. Would definitely have another birthday party here in the future!

This is a decent trampoline park, but it’s excessively expensive (+$100 for 1 adult and 3 kids for 1-1/2 hour, and Next Levl socks aren’t allowed), plus most of the lockers still don’t work.Since Defy took over, it seems like they’ve cut back staff quite a bit. On a Saturday night at 8:00, there was no one to clean up spills, and no one manning any of the stations, only one person to check-in and a referee/monitor at the top of the ramp to control access/check arm bands. If there were other employees working, they weren’t on the main floor helping with the swings (they just left the retrieval pole out there) or overseeing the dodgeball games.There are cheaper and better alternatives out there; it seems like ‘Defy’ is taking advantage of the fact that Sky Zone went out of business and there’s not a lot of competition.

The kids love it, so much nicer and bigger than the other ones we have been to, it should be on the top of your list of things to do with kids in birmingham, and not expensive

Had a fantastic time. The socks were part of the deal. It would be nice if a drink was provided. After spending 80.00 on 5 kids to jump for an hour you are tapped out on the spending. The kids had a great time.

Not enough help which is very unsafe. Twice I went to get my grandson a drink and both times nobody there to take order. Trapeze bar so high how could a child even use it? Should be help there to pull bar back for younger kids or make bar lower. With so little help I fear a child is going to be seriously injured. As for the facility it is awesome! Best Trampoline place Ive taken grandson to. Ive already purchased tickets on Groupon to bring my older 3 grandsons next month. I do hope by then yall have more staff to supervise.

Very nice place! If you get hurt, they will immediately call in-place help and you can be assisted. The workers are also very nice. We will come back for sure.

We always come here, but today we had a birthday party for our 6 year old. We really enjoyed ourselves. The team even help setup and clean up. I would definitely recommend having a party here. I also received a military discount . It was fabulous.

Great birthday party place. They can provide the cake, pizza, drinks or you can bring them yourself. They can even decorate the room. Lots of fun for the kids. They have a separate room for the party. The arena is vast. Lots of different activities and even areas for younger kids. Very impressed with the facilities. It is pricey but good fun. If you are going on the weekend you need to plan ahead and reserve a time and sign the limitation of liability on line.

Very uninterested employees. Five children jumping for 90 minutes for a total entry price of $146.00 I would have expected more help with the waivers instead of being made to wait in line twice to pay such an exorbitant price. Then attempted to purchase snacks at snack bar only for another rude employee to tell me “they’re closed”. Who closes the snack bar at 5pm when the facility closes at 11pm??? I asked to speak to a manager or someone in charge but no one ever made themselves available Needless to say, we will just go back to Urban Air

My kids love this place. With one 8 and the other 17, it is hard to find things they both like to do together. This is always a hit.

Next level is definitely the best trampoline park in the Jefferson county area i’ve loved going since they were at their air walk location. the homeschool discounts definitely kept me coming as a highschooler. And their season passes / monthly subscription helps as an adult. With this newest location I love the super jump trampolines. And I like that general trampoline area has a lot more space. This last time I came I did notice that some of the mats are very loose and some of them are very tight. even having experience it does feel super easy to get injured with this inconsistency. And I also miss the punching bags that were hanging over the trampolines. And when there is a staff member to help the dodgeball arena is super fun. Anyway I love this place. they just need some small fixes to keep it on top

When we first got there I was pumped but when I got to my favorite part of trampoline parks (dodgeball) no one was supervising. So I went over to the jump pads where you just jump around. But when I got bored I decided to go back over to dodgeball to see if anything was going on. But when I jumped off the pad and landed on the non trampoline part it felt like concrete. So when I went to go embrace for the impact with my arm it broke. None of the staff even bothered to check on me as I was crying and when we went to get ice before we left the person “running” the little area where you get food and drinks he was in the back making out with someone. So we just went home. So overall bad uncaring staff and unsafe area.

Horrible customer service today. Hydrate before you go or better yet go somewhere else! They sure as heck won’t give you a cup of ice to get HOT water out of the water fountain unless you want to fork over a small fortune.

Our boys loved coming here. There were Ninja courses, rock climbing wall, dodgeball, and so much more. Definitely one of the better trampoline parks we have taken them.

Next Levl Extreme Sports was Awesome! It made my sons 10th Birthday unforgettable..love the staff from the very beginning. Kyle helped me so much and he understood if I called multiple times a day asking questions or even changing my party package all the way to the day before party...And Haleigh she was a dream, stayed with me and took care of me the whole time. The only thing that I can complain about is the AIR in the rooms was hot and we needed it cold. Remember tell your guest to arrive early so they can jump, because you only get that first hour of the party to jump and the last 45 minutes is cake and party time. Some of my children that came to the party only got 20 minutes..ugh! But other than the air it was GREAT! Got us in on time and out on time! Loved that I chose Next Levl Extreme Air Sports over all the other competitors.

Got to have a lock in here. Last time we were here someone from our group split open their head from the Zipline falling on them. This time their were no major injuries.

My kids love going here, but a flight associate should definitely be at the dodge ball area at all times. My eight year old son was playing in that area and was repeatedly hit by another child and not with a ball. This is the second incident in the dodge ball area, I spoke with a flight associate who removed the child from the area, and called a manager to state my concern. I purchased flight membership because my family really love all the activities but I will not continue paying when I feel my children are not safe and being bullied by older children.

Been here on several occasions. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I have kids from the ages of 10yrs to 17yrs and they all love it. Really nice parent area overlooking the kids play. Our favorite trampoline park by far and we have been to them all.

A fun place for the family. For 3 dollars, they give you a pair of socks with rubber on the bottom and send you on your way(paying for entry too, I would hope) where they have many things to do such as a zip line going over a foam pit, trampolines across the floor and so much more. Definitely will go again.Remember to bring a drink to keep in the lockers.
