Nice arena........a bit dated but still a cool place to watch a bball game. The games are fun with band, cheerleaders, and a DJ. Jumbotron has all of the fan experience stuff like dance and kiss cam stuff. The team is okay this year so they do generate some excitement.Parking is not that great so be early..

Safe & Secure with on staff policeman. Parking by the curve access and plenty of lighting. Near various food courts and Publix! Accessible for bike riders and persons with a Disability.

We went here for a graduation and I really liked it. I havent saw a graduation where they post the names of the graduates on a multi side screen and they also shot big green and gold streamers at the end. It looked so cool! (But bear with my pictures, my phone just doesnt take very quality photos)

Southeast Louisiana at UAB basketball.

I text ahead by a email. And was told the handicap parking lot was number 24 behind Campbell Hall. Was not able to reach Lot 24 because streets were closed in the police wouldnt let me get on that road. Please give proper information next time.

Thankful for the space to view my daughters graduation. Pleased of room to see 420 kids graduate high school. The seats were cramped and most uncomfortable.

UAB graduation was large but it was over in 20 minutes. Congratulations to all the new graduates. It was such an awesome time watching the ceremony to receive their earned degrees.

I went to vote on midterm election day it was in and out no situations praise the Lord. I also enjoyed the conversation that I had with one of the workers Letha. The conversation with her was priceless she was outside on break after I finish voting. So show me where I can get a snack across the street and she also talk to me about all of these changes downtown healthgrades. I was sitting outside and waiting on my ride. I look forward to seeing her next year or the next election. She said that shes been doing this for 40 years imagine that. I would definitely say she is committed.

Great place to see the Blazers win!

My Granddaughter and my grandson graduated from high school at this Arena and I just loved the way it was set up. Everything was well organfixed and everyone in the arena could see the whole program very well.

Went to listen to a section of the UAB band play patriotic music for the 4th of July. The weather was perfect - warm with cool breezes - the music was great and the view of the fireworks though not perfect, was convenient - and that was what we were looking for.

Great arena at UAB. Timeless design. Well maintained facility with concessions and shops inside. Only downside is finding parking. Parking is very limited and the larger the event, the more difficult parking becomes. Somewhat difficult top navigate if you are wheelchair bound too.

It is a nicely appointed arena. The activities throughout the game were entertaining. They could update the concession stand offerings.

Very nice venue. oncessions have improved. Portals and seats well marked with a lot of staff to help answer questions. Not much of a line to get in, plenty of ticket takers. Clean. Always enjoy attending events there.

Great place to take the family to a basketball game! The prices at the concession stands are very low. All you can drink Pepsi products $2.50, bottle water $2.00, hotdogs $2.00. Everything was priced very low!

Really great basketball arena. When full, this arena becomes one of the best home court advantages in the country. There is a minor edit needed: it says Bartow Arena University of Alabama basketball arena, but its actually the University of Alabama at Birmingham (or UAB) basketball arena. University of Alabamas home basketball arena is about 50 miles southwest of here.

Visited the arena on three separate occasions for UAB graduations, and each time I found it easy to traverse, and the staff was helpful. Parking was fairly easy as well, and not that far from the arena. Although, we did experience a bit of a bottleneck when we attempted to get out of the parking deck.

Concession line too long and slow. We were told on a rainy cold night no umbrellas were allowed inside the arena. There was nothing posted outside or on the tickets. Very upset about that!!

Great facilities and people. But there is no parking had to park two blocks away and feed the meter! Ridiculous.

Very easy to get in and out of, crowd is usually great if theyre present for any event. Staff is good. Only downside are some plain cinder block walls on the interior.

The arena itself was well decorated and clean but the staff is what had me leave only 2 stars. We were visiting from a 3 hour drive for a graduation that took place. We were all on the steps waiting for the doors to open at 9:30 sharp. You could see all of the staff members on their phones and talking to other employees waiting for the cue. Well have it our luck it began to rain.. you would think with 2-3 minutes till they wouldnt have a problem with letting people in to get out of the rain. Nope. Nothing. We stood while it rained and waited on the clock to hit 9:30 on the dot. This was pathetic on their end and all I could think about as I left.

Made for UAB Basketball but I was there for a graduation ceremony which was perfect for the event.

Great school, friendly staff, parking was a bit of a pain but it is in town so not much of a choice. Probably sending my kid to school there.

If you are going to watch UAB Mens Basketball, you now have to pay to park. Other than that, Go Blazers!

Its a mid-sized college arena with few real amenities, but thats also what makes it great fun, and very real.

Parking was a pain in the arse but the facilities, the staff and volunteers were wonderful.
