It was my first time eating there. I dont know that they were super busy but I was disappointed a tad in service. I asked for salt and pepper which never made it to the table. I also asked for a refill which again was overlooked.On a better note. The stuffed mushrooms were fantastic! If you order them, be aware they come with a marinara sauce on the plate. Ditch the marinara and ask for some ranch.I would definitely give it another go and hope that service was just having an off day.

Food is really good. A bit loud with the sports playing on the t.vs but its a sports bar and restaurant. The food is tasty, the staff is friendly. Good service.

I have been in the service industry for 15 years and never been disappointed enough to write a review. There are so many things that went wrong. First we sat at the table for 5 minutes before greeted. There were only two other tables occupied at this time. Then finally got drinks. Ordered the cheese curds as an app then ordered a Burger and sandwich with soup and a salad. We got the salad and soup. Never got the cheese curds. Im the type to speak up except they delivered the food and never came back. We had empty drinks. Needed salt and pepper, hot sauce pickles and refills. Finally we got up and went to the bar to ask, and waited at the bar for everything. During this whole time I heard a customer and employees talking smack about other employees about oh they only have seven minutes to show up. And that continued for half of our visit. Also all the employees working just hung out by the bar talking instead of taking care of their customers. Extremely unprofessional. Very disappointing. All in all I have never been this frustrated. Im from out of town and planning on moving to the area. I will say, I wont ever go back. It was pretty awful.

Good food especially for lunch. If you like brisket try the butchers brisket. It is excellent.

Back-and-forth with these guys I swear LOL. I had listed a bad review a few months back and after management had corrected the issue a couple of months later, I changed the review to five stars and squashed the issues. After tonight, I am done with these guys. I could care less what the management team does. I will never step foot inside of this place again. Every time I go in there and I mean every time, I’m dropping $100 and I always tip The staff 30% at a minimum. Go in there tonight and they are so busy that they’re not allowing anyone to place an order for the next two hours. Keep in mind all of my orders are placed to go so it doesn’t matter if I need to come back in an hour and pick it up that’s fine. I came into the restaurant to place the order personally because I called last week and placed an order and their asinine story at that time was that they were too busy to take orders over the phone so I had to go in there and personally place the order or they wouldn’t take it.That’s how they run their business and that’s OK. Might work for a lot of people but it does not work for me. I will not be going in there again.

It took forever to get us seated, which is semi-understandable do to social distancing, however once seated it took forever to get a drink order and things just kept taking longer from there. The waitress was new so that may have had some effect, but the beers took quite a while. Our food took almost an hour for 2 kids Mac and cheese, 2 wings, 2 salads.They kept making the excuse they were slammed but all their other big tables had their food. We had to ask several times to get enough silverware for everyone and the server never came back after we got our food until we were finished. I will say though, the brisket salad I was was very good, and made correctly as ordered.I feel bad for the new server, but ultimately, this was a very poor experience and we will not be returning any time soon.

Great pickles, chewy lukewarm bruschetta, slow service, 3 meals of 4 delivered and half eaten before the 4th meal showed up, sides showed up late, beers late and sat at the bar for 15 minutes. 3 servers and a manager for 4 people, nothing odd ordered, burger came out with toppings that were requested removed. Simple issues, but the number of them for a simple order is unacceptable. Still great pickles, wish the timing and service were as good.

Monte Cristo so good you could curl up at a booth afterward and take a cozy nap with one of their tasty fried pickles in one hand and one of Billings’ Best chicken wings in another.

Good selection of beer. Food is adequate. The Monte Cristo I had was good but not great. Service was fine.

2nd time there everything was great, couldnt say enough good things about this place . The kitchen and wait staff did a amazing job . The owner should be very proud of his team .

This has been the best place in Billings since I have been here 6 years. I had an issue with my wife and we both disrespected the establishment and for that I am sorry. The manager has always been a stand up guy, however I do think they went a little over board with the police and myself. Thats ok I get it and I take nothing away from them. The food, the service and the management has always been fantastic. Its a well managed place. Cheers #mybad

Great trendy place in the Heights area of Billings. The food is very good (bar food), and the customer service is friendly. This is a great place to relax with your friends and/or family, watch some sports on any of their many TVs.

The restaurant is always clean and the staff is friendly. Not to mention we have never had a bad meal here...ever. One of our favorite places to eat!

The menu isnt updated or cant find reasonable. When mad the staff hangs up on you for questioning....thanks anyways

I loved the atmosphere. It is a sports bar. So dont go looking for a quiet lunch or dinner. We were watching Sunday football and every game was on! We only had appetizers. But we enjoyed them. Would definitely recommend if you like sports.

Had a wonderful meal at the Vig tonight!! Our waitress was fabulous!! Didnt catch her name but she was amazing!! My husband couldnt decide what he wanted. She made several suggestions. My husband chose the mac and cheese on a burger. It was soooo good. He is so picky and he loved it. He randomly got a bloody nose. She noticed and brought him some ice in a napkin. Such a thoughtful gesture!! What a great night!!

Food and atmosphere was great. Watched a 75 year old man order a seniors burger and they brought him a regular one (same burger but bigger). When he told them, they looked at him like he was lying then took the burger and made a the smaller one. He was watching his grandson at a tournament and needed to leave. Really? Just leave the other and reduce the price by a few bucks.

Nice bar scene where the casino is actually seperate. Multiple televisions with recent sports on and UFC matches playing when they are available. Awesome bartenders for sure.

Theres a reason they are so packed that you cant find a parking spot. Great atmosphere and great food.

I love the Vig. I dont have to take a picture of what we are to describe the CS as we are always happy with all of these people. Its like they are really happy to see you every time you come in. No matter when or who you are there is always a smile ready. The food is excellent, I just wish they would leave the menu alone. I remember when we first started going to The Vig, I loved the original menu. It was perfect. Now Im not saying this menu is not perfect but I like the old one better. And if anyone wants to have a huge birthday party out on their patio oh my God the help you get from The Vig employees is amazing. We had one it was so fun and so customer service oriented I cant think these people enough. I just wanted to give a shout out for them big because I just love their company. Sincerely Tammie

Placed an order with Uber eats for myself and my family. Ordered three orders of their sweet tots and after the order was placed, received a phone call that they were sold out of that item. Asked the manager if he could just replace it with a couple of cheeseburgers which was about the same money and he said he would not. He cancelled my whole order. In the past week, I have placed three orders with Uber Eats at about $60 each time. If I had someone that has spent that kind of money just in the past week at my restaurant, I probably would have just traded them with a couple of cheeseburgers. I will be ordering elsewhere in the future.

We had a birthday party at the Vig this weekend and I want to say the staff went beyond the call of duty in making the experience as pleasant as possible. Food was great, hospitality was beyond compare. Without doubt if any family events come up again the Vig will be my first and only option.

The Vig has a typical grungy bar feel, but it does have really tasty food. Their chicken tenders are deep fried in potato chips, which makes them probably the crispiest chicken tenders Ive ever eaten. Their fish and chips were really good too. Its not my favorite place for food, but it is one of the few decent options in the Heights.

Deep fried cream corn is the best and most unique appetizer here. I also love getting the Moscow mules and BBQ bacon cheese burgers, always done excellently.

15 NOV 2019- I had the fish & chips, i had to send it back. Fries were barely warm and nothing but a little salt ( i ordered the parmesan fries) and the fish was room temp, no flavor and soggy on the bottom, the cole slaw tasted like NOTHING- no flavor. THEY STILL CHARGED ME FOR THE FISH & CHIPS. So, thats the last time i will go there and you shouldnt bother either.

The Monte Cristo here is to die for, but most everything else on the menu is worth the trip.Great place for Bingo and Trivia mid-week and all the TVs youll ever need.Well done Vig owners and managers!

Sorry to say I wont be back.Use to love this place, but just cant wait 15 min. for a drink, while the people seated next to us just came in, already have drinks and the waitress was at their table ready to take their order.I felt like my sister and I were invisible. So we left without ordering.

The wings are ridiculously amazing!! Satisfyingly crispy, yet juicy. You can choose from different sauces. I recommend the habanero plum sauce!

Great service. Irish Death (Nitro)is the best beer on tap in Billings. Fish and Chips were cooked perfectly and have an extremely flavorful batter. The loaded Philly was great with their mac ncheese sauce was delicious. Also had the stuffed mushrooms and cheese curds. Both were made from scratch and were awesome! Only complaint was the garlic parmesan fries: just a seasoning, not fresh. We could not taste garlic at all and the parmesan was powdered. Otherwise, I highly recommend!

Great food and friendly service. The Vickle Fries (fried pickle spears) are one of my family favorites since they are house made and better than anywhere else in town. Every burger/ sandwich so far has been amazing, but the Monte Cristo is the best. Highly recommend this place to everyone.

After leaving an unsatisfactory review almost 3 years ago, my wife and I were banned from returning because we didnt remove the review from their Facebook page. We went there last night to attend a fundraiser for a worthy cause and again, we were told we had to leave. For the manager to hold a grudge for almost 3 years over a bad review, says a lot about the management and ownership. I only share this to inform people of the quality of their character and trust they will make their own decision on where to spend their hard earned money.
