I rode the White Pine Trail today, starting at the Big Rapids city limit sign on the south east side, up to Cadillac. This trail is very peaceful and not very populated until you get close to Cadillac. Some say that it is completely pave from BR to Cadillac but, thats not true as there is about a half mile section that is not pave, south of Leroy. What a great trail to ride....try it and youll have a great experience.
Safe and clean area.
Alamode restaurant has really great food. Close to white pine trail
Best trail stop Ive ever seen! Restrooms, chilled water fountain, shaded area and very clean.
This is a peaceful and somewhat secluded trail along the Muskegon River going south/north along the city of Big Rapids. Small, yet plenty of sights to see along this fair line in the sand. Park benches are placed modestly throughout, and garbage cans are available for disposables.
Great place to meet for a bike ride
Rode the entire White Pine Trail by bike over a few days camping along the way at night. It is beautiful, bucolic green trail through the forest. There is nothing else like this trail. There are a few sandy spots that I had to ride the road but other than that, this is a KILLER ride!!!
Wonderful, beautiful. Bicycle trail. Start in Reed City and ride to Big Rapids and have lunch at Gypsy Nickel, Schubergs.
