Even in pandemic times, the grounds are still gorgeous. Building is currently doing some renovations which should look nice when finished

Great park, in a nice neighborhood, very quiet and peaceful. Has tennis courts, trails throught woods, and large open areas.

Really lovely family friendly space.

Jeffreys Park and Mansion is a nice place to take a stroll. It has playground areas for youngsters and quite a few miles of walking trails. There are white tailed deer on the grounds so dont be surprised if you see one or several. If you enjoy Pokemon Go or Ingress Jeffreys has quite a few Pokestops and Ingress portals. There are public restrooms available as well as shelters with picnic tables. You will need to bring your own food or drink as no vendors are on site.

This city park is totally unexpected. The old Jeffrey Mansion and grounds are serene break and the hubbub of a city, even in the suburban setting where it lies. Very pleasant walking trails with some athletic facilities and wonderful play space for children.

An absolutely beautiful place, both outside and in. Home of Bexley Parks & Rec offices, this exquisite setting is enjoyable for all ages. There are extensive grassy areas for playing or lawn picnics, paths through woods leading to Alum Creek, sturdy playground equipment, the city-owned outdoor swimming pool, and the updated mansion, which can be rented for private functions. Handicap parking, entry, and restrooms.

Nice park with a play area for kids. There is a giant field in the park that would be ideal for games of kickball and ultimate frisbee.The trail is quite and great for small nature stroll.Not much wildlife but the park is well kept and clean.

Absolutely GORGEOUS place for a photo shoot, as was our purpose there. We did not take time to enjoy the amenities offered but they are plentiful to make every member of the family satisfied with their visit here. We plan to return soon for the sole purpose of taking advantage of the park/play area, and enjoy the creek flowing near by.

I love Jeffrey Mansion! I was here last month as bridesmaid for my childhood best friends wedding. The venue was beautiful and I had a great time at the wedding and being part of the wedding. This is a great place for a weddings,engagement photos,senior pictures,family reunions or just enjoying this beautiful park.

This park is amazing. The mansion is gorgeous as well. There is a lot of open space. I did a family shoot for my wife there and it was the perfect place. A must visit.

Havent been inside but it has nice little trails to walk on and a short board walk next to the river. There is a pool there and so basketball courts as well as many picnic tables. Its a nice little park to walk around in.

Beautiful park in the middle of a very nice neighborhood. It has a large area to play soccer or frisbee, with the mansion looming in the background. Also has kiddo playgrounds, and some beautiful trails in the woods by alum creek.

Historic mansion and grounds originally belonging to the mining magnate Jeffrey family, donated to the city of Bexley. Utilized for civic, social, and recreational purposes.Our family uses it for exercise, dance, youth camps, and swimming classes. Also, seasonal events are held here such as Spring Egg Hunts, Fall Fests, and Story Times with Santa. Many trees on the grounds were brought here and planted by Mr. Jeffrey, a real treasure!

I grew up in Bexley and visited Jeffrey Mansion quite often. Many Good Times had with friends and family, Cub Scouts, Bexley Recreation, and many other things.. lots of grass and tall trees to wander through, just a beautiful place.

Such a wonderful thing for the community and all to be able to enjoy the beautiful grounds and gardens of Jeffery Park & Mansion. Please go and see for yourself. If you live in the area you can also rent out the home for gatherings.

This is a nice hidden gem in the Columbus area. I didnt know it existed until we were invited to come for a birthday party.

Nice place to host events. A lot of neat adventurous hiding places and photo ops.

The playgrounds are separated by age group. The two and under area is fenced in which is great for kids that want to wonder about independently.

This is one of my favorite parks. It has gorgeous structures, wooded areas, flowers, shade, a great pavilion, a nice playground with two age groups of equipment, as well as an enclosed toddler area. They have a little free library box by the toddler area. Also restrooms. And they have an outdoor little amphitheater with benches and a podium.

Attended a beautiful and intimate wedding here that could not have been more beautiful in early Autumn, both indoors and out. I would definitely consider hosting an event at this gorgeous location!

No dogs allowed, and they dont like kids over 6 in the park, but we still had fun.

Betty nice city park adjacent to the Bexley pool. The tennis courts are well maintained, and even have lighting for the evening. They used to have a large concrete wall that you could practice at solo, but have taken that out. The trail that leads down by Alum Creek is not very long, but very shaddy, and resonably scenic. The various areas around the mansion itself, lend themselves to very nice photo opportunities!

Great place to go to get away from the bustle of the city. Nice tennis courts and a relaxing creek to walk beside. Its too bad they dont allow dogs, or I would come back!

Love it here. Had my brother graduation party there before. In last weekend we had our first family reunion there, It was great played football had music dancing what a great place to have family reunion atGotta check out the pool next time. Planning on stopping by again. Beautiful place

The best summer camp around, amazing staff at the Mansion and of course the beautiful park!

Nice building and grounds. Scenic. Bexley recreation has it now. Built by the Jeffrey mining equipment company.

Great place. Large area for hiking/running in the woods/around the field. Tennis courts and playground. Patio area. Huge building. Whole park can be reserved for parties, or just part(s) (rooms of building, patio, lawn, woods, etc.). Historical. Free parking in front and back. Hidden(ish) passages in the back, great for hide and seek, or capture the flag, or role-play, or whatever. Beautiful area. Deer can often be spotted around the park. Bike trails. Water fountains. Bathrooms. Wheelchair accessible.

Had great time at the camping at the get together.

The park and grounds are excellent and well kept. Ive rented two different shelters for birthday parties. Cost is very reasonable and I have been happy with the facilities both times. Book early for spring events, weekends fill up fast.

It is a quiet little paradise in the middle of a busy city.

Our grandson just married there and had the reception there, too! It was a beautiful venue, and the dinner was awesome! Enjoyed the whole experience!!!

I bring my grandkids here weekly and they love swings and other playground toys. The summer is fun and meet fascinating adults who work in Bexley school. Just a wonderful community and friendly.

I attended a private picnic recently at the Jeffrey Mansion Shelter.This shelterhouse is quite nice [there is a playground nearby] but had been difficult to find for the first time because it is down a sloped driveway and several hundred feet northwest of Jeffrey Mansion.I do not believe that the route to the shelterhouse is accessible to people with limited mobility.I had walked to the shelterhouse from the Parkway Ave. entrance because I do not drive; the sloped driveway from Parkway Ave. to the shelterhouse had been far too sloped to be safe for people who use wheelchairs or other mobility devices.

Great historic venue to explore (esp. the surrounding grounds). We visited for a pancake breakfast around the holidays. The city (which owns the site) has a number of public functions here throughout the year.

Great park for younger kids. The playground has a section for little kids that is gated and has soft flooring.

I was there years ago and took a picture with my friend and there was a hallo above us of a head with a rope around its neck I really feel it is haunted but I still loved it

Beautiful place for the family to enjoy a Sunday afternoon!

This park features the mansion to tour, and land along the creek as well as a shelterhouse, playground, and large flat grassy open space. The trails are marked and maintained, and bathrooms are available. The only downsides are parking (there are only two small lots), and the frequency that the mansion and shelter house are in use for weddings and private parties.

I loved it on Saturday when I had my family reunion it was better than being in alliance for it but I would lobe to have my family reunion there again
