This is an awesome area to visit, whether youre on foot, bike, or boat. There are bike / hike trails going both directions down the river, as well a boat ramp and plenty of picnic tables and benches. Theres an awesome view of the i-74 bridge, including a walk under the bridge if you want. One of my favorite places in the heart of the Quad Cities.

Nice views of the i-74 bridges. Also an interesting place to visit for the history of the floods as they are marked as the height of the floods on the steps. when it does flood its very interesting to see how much of this park is under water

Nice clean park. Has a walking trail great views at sunset. Mosquitoes come out in the evening.

Beautiful setting right on the river and along the bike path. Great place to go to relax and take in the views. Also a great place to look at the new bridge going up

Its still a nice place to visit and take sunset photos, but the grounds are a mess. It hasnt been kept up, sand all over and weeds. Not typical of the area.

I grew up not far from this park. This is such a great place to come and soak in the scenery and to watch to new bridge being built.

Great views, great sunsets

When bike riding the path through Bettendorf this is always a planned rest stop. From under the shelter the river view is great and the picnic tables are convenient for a lunch. Restrooms are nearby. Been here many times already.

A nice park that is often somewhat overlooked. Id say the big appeal of this park is its proximity to the Mississippi River. I find this park to be relaxing and if you happen to be lucky enough to be at the park at the right time it can also be quiet though I have also been there when it has had a lot of noise and activity so its kind of hit and miss from that standpoint.

Was married here, beautiful even in winter.

Excellent Pokemon Go spot with two gyms and a few stops. Overlooking thr Mississippi at sunset was gorgeous. Cute picnic areas too.

Beautiful park, recommend this for anyone needing a relaxing place to sit and adore the sparkling sunset over the river. The park is usually quiet (especially in the later-hours of the day) with the sound of cars passing over the bridge being the only exception. There is also a walkway right on the river, a beautiful deck to sit down at, and just an all around outstanding view.

Did not enjoy this park due to the fact it was raining. I slipped, took a hard fall, and broke my wenus. I enjoyed this park because you could see water. I would give this park a 10/10. But I only rate this park a one star. Thats a lot of damage.

Very peaceful, the S curve and hill leading up to the park make people slow down and say hello. I like to sit on the porch swing just watching the river.

Lots of sunshine, other walkers, bicyclists, and a whole lot of Canada geese and a nice 2 mile walk from the park. Some shady areas along the way to take a break and enjoy the view of the river.
