Thanks for Live Barn! I get to watch my grandson play in his 7am games from my warm bed, 350 miles away.
Decent ice rink used to be real clean, but what can you expect from a PA rink, Hatfield and Oaks a lot nicer venues
Went to the Steel Pub after plans changed, glad we did Great band and delish appetizers
My kids are taking lessons here and getting great instruction. I enjoy the public skate, the ice is kept in good condition consistently. The soft pretzels at the snack bar are AMAZING.
It has Publix skate which is really nice to take the family and friends. Rent or bring your own skates. Family friendly especially doing the day hours as most little kids and families come. If you arrive early the usually have kids hockey games going on that your can watch for free as well! :)
Open skate was packed (as expected). Not ideal for learning or experts, good for somewhere in between. Went with a party of 30 and 17 of us were quite disappointed the bar was closed, at least hoped for a small beer selection at the little snack bar, but no such luck. Decent bar when its actually open though
Fun night out with friends! The Pub next door is a bonus too and has live music with a good crowd. Real good time if youre into skating.
They really mean it when they say things get better in time. Years ago it would have been no good but now that are so attentive to the needs of all skaters. I cant stress enough if you have any issue they will make sure youre happy. They stand by customer service. Good food great memories, great prices, smiling faces. Great deals on pro shop right now. Now time to lace up and head outGreat coaches by the way if you need lessons.
Great place for public skating and hockey. Big facility and well maintained. Glad there is a busy hub for hockey in the Lehigh Valley.
Ice is always choppy. Was disappointed that we had to sit in the middle of public session to watch the zambonie clean the ice. With that said, the people are very nice and the price to skate is great.
Nice place... Snack Bar is nice with ok prices...n CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES TO DIE FOR!!!
It is really fun to come watch games and even skate yourself
Very great place too ENJOY a nite out.
Great place, the fact that it has a nice sports bar indeed helps the place.
Best first experience with my daughter! Super friendly people! Coming back again! Making it a routine!
The skates themselves were uncomfortable and heavy, but good enough to have fun. I guess bringing your own would ultimately be best. But the prices were good - I paid $33 for 3 people and we ice skated for over 3 hours. So thats less than $4/hour per person! The highlight was the cafe that served one of the best pretzels Ive ever had!!Its a good way to spend a part of a weekend! Bringing your own skates though probably would be better.
Its amazing and fun, unfortunately some of the skates can give severe chat and can cause severe skinning
There are two ice rings at the facilities; only one is open to public at limited hours. The think I like able this center is that is not crowded, mostly local folks. The ice surface dont get worn to fast. They offer classes for kids as well. The tickets for entrance is reasonably priced. We had a good time at the center.
Home away from home!
My favorite place to iceskate! I bring my own skates, but when I used to rent skates I would ask for the hockey style ones (in my opinion theyre more comfortable). Very affordable option for date night or hanging out with friends, they have a DJ during Friday night skate. Admission is only eight dollars and rentals are 3, skating usually starts at eight although the hours do sometimes change.
Great place to take the kids. Also great place for beginners. My kids had a fantastic time here. Check them out on Groupon for deals.
We started beginner lessons here and 2 of the 3 coaches we had were either rude or not good coaches and I am so unimpressed with this place. Also we paid for 4 lessons and I was sick for one and couldnt get my kids to the lesson. They barely offered me an alternative and the general manager wouldnt even return my phone call to discuss further options. I am so disgusted and cant wait for the rink in Whitehall to open so we can just go there. What a shame. This was my experience. I hope others had better ones than me.
Open your doors to all the public....not just those you feel like it too. Well wear our masks and skate at a distance
Great space. Ok food and service.
It’s okay for ice skating. The only issue is that it’s always overcrowded and the ice can get pretty messed up quickly. Overall though, great experience and would recommend!
The public skate times are so limited that when they are open to the public it is over crowded and a bit dangerous
Very good service if your at a table. Did not have to use bar for service when it was busy. Good drinks. Did not have food but drink service was great. All in all good place.
It was so much fun to watch the hockey game while I was eating very delicious spinach artichoke dip and coconut shrimp. It was very disappointing walking in to the ladies room. Stall locks were broken as was the toilet seat. There was no cover on the toilet paper dispenser so I had to catch two large toilet paper rolls while trying to complete my business!
I came here for.the last few years and this year it was so crowded and we were unable to skate safely.
Easy to park and the ring is big enough to fit over 100 skaters. Food is reasonably priced and $20 package for kids and adults. Great time fell 3 times but loved it!
Nice place, well run.
Great atmosphere, come here every summer with my wife for the Hockey Fights MS tournament which so happens to be during musik fest....so yeah its a good time just dont forget your mug.
We came to this rink for a tournament and this facility is very nice. Two rinks with a coup I will rows of seating as well as areas to stand and watch. The inside of the rinks are not too cold so you dont have to wear a heavy coat. The waiting area between the rinks is a pretty good size and also located there are a snack bar and skate rental. Off of the East rink is a bar/restaurant where you can buy food and watch either the hockey game or tv. There are two parking areas so you shouldnt have a problem finding a spot. The only reason this is not five stars is because the food is very expensive for rink food and the seating is not high enough. You have to stand up on the seating to have a better view.
Public safe is a really good time. 4 stats only because the rental skates arent that great. Bring your own for an even better deal.
Found this location because of a sale on Groupon. I went with my 2 girls (4 and 10) and they had a great time. The Groupon was 4 passes (admission and skate rentals) for $19. Cant beat that! The particular day we went, open skate for for 2 hours.Parking was very easy as there was a parking lot on the side, back of the building, as well as out in front. There were no lines when we arrived but there were definitely a lot of people there. The ice was not crowded. I did not go to the snack stand but there was a line that appeared to be moving quickly. The only thing I will say is that the skates were a little heavy especially for the kids but not bad for the first time. You definitely want to make sure you wear layers because you will get wet if you fall enough times :)Overall, it was an amazing experience and I cant wait to go back.
Long drive but nice facility!
For what they charge in league fees to skate there you would think the facilities would be better.
Nice place to get a sandwich or snack
Nice rink and locker rooms.
Good ice nice people
Great place for all to enjoy...My first time today and had a awesome time with my family....
Facilities are ok, gets too overcrowded and can be dangerous for those with no experience
Went to see my friends been there last night.Girl Crue(fantastic btw) I enjoy the venue especially now that they added attempt on to the garage door opening to make that a dance floor and stage area it isnt so crowded now because the place is really small and was too crowded before. The food looks delicious and is fairly priced.
Daughter has her hockey clinic there! Great place and like how theres two rinks.
Nice place to skate and exercise.
Great ice rink with an awesome bar and grill attached to the rink.
Had fun here. Youth hockey camp our son participated in and loved it. Large facility and the staff was super good working with the kids.
Had a great time skating with my girls. They have cones to help little beginners which was very helpful.
Place was nicely kept, actually lots of people there. Overall nice place. They smoothed the ice halfway through the time there.
Had a great dinner. Our server was excellent. The band was a little loud but thats effing Rock and Roll for you BABY!!
I find this place to be perfect for families. What could be better than ice skating? This rink is well kept up, the prices are $$, and they have skate rentals. Laugh, have some fun and skate. You will not regret it :) If you get hungry you can stop by the snack bar too :)
Good place to take the kids
Its ok. Over crowded!
Awesome and fun !
Nice barDecent bar foodFun to watch the hockey game in the next roomTake a sweater!
Parking isn’t the best but bearable. Ice was kinda choppy, not sure if it was a little too warm. Good experience overall though.
Had a very good experience here recently. As a guest of one of my buddies, I enjoyed it. Good ice, average locker rooms. Nice people. I was happy to visit here and skate.
Great rink.
Great price, a very nice friendly environment, judgement free and overall alot of fun specially to someone like me who cant skate very well.
Visited after Runners World 10k, nice place, beer cold, bartender very good.
Loved the ice skating show.
Fun place to spend a little time with the family. If you have size 12 plus feet bring your own skates. The rentals will murder your feet.
Home if the Lehigh Valley Phantoms Youth and the GHL! Its a rink with a bar, you cant do better.
As a well-renowned skating rink, acknowledged by the NHL, Im surprised by how small the rinks are. And when we went for the free skate, the ice wasnt even well-surfaced. Good prices for free skate, not for lessons.
Just make sure you dress warm. Its cold in there.
I sat at the pub and got drunk, it was great!
Had a blast here and the staff were very nice
Our first time visiting. Pleasantly surprised....clean, family friendly, and FUN! Even has a separate parking section just for the rink, so its not difficult finding a place to park. Will be going back!!
I have been skating here for 2 years and I have always have been given a great experience. You can always get food and a drink. There is also a amazing restaurant.
Great place to take the kids during open skate. My daughter took lessons there and had a blast. I didnt mind driving her and waiting as they have a bar onsite. You can even sit at the bar and watch one of the rinks. Its fun to watch the younger kids play hockey.
Went there to watch my cousins daughter practice figure skating for an upcoming competition on 2/12/18... For not really being inside the place I knew it was there but never had an interest in visiting until my cousins daughter took an interest in figure skating this past September. The 2 rinks on either side of the building are top notch. I like how the place caters to both the hockey players and figure skaters of all ages and I like how they have leauge play in hocky. The pro shop is very well stocked with all the latest gear for the hockey or figure skaters. I also like how the place can hold year round events even in the summer time. The pub area is nice too I had a soda as I watched my cousins daughter skate around. I also like the fact they have resources on hand if you need a coach for hockey or figure skaters... That takes the guess work out of finding someone.
Ive been skating there for 8 years or more I forget. Ive never had any problems with anything. The staff is great and theres always food available
Went there for an ice hockey game and was very impressed with the facility. Would be interested to go back to teach my kids to ice skate.
The pro shop owner is very knowledgeable and helpful.
My knees are bashed, but I had a good time
The facilities are nice. During the day, the employee leaves the desk quite often, so we wasted a lot of our time on the ice, waiting for a different size skate when he returned.
Among one of the better local ice rinks in the area. Staff do a good job clearing the ice often so the surface remains smooth.
Place was unreal as usual
Great Pro Shop got my hockey skates sharpened while I waited service was awesome!
Great time at open skate.
Affordable and clean place to take the kids. There is food available and you can also bring your own and eat out in the car.
I dont know much about the ice rink, but the bar and restaurant adjacent is adequate.
Awesome place, not only the open ice but steel ice pub was great for a drink and good meal! Wings definitely the best!
First time being at ice skating center loved it️
Not a family environment at all. Even though there is a sign posted that reads No Foul Language, there is nonstop foul language used there. Even around small children. No one seems to care. Also, the men and women on the hockey teams apparently share locker rooms. The locker rooms are in the same hall as the public rest rooms, and when taking children to the rest rooms, you can see both men and women coming in and out of the locker rooms. Children are very observant, and mine inquired as to why this was happening. Also, now that there is a bar there, it seems like more of a party environment, than a family-oriented environment.
Nice rink with a cool location. Awesome adult league tournament we were at there during Muzik Fest! Go F Bombs!
It’s just fine
My daughter loved this place. We had so much fun.
Rink was as expected. TVs inside front doors were not turned on or not functioning (usually have locker room assignments and football). Had lunch at Steel Pub after game.
Great place for ice skating. Excellent instructors and good facilities
Great place. i got here every Friday night. i hang out with friends its a great place to hang out and the guards are generally nice.
Its a good beginner spot
