We were married on 10/10/2020 in the Colonial Industrial Quarter with our reception at Luckenbach Mill. The venue area is absolutely beautiful with the Springhouse, bridges, historical ruins, and little nooks and crannies, we were able to get absolutely beautiful photos. Alecia, our site coordinator made sure every last detail was perfect, and all vendors were coordinated. Amazing job, I would recommend Historic Bethlehem Museums and Sites to anyone looking to get married. There are more venue options on the website too.
People respected social distancing. Really nice to visit.
As Moravian graduates, it was important to us to have our wedding in a meaningful location in Bethlehem. From the spot we stood for our ceremony, we were able to see the campus building in which we met-you can’t get more magical than that. The Luckenbach Mill was the perfect venue for our wedding. We wanted a personalized wedding experience that was a bit non-traditional, and with Luckenbach we were able to choose our layout and furniture, which made the day special for us and for our guests. Being able to use the garden and historical buildings for photos was a dream. The staff at Luckenbach were so patient with us in making our vision a reality. We could tell that our event was a priority to them and that they cared about making our day special. We were even able to have a docent come to give a tour of the Industrial/Colonial Quarter! We HIGHLY recommend Historic Bethlehem sites and hope that you can have your wedding dreams come true as we did.
This is a wonderful organization that works tirelessly to educate and engage the community around some amazing places.
Beautiful downtown Bethlehem Pa. Many interesting stores and a nice clean downtown.
My family and I love historic bethlehem. Walking through the city and local parks is amazing. They have lots of really good restaurants and local stores. Lovely hotels and local pubs and bars. Definitely a bucket list location to visit and spend a few days.
Bethlehem is such a great town with awesome history and deserves the best. Wish it was they way it was when it was run by Moravian Historical Society back in the day. The woman in charge of Historic Bethlehem Partnership is a piece of work- I wouldnt mention this, but it affects so much of Historic Bethlehem.Bummer, the buildings are great and the tours were better at one time. I love when my kids go on class trips to see the Moravian buildings and learn about the rich history of Bethlehem. Also, rates seem higher then they should be for the rides and tours.
Im doing a research and I wanted to know where to find some historic events info anyone?
The walking tour is a must do and a bargain. In just about an hour I learned so much about the history of Bethlehem ( its much more than just about steel). The guide was very informative. Beyond the beauty of downtown any time of the year is the warmth and friendliness of the visitor center staff.
I had friends visit from out of state over the Christmas holiday & they took the guided tour. When they came back to our house they said they where very disappointed in the tour. The buildings are nice and everything but your not allowed to go in any of the buildings to see the decor or how things where built in the 1700s. They said the only highlight was watching the blacksmith at work but even in there your only allowed in 1 section of the building no where else. They also wondered how the money is spent on upkeep of the buildings. They said alot of the buildings look like they havent been touched in years.
