My husband and I stayed one night in a suite for our anniversary. We had an issue at check in, but the customer service department handled it immediately and very professionally.The rooms are cozy, beautiful and clean. The views of the mountains are breathtaking. The coffee station in the room with flavored teas and flavored creamers is convenient. The water pressure of the shower head is nice. The nightly turn-down service with cookies is a nice touch as well.The Valet, guest services, and the bell-hop service is very friendly. There is a hot/cold breakfast that is decent.

Santa Ana is one of my favorite casinos in the area. Havent had a chance to stay at the hotel but its very welcoming and comfortable. Havent hit the Jackpot yet but the machines do pretty good and seem consistent.

The hotel is very nice and there pool is huge. They have 2 spa areas a world class fitness center. The room we have does not come with a bath which is a down side especially when you have young kids but it has a shower. The room is very clean and they serve made to order breakfast. The view of the mountains and the City lights are the best part!

Very strict covid policy as far as ID and proof of residency. Some people have duel residence and only have ID from their home state. Other forms of proof of residency should be accepted.

Was alittle crowded for my taste but won a small jackpot that was nice, I really like the hand washing stations that they have located next to the cashier cage and if you want good chinese food stop by on a Monday night for dinner. They food court is very clean and seating is 6 ft distancing. Go relax have fun and remember to Mask Up and use hand Sanitizer

This is the most Vegas style slot layout of all NM casinos. Its never too crowded and they have tons of things to do besides gaming. Recommend this place for folks who are looking for more of the Vegas feel.

Very nice and spacious. I normally wouldnt gamble here but my go to (Sandia) is still closed. New slots, lot of machines with $2 max bets which is great. I havent eaten here yet so I cant tell you about the food, maybe next trip.

They just reopened after covid shut down. Theyre taking excellent precautions and its very clean and not overcrowded. Very nice experience. We felt safe there.

Love it! Second time weve visited! Once before Covid and now. It was exceptionally clean and they are covid practice safe and have thermal check when you walk in, every time. They are professional and courteous. We will definitely be going again!!

Extremely unfriendly staff!!!! We left immediately because of the extremely unfriendly staff. My wife and I refuse to spend our money at places that have such rude customer service. It was not one nor two but after three rude employees in the first 10 minutes of our arrival that we chose to spend our Sunday afternoon at another establishment. I hope they are able to correct this problem as it seemed like somewhere that we would enjoy gambling at.

Pretty nice place, things arent to cramped however Im unsure if thats because they changed the layout since COVID either way its nice not having to be all cramped together.As with other casinos, what is open & /or available to visit is limited. I know some of the restaurants are open. They do have a beverage area you can walk up to & get from one of the employees working the drink counter. No alcohol is currently served is what I was told.Table games are open, however tables have a lower limit of total players allowed. There is glass between the seats.Im pretty sure youre responsible for bringing your own mask, they DO NOT hand out.Also, they currently only allow residents of New Mexico to enter. Meaning you need a NM I.D (License/ID card/something of the official manner that proves you have a address & has your name)I used my phone to show a bank statement because Ive got a out of state I.D currently but they accepted that without question.No Smoking. They do have a smoking area.I played a mix of machines and blackjack at tables; as always I loved playing blackjack however I couldnt ever get a good amount ahead like I normally would.Slots, surprisingly, I had quite a bit of luck there. Provided I put at least a 20 in I ended up winning, pretty good amounts on multiple different machines.Their dollar machines seem to be a lot more generous then if you try higher bets on a none-dollar machine. At least that has been my experience thus far.Its a nice place and I enjoyed my time.While Ill probably avoid table games at this place in future I do plan to go back some time.

It was a very pleasant stay.I really appreciated the young lady in the front desk on 10/30/20 early in the morning, I dont remember her name but she was very nice and it was a pleasure having her assistance.

Not a good comeback. You have to touch machines to get it cleaned. They REALLY tighten up those machines. Spent good some of money didnt even get playback. Guess they gotta pay for that hotel.

They are rude and awful to guests. Its dirty and smokey. The food is edible if youre not picky. The traffic to get there is NOT worth the trouble.

Just visited one day for lunch. It was nothing special. Not really appetizing. I do not gambls. Cigarette odor offensive. Know one guy who wirks there has hx theft and now felony DWI record. Your staff remain a lot to be desired.

It wasnt crowded. They check ur temp. I won. They disinfect everything too. The machines r already parted, there r sinks to wash ur hands frequently. It was awesome. Ty.

Casino was nice! Won some money! Buffet food was delicious and well worth the price! There is a lot of machines to choose and I personally dont play on the tables but Im sure theyre good too!Since the hotel is new of course it was beautiful the doors and rooms are even big enough to fit a wheel chair, theyre very roomy and gorgeous! There was a few little issues I noticed but when its brand new you cant expect everything to work. Such as our TV would splice the picture or it would freeze, the complimentary hair dryer shorted out got hot and died as I was using it. But I was able to call the front desk and get a different one. The phones worked off and on and sometimes it would say we had a message but when I pressed the button to listen to my messages it would say I didnt have any so... Who knows! All in all I would go back its a great place to go for a stay vacation! Pool was nice, they had two hot tubs and a bar next to the pool! Cant beat that!

Went to the winter wonderland... It was a joke. Maybe worth a $5.00 or 10.00 donation would be okay but not 40.00 per car with a limit of 5 people.. Live and learn

Patron beware, this is a hotspot for the virus and though they claim it to be masked, they require you to remove your masks in the front next to the ventilation where all the air from inside blows for their temperature check, which is unsafe and ridiculous as a temperature can be taken masked. Patrons proceed we caution, as they also dont require others to be masked while INSIDE the casino either. Not worth the danger of the virus in going and this place needs to be shut down by the state and their tribal Gaming compact removed for unsafe health practices during a health pandemic.

Tonight we went for the All you can eat Seafood Buffet. It was amazing. We tried the Mussels broil and I think Ill be headed back every week. The price is outstanding for everything. The desserts were also yummy!.The Staff was accommodating to our situation and they deserve nothing less than a 5 star rating.This is another Must if you are traveling through or a local.This Casino above the rest.....theres nothing that I dont like. All Staff is friendly and helpful.

Called to book a room was told because we werent New Mexico resident we couldnt book a room because we are from AZ to me that sreams discriminatiion gainst us because we are from another state. Talk about piss poor customer service so then check into another hotel told we could go to your casino and once again turn away at the door. I have never seen such a mess up place in my whole life I will be letting my friends and whomever I come in contact with dont bother going to New Mexico and think you are going to be able to go to the casino or even some reaturounts because you definitely will be wasting your time and money traveling . So that means the joke is on you and your lost to out of state travelers.

The casino is very well equipped with a lot of sanitizing areas I like the fact that the shields are extended at each machine. They also have washing stations throughout the casino

I love this place the new hotel rooms are amazing the artwork in the hotel rooms are something to look out for sure the view is breathtaking. You have to have a wristband on for the pool and you get two cards for breakfast that you have to take down to the restaurant they like to ensure that only guests that paid for rooms get to take advantage of the amenities. The pool and hot tub area is awesome they have a cool outside area for suntanning two big hot tubs and a nice heated pool. The breakfast was good they have lots of options though I wish they did have waffles or muffins but it was a great experience and I definitely will be going back their room prices are not super expensive so you dont feel like youre going broke. I highly recommend this for anybody single people families business it will suit anybodys needs

Professional crew. Modern and clean room. Great bathroom. Ample of parking space. Great and intuitive info how to get to hotel entrance. Good breakfast. This is truly 5 stars hotel besides they list it as 3 stars only. I wish other popular hotels would learn from this place how to conduct in hospitality business.

The beds were comfortable, the pool area was so nice and relaxing, the staff was great. The only thing I would have to mention is that we called for a late checkout in the morning and were denied because they had hit their limit. They told us we had to let them know upon check in if we needed a late checkout, but we didnt know we would be needing it at that time. Maybe just a heads up to mention when booking a room. Overall, great place for a staycation with my husband and kids!

This hotel from the outside and the lobby is quite nice. The room was spacious and bathroom large. What was not satisfactory with this hotel was the smoking from the casino. Everywhere it reeked of it making it quite unpleasant. The walls are paper-thin and the bed hard. Pillows were also hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast at the hotel was quite pleasant. The staff were professional and helpful. All and all if you smoke you won’t have an issue or if you have an uncomfortable bed already.

Not over crowded at all and no waiting at blackjack tables either. Had a great time and did well.

This casino is far by one of the best casinos Ive been to. They have the best player club benefits that other casinos dont have. There slot attendance and slot techs are nice and work to be there to help once the service button is hit.Havent been to any of their food establishments but the snack bar has good food and deals that cant be beat.They have a newly built hotel that I hear is nice. And they also have a bowling alley that the whole family can go any enjoy.Good job guys keep it up!

I had a wonderful restful stay here just recently. The rooms are beautifully appointed, big comfy beds love the bathroom and shower. The free breakfast was delicious. The staff great friendly and helpful. I will stay here again very soon.

Great view from our room. Room was awesome and a good price. They allowed tractor trailer parking. Hotel and casino were very nice. Good food. Only wish they allowed outside beer to be brought into the rooms.

The service was great especially since I had my mom with me who needed some mobility assistance. And the bartenders at Juniper were very helpful and knowledgeable. I learned how NM is different from CO gambling rules.

Went to the casino to play for an hour. Lost about $100 and went to leave. Started up the car and within that time limit, someone had cut out the catalytic converter on my SUV. Security was helpful and friendly, but I dont think Ill be returning.

Casino took my money but the food was excellent!

We went to the bowling alley inside. It was clean, lanes were new. Balls in good shape. Lanes did have heavy oil but overall a great time. Also have been to The Stage which also was a great time waiters were awesome seating was comfortable and had a wonderful comedy club feel to them.

Check in was quick and swift. Rooms were clean but I could hear the next door person coughing. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast.

The room was nice and clean. You could hear everything in the hallway. Staff was ok. There is a lot do do. Breakfast was good. Probably wont spend the money to stay here again.

Was there for a wedding. Parking is a little crazy but very nice inside. Not too loud being a casino, well decorated. Would be 100 times better if rd construction wasnt going on!

This new hotel has been open since July, 2018. Room 731. The room was nice, and the unexpected window view was beautiful. Contemporary furnishings and decor. Large shower, but no bath tub. We ate at the Juniper steak house, and the filet mignon was one of the best Ive ever had. However, the full pound of lobster was more like a pound of shells, and a bit of lobster and crab mix. Creme brulet for dessert was delicious. We spent about $140 for the two of us at dinner, with no alcohol, so it is a bit pricey. For a dinner away from the big city lights of Albuquerque its worth it though, if only once every so often. There is an indoor pool and two hot tubs, and there is also a fitness room with enough equipment to have a good workout. The casinos are large and have all the games. They have a nightclub, as well as an entertainment venue. And if you like, they have a 36 lane bowling alley with all the updated scoring and equipment. That evening, after a nice warm shower, we fell into the very comfortable king size bed, and the action was like fireworks. We slept very well. The next morning was action packed again, followed by a pretty good breakfast which is included for guests. Eggs, sausage, potatoes, oatmeal, pastries, and a good selection of drinks. It did the job. Overall, we had a very nice time here, and I would recommend this place to anybody. There is also an upscale resort (Tamaya) located on the property it its much more expensive, and having stayed there before, if you just want a quick getaway for a day or 2, this place is more economically sensible.Have a great time in this sleepy little town of Bernalillo and at the Santa ana casino and hotel.

It felt like we were staying at a really expensive resort for the price of a motel.... the hotel was clean and beautiful. They served free breakfast that was pretty good for continental hotel breakfast. The casino had several restaurants for all budgets decent food drinks kinda sucked for the price though not much alcohol more like a smoothie. The casino did not have any card games but had decent penny slots served free non alcoholic beverages. Im not a huge fan of gambling so didnt spend too much time on the casino floor. They did have a beautiful indoor pool and hot tub and what looked like a poolside bar however the bar was closed and the pool/hot tub was full of obnoxious loud kids so we didnt end up going. However overall definitely worth it and a good experience!

Wonderful place to stay. Great rates. Clean, comfortable rooms. We were supposed to get standard rooms with a king bed and were upgraded to a suite at no extra cost. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. We stay here every time we travel to the Albuquerque area.

Juniper steakhouse - toughest prime rib ever. Noisy. Good filet. Medium service. Tables are way too wide to carry on a good conversation with a loved one on the far away side if the table.

The hotel is very nice and inexpensive and the staff is absolutely wonderful. The food is great and the rooms are very comfortable and just absolutely gorgeous. We had the buffet and it was great!! And we did like having the option to do that. The service was good in the buffet.

We loved the casino. Being from another state we were unaware of the state law that you can not drink on the casino floor. Thankfully they have a bar near the floor so you can leave your table to get a drink. They hotel was very nice, only thing was the next door room had a young child yelling and screaming at early hours, after we had a late night at the casino.

This was a beautiful new clean facility. The views of the Sandia Mountains were spectacular. The food at the restaurant was excellent!

Very friendly drink servers. Hard to win anything substantial. Good variety of slots. Cafe and restaurant food very good. Buffet food used to be better. Now, small servings of any meat and skimpy salad bar. Most food at buffet tastes like it is straight from a can. Management doesnt seem to care if you like it or not. Same with music choices, etc. Rap and heavy metal most late nights. Not pleasant to those of us that are no longer in our twenties. Overall, the casino is pleasant and bright.

The hotel is great. The rooms were clean and well appointed. Especially for the price. The rooms themselves reminded me of Westin but the price was much cheaper.The weekend buffet is also pretty good. The entrees are excellent. My only complaint about the buffet is regarding the desserts the selection isn’t that great and they seemed pretty stale/old. Otherwise it’d be close to perfect.

All the floor staff is rude there wont be going back... I rather go to Sandia or 66 Casino..

Value for the money is unbeatable! And they allow pups! The food was great, hotel is clean and well appointed. This type of experience, for such a bargain, is unheard of today. Would stay again, without question, and we will make it a point to when we pass back through!! Great hotel and casino!!

We like to stop here at the Santa Ana Star Casino just to have a few drinks and play a little. Its nice to stop and rest and wait for the morning to come so we can go to eat breakfast.

The rooms are really nice. We had a room that overlooked the parking lot, but still had a great view of the city and mountains. The continental breakfast was more than I anticipated. Scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, and oatmeal. Service was great and staff was awesome. Theres a lot to do at this casino, so there was no shortage of entertainment. We are at the seafood buffet and everything was really fresh. We will definitely be back.

Place was Great... didnt win nothing but unless you place max bet dont expect too. Ate at Cantina Rio... the bar tenders were great, drinks were great and food so good. Cant wait to stay in the hotel and be pampered

Service was friendly and exceptional. My view from the window was a mountain, but I went during the balloon festival so I was able to see the hot air balloons taking off at around 7 am from my window! They provide continental breakfast on the second floor with lots of variety for everyone, and the food was amazing. Weather you wanted a quick bite or a 2/3 course breakfast meal, the employees were on top of it and always made sure the food never ran low. They had amenities such as a coffee maker in the room, a mini fridge, pretty big TV, touch screen thermostat ect. . The showers are neat as well with the see through door . I recommend for everyone. New Mexico is very interesting.

We ate the buffet at the Santa Ana Star Casino. Wait staff was great. Our waitress was very nice and fast and friendly. Food was good also. The buffet workers on the Mexican food side are rude and very lazy. The kid with the black beanie hat with headphones is very rude. The older man with glasses is just as rude. If they dont want to do the job, they should not be there. You ask them to cut a piece of meat, and it is to much for them to handle. Those two workers make the evening a bad visit. I hope they can get people to work the buffet, that enjoy the work they do.

I have no real complaints. In my opinion Santa Ana is better the Sanda when it comes to staff. Crab legs is nice and sweet. Sea food is good and in point. Nice staff so far. Food is great. Great place to eat and play.

The hotel is amazing! From the time we walked into the lobby, check in was easy and the young lady that helped us was very helpful!! It was so clean and comfortable! We came for a cross country race and they had shuttles to and from the venue. There was even a bowling alley there and the kids had so much fun!!

Lovely Interior. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable except for the fact the the thermostat was set at a constant 70 degrees. Also there is no bathtub. I appreciate the lovely modern shower however, the sliding glass doors DO NOT keep the water in. So the entire bathroom floor fills with water. Difficult at best.

I didnt want a smoking smell in my room and the front desk counter lady made sure we were comfortable and satisfied. All the employees were so nice, great customer service! The amenities were great that we decided to extend our stay an extra day. We enjoyed the hot breakfast and salsas they offer. I recommend this place

This hotel is new and very clean. The staff is great. However, the beds are very uncomfortable. Theyre hard and we wake up with our hips and back hurting. The breakfast is mediocre. Not really worth waking up early for. We like to play here though. The machines arent as tight as some other casinos nearby.

This is a review of the hotel and staff. Very nice experience throughout our stay, particularly want to mention Tasha at the front desk who helped us with check in. Very personable and friendly. Room was well appointed and looked to be very new. Bed was comfortable, slept soundly. The breakfast was included, a mix of hot and cold food, and i would say it is above average. We do not gamble so cannot say anything about the casino.

I paid for a room that had either a Mountain View of Golf Course view. Checked in today and was given trouble about requesting a Mountain View vs the Golf Course view. I was happy to hear I did get a Mountain View until I got to the room....See attached photos.

It was very clean and well maintained. Staff was all very nice and willing to help with anything.

The casino and bathrooms are very well-kept. The staff as a rule when you engage them are helpful but I dont find them inviting and welcoming. The buffet needs a little more love, desserts are limited. I love their coffee. No luck for me here and not a lot of free play. Good luck.

Had a wonderful time ringing in the New Year here! Delicious food, friendly staff, fun band. I only wish the dance floor had been a bit larger! All in all, it was an amazing night.

Good price for the super clean room that was fully finished with all the 5 star trim. The only part I didnt like was that you couldnt unload your bags out of your car yourself, you needed the guys to do it. So I felt like I had to give them a tip, I did. But I would rather do it myself.

I loved this casino and was excited about trying the hotel but when we found a bed bug they did nothing. I was treated like I was stupid and got no help. I cannot believe they wouldnt even take half off the room!!!
