You need to enjoy fried and grilled food. No fussypants eaters The food is suitable for outdoor dining. The workers are cheerful in spite a very challenging work environment. Unfortunately, the seating is surrounded by heavy vehicle traffic.

Nice place to visit on a hot day in East Bay

I love all the beaches and parks and marinas in this area... so many undiscovered hidden gems in so few miles.

We go here every weekend for the dead seagulls that float onto the shore. Sometimes sharks float in too. They say it is the refinery that is causing this. I dont know, I dont care, I just like to look at dead things with the kids and wife.

Yes, great safe place for everyone even the dog family members. There are areas for all interest. Well kept and clean area. The views live up to any Bay expectations. I come here for the paths. Great for waking, jogging, and bike use. I am so glad that it is here for everyone to use. The constant police patrol gets gives an added sense of security. Thank you, City of Berkeley, CA.

Cool stuff washes to shore from the tide. Also one of the best driftwood forrest Ive ever seen. Its almost like a jungle gym of drift wood.

Best place for stunning SF and Golden Gate Bridge views as well as gulp of a fresh air from the Bay

Great views of both the Bay and Golden gate bridge on a clear day! There are some homeless folks every once and awhile but they are harmless. Nice spot to go for a run along the water or to fly a kite. Also a dog park near.

This park is good for strolling, observation and views. It does not really have a beach, but the meadow restoration has made it good for birdwatching, and it has flat terrain so that its an easy hike. I found the scenery beautiful, and saw some good birds while I was there, and some water birds. It was a pleasant experience.

Great spot to walk, run, or bike through. The birding is good, youre right next to the Berkeley Marina with all it has to offer and the Sea Breeze Cafe is there as well.

San Francisco is Gorgeous!

If you go early when the sun is coming up its got beautiful views. Its peaceful, calming and relaxing. Because its so early and the tide is low there is also a lot of life going on around the shore.

Great walking trail. Clean and safe. Very close to shopping stores and the marina.

Good open, well protected natural habitat. Great to take the kids in the day time. Be aware it becomes a make out destination later in the day on theough the evening. So children I would recommend during the earlier daytime hours.

Area is getting very busy due to so few alternatives for those with pets. Starting to see more problem pet owners now as well. Pet caretakers with aggressive or behavior issues. (Pets & their caretakers)

So glad all of our pooches can still roam and swim! Its still a mix, with a few poorly raised and socialized dogs. Fortunately, there is space to find your spot. New bathrooms!! Bonus: your dog clean-up bag works great for holding the trash you can collect on the beach.

All new, very nice except smoking is allowed inside. Air filters work pretty good. Seafood buffet is delicious.

The surf was high on this very cloudy day. The roar of the waves, the cry of the gulls, the wind in my hair and the mist on my face created a feeling of rightness in my soul. I enjoyed the street art on the break wall. Creativity given a free hand, invoking varied emotion! A good day to breathe in the salty air!

The park itself is awesome, but it really sucks that they allow people with permits to walk multiple dogs at one time. Theres no way for 1 person to be in full control of more than 2 dogs, let alone 7!!!

Super cool for what it is. Its not too much of a beach. Its in a harbor in the bay, so basically a pool, or lake. But maybe less clean water. Dont expect waves here. However, it really shouldnt be there at all, so either they brought in sand for a beach or its just a cool spot that has it. They have beach volleyball poles and stuff, so it ends up being pretty cool. Especially good for families with small children or simply a lazy day in the sun.

Great place in the Bay area! Definitely go check it out. Suset is amazing.

The views of the city and the sunsets are beautiful to watch from there. Too bad the area is being invaded by a tent city that keeps growing every day and with that the piles of trash grow too which is making the whole area to look (and is) very trashy.

It is a nice place to go and relax and look at the water and boats.

It was nice we got a good spot very close to lake,the only thing is showers dont have hot water. If you shower it has to be cold.

Wonderful bookseller. Cafe was a bit pricey, and seems to cater more to millenials.

Another great spot on the East Bay in the East Bay Regional Parks. There are some cool artwork features out on the trail. Take a walk and see for yourself.
