Loved skating here. Honestly a very gentrified park at this point. Has lost its fun. Much more freedom at nikkol Park on McDonald. Or defremery in Oakland. Honestly to the people that police and run the park. Yall need to quit and let the park fail. Real skateparks dont have lifeguards....

Pretty good sized park with different challenges depending on your skill level.

Great skate park according to my 21-year-old roller skating daughter, who went there for the first time this week. See my uploaded pictures of the two signs out front for their current COVID rules (reduced hours, best to sign up online, etc.). They have staff on hand to check your reservation, etc. The people were friendly and a vast range of ability -- super impressive skateboarders being sweet to tiny youngsters starting out, everyone seems to take turns smoothly through some shared understanding, etc.

Amazing park. I love it here and i would recommend going here if youre a beginner or a great skateboarder or rollerblader.

Really like this park. Im a BMXer and go their with my skate buddies a lot. It flows really well and has a lot of options for diverse lines. Skaters can be a little unfriendly to BMXers, but if youre not a jackass and get out of the way youll be fine.

Had a blast skating on a Tuesday night. Its like being in another world, outside of the city of LA. I will be frequenting this awesome landmark. Its the only normal, non-roller derby rink around!

Its really old concrete with good transition overall. It takes some time to figure out how to get speed but it is still rad.

If you ride BMX you will most likely get the cops called on you. The skaters hella hate and discriminate against bmxing.

Its big and has a bunch of lines and the transitions are good, but the concrete is getting older and a lot of obstacles are poured strangely- particularly the pyramid in the middle and the step up gaps. Its lit until 9:30- one of the later lit parks in the bay.

Berkeley Skatepark has a big bowl and a street course with a ton of different lines that you can take. It has a fun box with a pretty decent wall next to it and there are transitions all over this place. This park is good for skating at night time because it has lights and that is a nice bonus.

Flat rail is way too high but its a decent park otherwise.

Great family atmosphere. Nice lawn, lay out with colored pencils and drawing board and sketch out your branding details.

I am a beginner at skateboarding and i would say this is pretty good. Could have more but its good enough.

Its really nice and used regularly all year round from around 7 am until 9:30 pm, when the lights go out. Clean but could use some maintenance.

No pads. Mellow to large features. Not crowded.

My home park!! Love this park for fast lines.

No bikes makes this skatepark a bad experience. Older skaters are beligerent to younger bike riders which is not good for either group. Seems Berkeley is not so progressive when it comes to skateparks.
