Watched the mens Cal soccer game there. Was pretty warm outside so very few shady spots. Steep stairs. Exterior entrance a little dilapidated And could use a little freshening up
Very old stadium in the middle of Berkeley. Parking along the streets around it requires purchase of a parking pass. There is no attached parking lot. Home side has aluminum bleachers; visitors sit on concrete. Some excellent period architecture, with huge concrete columns. Track was in good shape. Infield was tiny, with pole vault and high jump pits set sideways, at the ends of the field.
One of the most iconic track stadiums in existence! I definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in Berkeley. It is a very old stadium that risks being torn down to add more student housing.
The stadium is a great place its huge and has big stadiums.
Nice view.
Fabulous tennis stadium. Its not public, but if you take a class through UCB Recreational Sports you can play on them. Most of the womens marches are free to watch.
Love this place on not so sunny days! Bring sunscreen and hat....and water.
I will be back to have more fun
Great tennis venue, very nice track and field. The grandstand is slated for demo which is a shame
