My daughter took classes here for almost 4 yrs. It was alright in the beginning when the owner/creator Ms. Mona(who can be very blunt and believes no child is born with any art talent, that it is all taught) was running the show. When she retired, and assigned her assistant Katherine to take over the reins and run the show, it became a circus. Some people are meant to be teachers, have patience/heart and drive to influence, guide and inspire our youth. Katherine is NOT one of these people. She seems to enjoy belittling children, portraying what a privilege it is to take classes there as if it is Harvard. She takes her personal problems out on the children and parents by yelling at them. ( she stated her personal problems while acting out her confrontations). Im pretty sure that the owner has no idea what is going on, for the owner is in her 80s and in assisted living in another state. My child did bring home some great artwork, but also received verbal abuse in the process, furthermore killing inspiration/creativity. People spend your money elsewhere! There are other better places to spend your hard earned money for great learning and civil environment for your child.
