Cheap membership for residents. Never super busy. All I want is a nice treadmill and thats exactly what I get. They also offer classes that look fun and have several workout rooms.

I stopped by the Berea recreation center on a day pass to mix things up from my regular workout spots. I was pleasantly surprised to find a wide variety of equipment. My favorite piece of equipment being the synergy 360 system. Not many local gyms and rec centers will have something like that avaliable to its members. Treadmills, stairmills, ellipticals, bikes among many others for cardio equipment. The weight room while a bit small has more than enough space and equipment to get a good workout in.The cost of $7 for a day pass is more than reasonable. I enjoyed the layout of the rec center as well. It all flows rather nicely. The staff was extremely kind and helpful as well. I will definitely be back the next time I need a change of scenery.

Nice recreational center. Offers many activities for all ages and has a variety of exercise equipment. I would recommend this place to others. Enjoy!

Very nice and clean and my aunt owned that building when it was Berea rolling ball and I think shed be proud of what you guys did with it still for the kids 2 thumbs up

Great place for my cardio. I paid 700 dollars a year at Lifeworks and the rec has the same equipment and because Im 61 only pay 43 a year

Me and my friends snuck in without the person at the front knowing and we went to the pool since im 13 and hes 9 i got to go in the hot tub under age. When we left they were saying why the door opened but it was only us sneaking out!

Google keeps asking me to review the rec, so here goes.The Berea Recreation Center has heavy things. I visit a few times a week to pick them up and put them down repeatedly. I am told that with persistence, Ill be able to move on to heavier things, and get totally swole, bro.Also, its very clean and the staff is nice. Are you happy now, Google?

Simple arrangement of workout equipment. I like the friendly atmosphere.

Started back to the exercise program again, winter months put to many extra pounds on. Everyone here is so helpful and they have programs for all ages.

They make due with what they have. Swimming classes are great, especially the personal classes with Erica. She is great with kids. My 3 year old asked for her to teach him.

Great location many great programs

Overall its ok and snacks at vending machines is $2 and under. Gym i huge for us it was 2 11yr olds and we got in for $6 all together and $3 each but its ok.

I take my mother-in-law for aerobics classes that are included in the silver sneakers program the instructors are just wonderful and so is the staff of Berea Rec

Generally nice staff. Weight has been recently updated and is kept clean. Busy on the weekends.

It has the basic fitness equipment, space, and classes that anyone could want, plus a nice staff.

Clean, well staffed, and great hours.

Its not a pretty as middleburg or cheap as brook park, but it does what it is made for. Added benefit over brook park - at least you know its going to stay open, you dont have some Jackrabbit mayor threatening to shut it down.

Staff, members and classes are awesome! Can be very costly to rent a room for an event.
