It is even nicer at twelfth street park if you know the shipping history of Benicia. I like to imagine the ship building going on 100 years ago. Beautiful sunsets. Nice dog walk.

Since all the playgrounds are closed, these small beach areas are a good option. Be prepared for your little ones to get wet and muddy!

It was realy nice

One of my favorite places to visit. It is so quiet and relaxing. I do a lot of my thinking here. Plenty of benches and picnic tables. There is also a huge grassy area for a picnic. If you do want to sit at a table I suggest bringing your own table cloth. The tables can be somewhat dirty. No shade over tables. As for tree shade there isnt much of that at all so make sure to bring plenty of water, hat and sunscreen. There are homes around the park so you will need to be mindful of that. FYI there is a portable bathroom there too.

The end of city street and the best view of the waterside in Benicia. Everything starts and stops here when it comes to festivals, holidays, or anything else going on. Fishing off the pier, walking on the shoreline, its all here. Love it!

Love this place, peaceful and at the right time some good fishing!

Been going here since the 80s. Always a great place to just sit and get some peace. Bbq and picnic tables available and lots of duck and geese friends.

12th Street park in Benicia is a nice place to be by the Bay, you can also feed the ducks and geese!!!

Small park hidden away on a beach. Great for picnics with a great view.

Its so nice to see the wild geese, but dont feed them. Nice quiet place to have a picnic.

Its really great that Benicia has taken the time just set aside small coastal areas for the general public to enjoy. Cities doing a great job!

The small park just north of 12th street park is called Matthew Turner and a favorite for various watersports and fishing. Beautiful waterside park.

Good for walking

Decent place to launch kayaks. It doesnt seem to get crowded so there is always parking available.

Its somewhat small and secluded but has decent parking. No dogs allowed which is a drawback.
