Great views all around! Beautiful old juniper trees, flowers and sage and more.

Started walking right at 8am when the park opened. Not a lot of people on the trail so it was a nice inclined walk up to the top. Several places to stop and enjoy the view. Bathrooms at the top. Great start to any morning walk!

Best place to see all of bend

It is an enjoyable short hike to the summit with amazing vistas. Gets your heart rate up a bit but not difficult. I saw many shapes and sizes. Normally people can drive to the summit but due to this pandemic its closed off.

On this day that I went up there, there was a very local tribe doing the ceremonial dance of the rise of the star in the east. It was amazing how the more elder man was the one holding the bat . Prophecy maybe you never know. The one thing I do know is I was in the place and the time to capture this experience for myself and try to share it with others.

Beautiful place to soak in a very nice sunset. Great view of Bend with the different mountains in the horizon. No fee park too - what more can you ask ? So 5 stars for this location.

A great place to get a lay of the land. You can drive or hike to the top. On the weekends it tends to be a bit crowded at the top, but theres a lot of room for cars at the circle.The seating is good, the views are amazing, and theres TONs of info plaques.

An awesome view point to see Bend and the mountains covering Bend. Awesome sunset point. Less Parking spots..Go early. It gives details of the mountains which can be seen from there. Could see lot of locals hanging around. Everyone were pretty decent and I could over hear one of them explaining the mountain range.

A great hike and one of the most amazing veiws

Beautiful 360 degree views of Bend, the mountains, and surrounding area. Lots of parking, a playground for kids, and good place to hike with your dog. Smaller trails for shorter hikes are available. Main loop takes about an hour to get to the top and is a great, easy hike for all of the family.

Beautiful views from the top and amazing shots during sunset. However can get a bit crowded because of how beautiful it is and the ease of access. A local and tourist favorite. Good luck with parking and be mindful to stay out of others pictures.

Very nice place to view central oregon from. I love the kiosk in the middle that points out all of the visible landmarks in Central Oregon.

If youre in Bend, then you have to stop by Pilot Butte and check out the amazing view! You can see the entire town and all of the mountains

Excellent place to view the city of Bend and all mountains in the area! There is a cool thing at the top that shows you how far each mountain is from there. You can hike or drive to the top.

Great spot overlooking all of bend. little parking, though.

The gate to the summit drive is closed during winter and early spring, but it’s still possible to park at the trailhead (though it’s a little hard to find—keep an eye out for signs) and hike to the top.

Must see if your in Bend. There was a park ranger up there when we were there showing some of the rocks that can be found in the area.

Pilot Butte is a beautiful place to hike up in the summer and you can also drive up to the top to see the beautiful view faster!!!

I cant imagine anyone visiting Bend and not taking the time to visit this unusual and beautiful place. The view here is outstanding.

Spectacular 360° Mountainous Veiw!

I have a daily view from where I live (actually at the base) and everyday is a new adventure of the beauty of Gods creation.

Nice place to spend some time with family or friend. Maybe even have a picnic!
