The music is great for my taste, bit of classic tunes usually good ones. Nice and friendly... delicious food.. great whiskey. If In bend worth checking out! Bring you’re trippy side.

The lounge is a low key, calm place to hangout and talk with friends while having a drink. They food options weren’t great but the dish I had was tasty. I have heard this place gets packed and is more of a younger crowd but I did not get that impression. Well decorated and a nice spot close to the river.

Vaughn made me a custom Rosemary infused Gin fizz after taking time to explore ideas before he got busy. Amazing service and these bartenders are crushing it! Best birthday drink ever!

Stopped in for a quick cocktail and appetizer and was immediately impressed. Upscale atmosphere with excellent fresh made cocktails, large beer assortment, and delicious appetizers. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Super funky with lots of energy. This upstairs downstairs bar is super cozy. You need to be comfortable getting to know your table neighbors. But the bar staff is super friendly. We went there twice in one weekend and I would go there every time I get back to Bend

Great snack food and awesome drinks. Plus they have some board games to play downstairs and always some great videos that coincide with seasonal Sports the real kind like snowboarding mountain biking excetera. Great place to go Hendrix hear some music or and lounge and have a conversation. Theres some other bars are more tourist traps so you cant even talk because theyre too loud.

Well, mea culpa. My original review was for the wrong place! Oops!Velvet Lounge is awesome. Very cozy and romantic. We really appreciated the very *friendly* signage on the table that invited us to play a board game. And so we did! I even posted about it on Instagram. Didnt get a chance to try the food, but the drinks were quite tasty.

Best apps / happy hour bites in town. And also, great cocktails, and good music

Damn what a good cocktail. I love the area up the stairs; however, the place is packed shoulder to shoulder and can be tough to find a nice intimate spot.

Rude bartenders. No room to breathe. Limited menu. Expected tip after being rude to my wife on her birthday. (Literally said we didnt know how to tip) Do not recommend. Not from here. Came seeking a good time.

Happen place. Crowded, difficult to get to the bar to order a drink on second floor. Good cocktails. Good bacon wrapped apricot skewers and BLT sliders. Give it a try if in downtown Bend.

It seems to always be crowded which is a good sign. Their crafts and food are delicious. I tend to stray away though because I dont like the crowds, but if you are looking for an interesting atmosphere with quality cocktails- then this is the place to be. Just be prepared to pay your bill

The bar scene was comfortable and clean. We ordered a bunch of different drinks and appetizers. Drinks werent very strong but tasted good. Food was okay but not very plentiful. All in all Okay place to hangout.

Awesome atmosphere! This place definitely isnt roomy, but they sure pack an experience in a small two story bar. They had some super cheap beer options and had some very comfortable seating options. Bonus note: they play skateboard videos on their TVs!

Really nice atmosphere. Chill. Friendly staff. Probably not good for a large group. Drinks were ok but the food was great! Try the duck samosas or the eggo waffle sandwich. The duck samosas are in a flaky crust and the sweet chili dipping sauce really made it tasty.

Really great spot low-key, comfortable, great extreme sports entertainment and a very hip vibe. The bartenders are very personable good people from my experiences! Ill definitely be back.

This unique downtown gem is a great place to grab a drink any night of the week. Perfect for happy hour. Amazing atmosphere and great food to nosh on.

The staff, cocktails, and atmosphere are all reasons to come visit. It can get pretty packed since its a smaller bar and Im never really had much of the food here, but I have a few vegetarian friends who really like the tofu sliders though.They also have some of the better happy hour deals in town that rotate by day.

Great lounge for enjoying the company of friends while enjoying inspired flavor combinations in their unique beverages. Vegan and gluten free options are available here. The way the inside is decorated makes it feel larger that the space would seem. However, this place is popular and can be rushed after nearby events let out. Be aware if you are clostraphobic, visiting during these rushes may be uncomfortable.

The atmosphere is great. Felt like we were at home. Drinks are fresh and a little too good. We had the bacon wrapped apricots and they were incredibly good. Thanks for the great time.

Always a great atmosphere. While the space is a bit confined I never feel cramped. Cocktails are tasty and interesting and the staff is more than friendly.

I really enjoy this bar and the entire atmosphere. They gave tons of cocktail and beers and even some small snacks and plates. The seating is really cozy and there are games for large groups. The bartenders are nice and even when it gets busy they maintain pretty good service.

Good food and relaxing!

Its boarder line impossible to order or move through the bar when the place is packed. Drinks were good but not worth the wait and price. Im pretty sure my friends and I paid a cover so it was too late once we realized how crowded and sweaty it was. We waited in line for a solid 20 minutes before ordering our obligated post cover drink.

The Blue Velvet cocktail with house infused blueberry vodka is the bomb! Dont miss the bacon wrapped apricots and BLT sliders. Just looked at the menu again and there are so many other dishes I want to try now. Happy hour is very reasonable.

Met a bunch of friends at Velvet for after dinner drinks. Ordered the Barrel of Peril...yum. We sat upstairs and of course it was a very busy and crowded Saturday night. I was probably much to old (50) to be their but the friends we were with are younger and we fit in pretty well. Unless with a group of younger friends this would not be my place but they were packed and its a hip cool hangout.

Awesome happy hour from 5-7. Really good appetizers/small plates (no meals here). They have delicious cocktails and a small selection of craft beer on tap (more in cans/bottles).

Good house cocktails and positive vibes from the bartenders and bouncers. I also like the couches. Only downside is it can get a little crammed. Not usually an issue if you go a little earlier in the night

We were looking for some quality cocktailsIn bend. This place seemed to fit the bill. Went in got a cock tail of the list. Both were good but served in a larger format so the drinks seemed weak for the volume. After a short wait we tried to order 2 hemingway daiquiris. A classic recipe, only has 3 ingredients and all were within my line of sight and the joker behind the bar nearly laughed me off for seemingly asking for a basic blended ice version. Amerture move for such a highly rated place.
