I went out after the snowfall on Sunday, 11/25/18 for a hike and covered about half of the trails there. It was very well-maintained and a beautiful quiet place once you get away from Newburg Road and the car noise. I highly recommend checking it out for those that have not yet explored what the Conservation District has to offer.

Its a forest preserve with no facilities, just paths through nature! Tracks of a variety of animals: deer, coyotes, racoons, etc.

Great little nature place owned by the Boone County Conservation. Many well groomed trails with river access.
