Nice and clean park. It has a basketball court and a tennis court.

5 star for the nostalgia. Other than that its a normal park. Theres the Carpenter House right there that ive never seen open in my entire life.

Its an isolated, fun park thats right next to the riverbed/bike path

I love going here and run the dogs, they have good volleyball courts, plenty of parking but one thing I dont like about this park is it is becoming to be a haven for marijuana smokers, you can smell marijuana while playing basketball or volleyball.

They are doing construction right now for a water filtration project so the lawn is all tore up. They commonly forget to turn on the lights for night softball games but on the positive its big and lots of people go for different events. Theres some fun fitness class that meetsa couple times a week in the evenings, I think. Two playgrounds, close to each other. There is a staff who have kids programs/games there. Parking is adequate. unfortunately, not the parks fault, this part of bellflower is really stinky. Also lots of people who do not have places to live indoors live at the riverbed which is next to this park. And teens hang out here, there is a very small skate park next to it. Also the 91 fwy runs across the southern border.

One of my favorite parks. Always quiet and theres plenty to do. Exercise and enjoy the morning sunrise.

Construction is presently going on for improvements to a good park. Its off the beaten pack making it a good place for picnics and families. Being your own barbecue pit though. Plenty of parking spaces most days except holidays.

The playground is really great for the children, and the place is clean as well. The restroom, I assume is cleaned regularly since it looked rather clean for a park restroom. Its especially great for barbecues!

It is clean, grass is so dense and green it is being remodeled. But wow the smell of the horse next to us. Very strong. But nice to hear the the horse are that close.

It is a great park, it is a family park. Plenty of parking, benches and places to bar b q.easy in and out. Baseball area,restrooms.

Really relaxing park. Even when familys have parties going on, you wont feel bothered. Everyone pretty much keeps to themselves

The park is under construction so wait a few months to see its beauty restored.

Park is a nice place to spend the day, week. But, the only thing we dont like at all is the fact that the restrooms are closed too early Sundays when a lot people still in enjoying of the park.Also, the tennis courts almost all the time are not open neither Sundays or weekdays.

It was a little run down but the entire park is being reconstructed. I am looking forward to seeing the finished product.

A huge portion of the park that faces Flora Vista is torn up & cordoned off by caution tape for some sewage drainage project. All of the toys are gone, as well as the wading pool. To be fair, I havent been here in a while, so they may have been gone before this. The community center is still there, as well as the tennis courts. I could not tell if the baseball diamond(s) that were in the southwest portion of the park are still there & if so, open, or not. There was some cool looking fitness equipment on the east side of the community center/office building, but that was about it. Not the same Caruthers park my friends & I used to get chased out of for riding our horses thru back in the day. I hope they bring all the cool stuff (like the rocketship & wading pool) back. I was kind of disappointed. This was always one of my favorite parks when I was growing up.

Nice little park, right next to SG River. Currently undergoing renovations.

July 16th went to the park with couple kids siblings got to the park and there was only like 15-20 people there and cut the lights off corns on Tonio Burgos son Thomas and keep the lights in summer time at 10 I hate the mayor for not letting match right now and turn the lights off at 10 I have a scheduled it gets me home by 7 outside stay with the kids and 9 July July 16th there were among the park at least 25 people shut the power off parts for that not extending the timer until 10:00 for summertime night

This park is my neighbor.. I have to put up with the drug users, drunks and people having sex in their cars. No police in neighboring streets to deter. Good park.. No parking..

I played a softball game here and it was really fun. Very nice field. Even pitching mound for me to pitch off of, park was nice and clean

When our family moved to Bellflower in 1984 I enjoyed playing basketball here also tennis and a little racquetball later they added the fitness center ...& kept it pretty nice but it gets incredibly busy on the weekends with many fiestas and quinceaneras ..

Warning; there are kids during the week that ride dirt bikes on the bike trail grazing cyclist on the San gabriel river bike trail. two kids riding on a motorcycle nearly ran a cyclist off the trail into the river bed and the passenger chuckled at the cyclist December 26 5pm. there are other kids usually two to three dirt bikes riding the bike trail recklessly. Times are from 4pm to 7pm these kids ride between the artesia freeway and rosecrans on the bike trail. Bike riders use caution.

Great place to workout or take kids. Kids need to be a little on older side, but still fun. Open fields are nice. You can do a lot.

The park is under construction so there are limited spaces to roam. Approach this park with caution

What I loved about this park is it has fitness equipment! Which I thought was really cool...but what I didnt love was that the playground was really high up from the ground! Not really safe for little ones, and I do not like the woodchips either. When a kid falls down it hurts and they can get splinters, which happened to my 2 yr old nephew

Great park in the daytime but not so much after dark. Id recommend avoiding the place after sundown.

Love this park, I workout in the mornings its great they have workout equipment. People are very friendly and theres always workers keeping park clean.

Right next to the bike path and river bed, so I jog here with my kids all the time. There are two big play areas and a workout area.
