The front desk is so amazing and theyre so friendly, helpful, and patient. Lili who helped me in varies departments, was so awesome! Great work crew
Hi, Ive been a member for a few years. They have always kept the facility clean but now during Covid times they have stepped up the cleaning and the place looks cleaner than a hospital every time I go there. Now during Covid they have group classes, swimming pools open, tennis courts available plus ample shady outdoor space for workouts if you dont want to be inside. I am very glad I am a member here because I am able to be working out and going to the gym unlike so many other people. Also, I noticed Samena treats their workers well and have tried very hard to not lay off staff during these tough times.
Been attending for a few years now. I swim laps for my back and hips. Love the big indoor pool though many swim outside all year too. wonderful management and employees. I love that I can have a private shower and private dressing room. Well worth the money! I also love that it opens early mornings.. I get up early to get in and out before traffic and crowds. I would be there at 4:30am if they opened that early! ;-)
Cancelled our membership because we were tired of being confined to 1 small portion of the indoor pool every time we went, while 2/3 of the pool was dedicated to lane swimming that was hardly used. Not sure why on busy weekends you make the family swimmers suffer. I put a suggestion in the box and never heard anything from management and nothing changed. Good riddance.
Me and my 4 year old toddler are learning swimming in samena. They are awesome. We spend quality time as a family. A big shout out to Ben, he is a great teacher. We highly recommend samena!!
Honestly not for special kids, they wont bother much to teach special need kids, I feel they treat special kids like garbage.... very disappointing... they insists either to go for private classes or adaptive classes which will attract more money....EVAN SONG... need a lot to learn to treat special kids... he need serious trainig...
Impossible to see the wall at night when flip-turning, but at least they have good blocks? Also beware of occasional heater problems.
Good place and now lot of crowd. Their booking options are irritating. Every month we need to book and that also not sure we will get spot on next month. They should give yearly booking options.
This is one of the best places I have ever seen. I put my son in pre school. They take good care of him. The ambiance is great. The timings are perfect for family swim. I recommend this for all family members
Its a community swim center with now than just a local community feel to it! They have a heated indoor pool (25m long), a heated outdoor pool (25 yards long), an outdoor wading pool, and an indoor hot tub. Each adult locker room has their sauna. Family/kids locker rooms are separated from adult changing rooms. Theres also an upstairs small gym and outdoor tennis court!! Theres lots to do and lots of activities like a movie the pool!
Wonderful place. The staff is awesome. My kids love this place. They could use a bigger hot tub and the fitness area is not awesome. Pools are very clean and not over chlorinated. Great place!!!
Samena is the quintessential neighborhood swim club. It offers something for all ages for water activities and has a workout gym too. But most of all this is a great family swim club that offers excellent swim lessons for your kids to an excellent swim team as they progress and want to compete. They have been teaching kids how to swim for over 60 years! It also offers before and after school activities and a great pre-school for the younger children. Summertime at the club is the best place for families with their children.
Fun place for kids and adults of all ages to hang out and play. The facility, although not very well maintained, has polite and helpful staff. There is one outdoor pool and one indoor, along with an outdoor little-kid pool. There are hot-tubs and a gym. Good for parties and other events.
Ive had a family membership for several years and visit at least 3 times a week to use the indoor pool. The indoor pool is available year round and is kept quite warm. I swim in the evenings (after 7pm) and the lanes arent very crowded for doing lap swim. Half the pool is open at that time for people (mostly kids) to play games and just have fun.I generally swim a few miles when I go while my kids play and then we warm up in the hot tub before cleaning up and going home. I go about 150 times a year and the facility is generally well maintained.
Love the Salt water kids pool! One of my favorite places to go during the Summer
Less price. Good learning for freshers
One of the best swimming clubs in bellevue. The staff is very competent are are good at their work. Its so popular that if you miss the first day of enrollment, you will hardly get your preferred slot. My kid love the place and the instructors. Shes had atleast 4 different instructors in as many months but every new instructor is better than the other.. the management and customer service could be improved a bit, but apart from it I am lucky to have found this club for my kid.. 5 stars..
Nice facilities and mostly friendly helpful staff. Sometimes the online and printed schedules dont match with reality. Also need some work on the tennis courts. All in all though, good place to workout.
Wonderful pool facilities with hot tub. Indoor AND outdoor pools!
Way too expensive! The swimming pool is heated but that is its only good part. Everything else is a complete ripoff! Full of screaming kids, bad smelling air, wet carpets, and bandaids in the water. Disgusting. Never go here. My friends always drag me along and I hate every second of it because it is disgusting. Overpriced GARBAGE
Not a fan. I am only giving this establishment 2 stars because its okay to go here when its quiet and with my dad. Other then that, this place is god awful, and the lifeguards are either to shy or just plain mean. And whenever my friend drags me here, its always on the worst day. Not great
Fun place to go and spend a good time with the family It is clean and the staff is really friendly. The gym is nice and has several workout stations.
Not fancy, and very family friendly. Both indoor and outdoor pools. We like to bring dinner to eat on the outside patio by the pool.
Great place for a family gym membership. Both outdoor and indoor pools. Outdoor pool is great during the summer.
Great swimming club for my kids. The pool has warm water throughout the year. Reasonable member price for the whole family!
Amanda is great! She always trays to help and organizes classes guided by familys preferences. My kids love this classes and their teachers.
Gave 1 Star as no option to give 0 star :-(pros: Only for members, completely biased and worst service.Cons: If you are planning to enroll due to cheap price its nothing but stupidity. Refer below calculation to understand more clearly.6 kids per instructor for 30 mins = 5 mins per kid * 2 days in a week = 10 mins per weekSo totally 40 mins per month. (Money 130 $)Pro sport club: 2-3 kids per instructor for 30 mins = 10 mins per kid * 1 day in week = 10 mins.So totally 40 mins per month. (Money 90$).They will first charge money without any confirmation, then wait for 10 -15 days and then ask you to change your schedule/Cancel.If you really care about your kids swimming sessions never get fooled by price and days.
Nice little club. It has tennis courts, an outside and indoor pool, snack bar, a playground, and other activities.
Not good coaches. Total waste of money and time.
I go there swimming. Water is warmer than pro club. And I also like the no-frill style here.
Nice looking buiding as i passed.
My son had swimming classes with 2 instructors and they were very good. But the management and scheduling is a total disaster. For example, i called to asked about the instructor, the front desk doesnt know. I need to come in to find out. If a instructor doesnt show up in the day of the class, they dont notify you. Such waste of my time to plan and come in to find out that the class was cancelled.
Indoor pool, outdoor pool and a toddler pool. There is also a small gym. My daughter loves coming here to swim.
Great place for swim lessons
Good environment to learn swimming.Everything is good here except they change trainers sometimes during a session window
My daughter goes here every summer and winter school is out have a great program Ive been going here since I was young
We been members for over 5 years the Club keeps going down hill the hot tub is All WAYS Closed due to they are to cheap to fix the hot tub the right way .The Outdoor pool is closed at least 1 day a week, in the Summer due to swim meets its not about the members its about them making money for there swim, meets .Parking sucks in the Summer due to pee wee basebase So,when, there are games good luck finding parking .Mens locker rooms need to be updated its kinda like your locker room in Hi school .Staff is nice its clean The tennis courts are cracked and need to,be redone .If you want a outdoor pool its great When its open I say swim team use the indoor poolSo the outdoor pool is closed at 230 TUE and Thrusdays until the end of July for swim meets I say refund the members since we cant use the pool on nice days like this in,Summer I give 1 star ..Its one step below the YMCA
I have very bad experience with One of the Instructor name Mark. His attitude and misbehavior shocked my son and me he asked to us come at 6.30 instead of his regular timings at 7pm, and he started arguing with me that he was communicated to me from previous class. In reality he spoke to someone else and without admitting his mistake he started arguing take your son and I alreaday communicated. When I reported Samena administrator all he want is he wanted to say sorry for his next class. Does this punishment is good enough for him for his indecent behavior? I cant take it!!! if a person who doesn;t know how to speak to kid and parents so I am dropping of my entire classes with Samena until Management come and fire him for couple of month to realize with his bad nature.
RelaxingA good place to bring your friends and eat pizza
Great place. Very friendly. Part of the neighborhood.
Swim instructors are great, the facility is in decent shape. Not expensive.
Something for everyone
Going here for the swim classes. Like the facilities they provide. Seems a lil expensive than Bellevue YMCA. But love the classes though.
Be super carful when signing for it. I paid fulled for one full year, but unfortunately I could not attend the last 6 Months of it. Then I got a bill with some hundred of dollars because the membership just renew by itself. ( probably my fault for not reading the small letters in the contract) that is ok but what I am mad about was that, I explained my situation and they made me pay for something I never used after all. I call that, robbery! So so so so disappointed, Im definitely not coming back!BTW, in the other one, The same thing happened on the PRO-Club in Bellevue, but they did understood my situation and waive the balance for me.
Great go here every week to swim laps well maintained
Club is kinda janky but it works. Good pools, great aftercare program for kids, and decent gym for working out.
My son attends preschool at Samena. He is having so much fun there! The teachers are very warm and can really relate to children. They spend lots of time after work preparing creative projects. My son looks forward to school, and he loves his daily swim class too. The afternoon class has very low child/teacher ratio. Another perk is that I am forced to work out while watching my son swim or play at the playground. I am so glad that i found thi gem. Id highly recomend it.The front desk staff and swimming teachers are very warm and helpful. The fitness room doesnt have as many equipment as Proclub, but the membership is much cheaper and the pool is less crowded. i like watching him swim while running on a treadmill
Best place on the east side,,,
I mainly utilize the fitness center and unlike mainstream places like LA Fitness the weight machines are normally free and you dont have to work around other people.
Do you want your child to fear from water? Bring him to Ethan... he will leave no stones unturned to ensure you toddler fears water, and never learns to swim.
Great swim club with indoor and outdoor pools.
Great fun. Reasonably priced.
Great local swim and fitness club
So good
Friendly staff, not too crowded, and fun for the family
Great place for swim and activities.

Horrible customer services and unpredictable swimming classes schedule that changes each month. Really dirty place. Stay away!
Fun
Overall good but can be better
The best health club on Eastside
Great place
I love swimming
Good location to learn swimming
The only thing is that they had to close the pool for half an hour because someone pooped in it.
Nice yet old and crowded
Awesome
Always friendly and clean.
We are member and there are many activities here
Just okay. The facilities are old and staffs courtesy is random depending on day or luck.
Awesome place to learn swimming
Family friendly place
Amazing every time!
Clean pools
Great place to bring the kiddies
