Great place to live before and after the flood. This all ages community is very family oriented and all the upgrades being done are appreciated. Love the staff. Good rental rates and reasonable lot rent.
I wasn’t a resident of Green Acres. To the neighbors who lost everything in the March 2019 flood, I definitely feel and share your pain and your loss. But one thing is for certain. I will never return to or live in the same area “ a flood zone “ that caused my demise and losing 17 years of my life in contaminated raw sewage which was and is still very traumatizing mentally and psychologically! My mortgage company finally went to confirm what I practically had to draw a picture to them for them to see that my home is uninhabitable and non repairable. Personally I feel that if I were to return to live there again that I would need my head examined. In other words once a flood zone, always a flood zone!
Looks like a nice place. What is the pet policy and what dogs are allowed and how many?
I have lived at Green Acres since August 2018. I lost my home to the flood but Strive Communities was wonderful to all their residents. We decided to come back and now we own our 2018 double wide. The flood was a blessing im disguise. Management is super nice.
I lost everything I owned in that flood last year. The military base and a few others knew it was going to happen. All kinds of sinkholes on the properties. Just a tragic. They even kept our deposit. Its s poor location to live and its haunted.
THIS MESSAGE IS TO MY GREENACRES FLOOD FAMILYI would like to start off by saying to each and everyone that did live in this community that have lost your homes, myself included, due to this flood March 2019. I am sorry to you and yours. I understand how I have been feeling about the whole situation and it honestly sucks in general its heartbreaking, its sad, its a ton of hurt, it is something I never would have thought would really have happened.. its a horrible feeling to that we know longer have a place to call home. We did own our home and have been there for 17 years. I couldnt have asked for a better neighbor (I love Chuck and Brenda just like they are apart of my family) I did live around some of the best people you could ask to have as neighbors. We did watch out for each other! I can honestly say we have had some of the best memories and great times there! I wish the BEST to everyone effected by this flood. We were strong before and need to come out of this even stronger. So to the Green Acres flood family everyone keep your heads up!
Only giving a star because I have to. Stay away from here. We lived there for 10 years. Always paid our rent on time. We never had any complaints on us. We moved out in May of 2018 and gave one month notice like we were supposed to. Now here we are 8 months late and they sent me to collections but the office cant tell me what for because there is nothing in my file. I have contacted the collection company and am disputing this. These people are money hungry crooks. Steer clear of them.
I have lived here since I was 12 (June 2002). I have lived here on my own since December 2015. It is an amazing place and like a small town. Everyone always watches out for each other.
This MHP is completely uninhabitable after the flood of 2019. Over 170 homes are being sent to the trash. People are trying to recover what they can, which isnt much. Porches had been torn from the mobile homes, cars were under water, lawns are nothing but mud. It has the feel of a ghost town with zombies. Horrible, horrible sight to see.
Lived here for several years and now with this new management/ company its gone down hill bad. They say they will fix an issue and never does. People are right when they say its a horrible place to live. I have had to calla news station for them to even fix a problem and thats only because the news station called them. Houses are falling apart they owm but yet there bringing brand new houses on. Fix whats wrong first them bring houses in. No matter how many months you have gone to them about water pouring in your yard from underground they do not care to hurry and fix it. Even if its a health hazard. Was called green acres. Horrible place and people. When the flood came in March, the people worked there came in and took my kids piggy banks and many tools and etc.
They dont fix the roads. There are pot holes everywhere. Basically bottom out every time you go over a bump. They tell you to fix your yard and give you less than 24 hours to even do it...and apparently having a broken blind in one room is also a big nono....basically your house needs to be perfect in order for you to live here. And they have horrible communication. They all leave the office before it even closes, most of the time around 12. If I could give a 0, I would. I dont understand why a broken blind is such a community violation....it is in my house. Half of these houses are worse then mine and nothing is being done about them...
Rent has gone up, we now pay for our water, sewer, garbage, theyve been singling our home out cause we own it, with written forms of eviction if little community infractions. Its gotten rediculous with their timing, cause if you drive through the park, there are homes that look way more unkempt than the little things they have been trying to get us for. We pay our rent on time, and this is what we get in return, so cant wait to get out of here.
Not exactly my kind of place but to each their own. The only thing I liked was Crystal, in the office. What a sweetheart
Wrost place I lived in a long time. There management sucks told use nothing about a deposit and we gave them a check for 1,500 thinking it would be two months of rent .then out of the blue we had to give them a 650,00 dollars deposit and it took them about a month and a half to give use a lease.in the middle of winter I thought the water heater was out so I called the emergency maintenance number and left a few messages never did hear back so thank goodness the heater was not out.SO THAT IS JUST A COUPLE THINGS LIVI AT GREEN ACRES NOT A VERY GOOD PLACE TO TRY SND LIVE..
Getting better. But still a safe place and welcoming.
Ive seen minimum maintenance roads after a rain storm in better shape than their streets.
Crystal was an awesome manager then green acres was bought by a new company. Replaced the regular management, fired most of the employees that made it and awesome place to live. Then went to forcing out low income and residents already there. Raised rent, water, lot rent, evicted a lot of people.Anyone reading this please understand that staying away is your best option. Our family is split up..got evicted and to save yourself from this horrible experience please stay away from green acres. If I could give it a negative start rating I would.
I have family and friends that live there. Management is working to make sure the mobile home park stays clean and kept up.
Lots of nice trailers. But very dirty. And lots of old runned down mobile homes.
We privately own our home and in the past month they have tore up the end of our driveway leaving it gravel, and broke out water completely we havent had water in over a week and they still expect full rent. definately WOULD NOT RECCOMEND.
The new owners are money hungry. Ive lived her for 18 yrs. I now hate it. Worst place to move to. Stay Away. Ignorant people.
Love The Staff Very Friendly & Nice Community.
The Manager Penny is the rudest person I have ever meet. I do think the owners should get rid of her cause i wanted to look at three trailers for sale and in office the service man asked bout the trailers and she said Im not doing anything right now thats why that door was supposed to be locked. Well I know that they have a few trailers that they are losing money on cause they need alot of work and are empty. So Owners should look into getting rid of her.
I have lived in the trailer park for over 14 years. It is a ok place but was bought out from the Menke family and now owned by i cant even remember there name. The changes they have made have lost alot of the tenant in the trailer court. I hope to move real soon. I am not the only ones who are thinking about living. Seversl of our neighbors are concerying leaving all so. It is really to bad because when i first movef there it eas s fantadtic place to live. All of our neighborshave been fantastic. We all looked out for each other. We are mostly still there but things are alot different. Wish it could get back to what it use to be like as I think of some of my neighbors as family and it sure would hurt if they leave. It would be like lossing part of my family.
