Great shop in the Bellevue neighbor of Seattle! Definitely a MUST visit when you are in town. Fiona does an awesome job meticulously maintaining all her scapes and carries a lot of rare stem plants and wabi-kusa items. Keep up the awesome work!

This is a cool little store that showcase some pretty nice planted aquariums. But its mostly a gallery, less of a aquarium store. Since all of the products are very overpriced even to other local shops. I think its business are focusing on something other than retail, maybe its aquarium service? Its a nice gallery, but not a good shop to buy from.

Aquaria is a beautiful, cozy, little store that focuses on Aquascaping plants and supplies. There is so much here in a small space that just lets your imagination run wild. Fiona is a wealth of knowledge and always willing to help. She carries a vast selection of diverse and unusual plants to fit any of your planted tanks or aquascape designs, whether it has CO2, high-light, or neither. She holds a variety of workshops as well if youre just trying to get started. Am never disappointed when I visit the store.

Fiona is super nice and very polite. And her store is beautiful and well cared for. This is an ADA style store so the focus will be aquascape and nature themed. She does have a small selection of rare fish and invertebrates for sale. But the highlight here is the aquascaping. I love how she layed out the store, minimalist style but with plenty to look at. Ask questions about what you like and she is happy to provide information. I went to find odd plants and was not let down, there are some rare rare finds in her tanks. Well worth the drive to go and visit.

Have visited many times over the years. Consistent high quality and design! NOT for the average fish tank owner but those interested in aquascaping and planted tanks. This store is dedicated to aquascaping which is on a whole other level. Aquascaping is for those with a real passion. To me, this store is more reminiscent of an art gallery. The store sells ADA products, natural materials, plants, and a few fish. Many of the plants and a few of the fish are rare and exotic-- you will have a hard time finding them elsewhere. Another reason this store is so special. The other reason this store is special is because of the amazing detail Fiona, the owner, puts into her art. Anyone who visits her store can see the results of her hard work.Fiona also has an online store on which you can access most of her inventory as well as sign up for workshops.Workshops are in-depth and professional. Some examples, learn to set up a Nano tank, Wabi-kusa, or delve into particular styles like Iwagumi or Driftwood. For the serious hobbyist or beginners alike looking to get into the hobby, the classes are well worth the time and money. If you are interested in aquascaping at all this place is a MUST to stop by!

Underwater artistry - breathtaking designs! Amazingly beautiful, bright, and soothing to look at. I really liked the aquarium designed with massive amounts of aquatic plants, pieces of driftwood sticking out the top, and a school of tiny silver fish - it was astonishing. She offers workshops too. This is not your ordinary aquarium shop - you have to see it to believe it.

Fantastic selection of top quality aquatic plants, driftwood, stones, tools, everything you need to aquascape at top tier, especially for true nano setups. Found several rare plant species for sale here, at very fair prices. The fish selection is fairly small but the species as very special and hard to obtain. The shop owner is lovely as well.

This is hands down the best aquarium store in the Greater Seattle area. The owner is friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The tanks on display are simply stunning. She also carries the best stones for aquascaping. I hope she gets more support from the hobbiest community here!

Phenomenal designs and incredibly detailed tanks! The store owner puts a huge amount of work into each tank she has for sale, and as a result, they each look like flawless pieces of art. She was also extremely friendly in explaining each setup and the very specific care instructions. If you are looking for a high-end tank that simply cant be compared to what you would find elsewhere, definitely stop by Aquaria.

Very high end beautiful display with full CO2 setups on many of the tanks. I do not believe they sell the fish or shrimp and if they do the selection is extremely small and the largest fish they had were flying fox and otocinclus. They do have some nano rimless tanks for sale as well as ADA substrate and other rocks and wood for aquascaping as well as tank additives for plant growth. Definitely an aquascaping and planted tank focused store. If you are looking to buy fish, this place is most likely not for you.

Excellent connection to the world of nature aquarium and Takashi Amano! The owner lived in Japan for over 20 years and had met the founder of Aqua Design Amano. Her entry into the International Aquatic Plants Layout Contest hosted by ADA, was recognized as a winning work amongst hundreds worldwide. A very knowledgable source for planted aquaria and a great opportunity and convenience for demanding hobbyists as well as those interested in taking their planted tanks to the next level. Wonderful little shop! Hope to see it grow along with her beautiful tanks!
