This place has such a huge amount of local history inside, they are always changing up the exhibits and there is new things to see each time. So much of their donations of old cool stuff is from descendants of early local ranchers and farmers. Everything is just so cool, they have so much that their place is just full to bursting
Very well done! Full of history, tons of hands-on antiques and fun for the kids. Be sure to see everything outside. The cabin and geographic center of the United States is a great photo opportunity. Sign the guest registry and be sure to spend a minute talking to the bearded man who is like a living encyclopedia!
Nice little town and Museum to spend a few hours in, and glad we decided to drive out to Belle Fourche to get away from the mask-less crowds elsewhere.
What can you say, just so cool..the old geographic center Country, until better methods of surveying came to be, but only off by a few miles, good displays of the history of the area...stop by every time we are in the area
This place sucks and is very misleading
The Tri-State Muesem is the geographic center of the nation; a history lesson, War Memorial Park, and challenging Disc Golf Course. The staff at the visitor center are knowlegeable, cheerful, outgoing and helpful. Clean, well-maintained park. Handicap accessible parking and bathrooms. Interesting fun place for kids and adults and dogs. 5 stars.
Often times, free is better. Definitely the case here. Hands down, one of the most amazing museums Ive ever been to. Gladly donated, and would visit again (so much to see, so little time).
Definitely worth a stop over to glance at the displays. Museum entry is by donation.
Love the creativity of the displays. Unique items that are not in most museums. Clean and orderly.
Nice muse. Opens at 9
Closed on Monday. Saw the compass though.
Worth a visit, very friendly staff and the displays were created with care.
Great.
Love exhibits and the Spaulding cabin
