I like how there is usually no one here but things definitely need to be updated!
A peaceful wildlife park featuring nature trails that weave through the forest & wetlands with native animals. See ducks take over parking lots and enjoy their company.#wildlife #ducks #oregon #beaverton#iphone #unfilterred
The tennis court and basketball structure definitely needs to be maintained; both of which are inaccessible due to a lock. The table nearby facing the wetlands would comfortably fit four people. However, despite the small area and lack of activities, I feel thats what makes this place so amazing. Due to it being a little difficult to find, there is not a lot of traffic which allows the nearby wildlife to prosper; giving me plenty of opportunities to relax and take pictures of the beautiful landscape.
Right in downtown Beaverton Oregon along 217 and Nimbus Parkway is a great Wetland for birds. Most of the waterfall are gone up to the Arctic area for the summer, the rest assured they will be back. There is also a black-capped Night Heron that frequents one specific area. Easy to find. Well, he hides well but hes always in the same location.
My fav birding place
This is a gem in the heart of suburbia with plenty of interesting birds in and around the two ponds. All sorts of ducks, herons, and a pair of bald eagles can all be spotted on a regular basis. There are no facilities or service here, so I really cant give it more than a Poor-Fair rating in those categories, which might drag down the score. I wish Google would include N/A as an option.
This is basicly a small park within the Greenway park. Sorta strange the its classified as its own park.
Not too many people mostly wildlife.
Wet land here
Good ducks
