Im glad there is a senior center for the citizens but I miss it being Lofinos north and Lofinos south back when the BeaveValley shopping center on Seejay was still alive... Movie theater and everything !!!
Beavercreek Senior Center discriminates against anyone they want for any reason they want, no matter how unfair it is. On the regular route bus, the guy who helps you to your seat, etc. vandalizes and breaks your things. He makes a spectacle out of trying to embarrass and humiliate you in front of the other riders on the bus. They force you to have to arrange a individual ride, and when they do and you schedule to be at a store for 2 hours, they only allot you 1/2 of an hour causing you to have to rush around like a chicken with your head cut off, because you then do Not have enough time to do your shopping properly. So, if you go to two places it costs you $6 to go to two places and you only get one half of an hour at each place. When I paid $35 one year for a membership, I was treated so badly at the luncheon (they would only let me have a tiny bit of food because I only wanted vegetables, while they made a spectacle out of going around individually to everyone else at the table I was sitting at and gave them seconds and even thirds. Yet, they wouldn’t let me have any more food at all. I never went to another single luncheon. The $35 was a total waste of my money and a complete rip-off. Twice, when I got a ride to go to two stores each of those two days; both times they did not schedule the time allotment I had requested. I am a very busy elderly disabled lady who doesn’t have the time, nor the money to waste like that. If you complain to the manager, you are treated even worse than you were already being treated. Too many of them do not care about being fair, if anything they seem to relish in doing the opposite. I would not recommend the Beavercreek Senior Center to anyone, unless you are the type of person who bullies others. In that case, you would fit right in with the ones there that seem to get a kick out of being abusive to anyone they don’t take a shine to.
The Beavercreek Senior Center is the perfect place to make friends, exercise, participate in numerous activities, share a meal, read, or just relax. It has something for any senior. It also offers affordable transportation to those who can no longer drive themselves. It operates with a small paid staff and many senior volunteers. Its the perfect place get away from a lonely, empty home and lead an active lifestyle after retiring.
