Ive been here twice now and each time Ive been glad I went. The inside area is not the biggest and can get crowded easily. With that said, its never been too crowded for my tastes. Both times we were easily able to find a table to sit down and relax. They do have shuffleboard (best bar game around) and a decent selection of the standard and craft beer.If youre looking for a dive bar without the grunge, look no further. Thirstys is your place.

Kinda small. Good place to hangout and drink with friends. Go solo and meet new friends. This crowd will usually chat with anyone. Very welcoming. No discrimination here! Has an outside area too for smokers.

I enjoy bartenders & Wi-Fi for customers. A lot regulars customers are nice although all they talk about baseball and football, I dont understand ether of them sports.

Its tight. Need to build on although smoking covered in back. Most ppl hang out there. Needs more tables outside. Always busy! No pool tables tho. Drank Shiner and was always good and cold!

This bar has a different feel than the others in Beaumont. It feels old school. The bartenders are great conversationalist and they tend to entertain. The mixed drinks are on the strong side. Its a nice place to get away from the usual and have a drink.

I love Thirstys. It is fairly low key, and the bartenders are great. Sometimes there is live music, and if not there is a TouchTunes jukebox so you can play music from an app on your phone.I like the back patio area but it fills up pretty quickly. Youve got to be lucky to snag a spot.

Myself and others have experienced poor managerial decisions made by the bar staff. I recently had a hand physically laid on me by staff, as did a friend. It should never come that. The staff needs to learn how to properly defuse a situation. I wont be going back.

This has been my dive for years and the o ly thing Id change is the dimensions of the joint. A little bigger to avoid awkward elbows and drunk spasms would be primo.
