For a public course you cant beat Santa Maria. Pretty course, good bit of water hazard. The practice facility is great. There is a normal range (no short net), several short game areas for chipping, putting, bunker play.Nice staff as well

My home course to play. Great layout and almost always in great shape. Just added some mats to the driving range when it is wet. Good practice area

Good little muni. Staff was great. Course in great shape. Greens were great. Great practice facility. Sand is excellent. Some of the holes are kinda close. You make the turn away from clubhouse. They do have halfway house but kinda limited. I would say a one must play if in the area.

The course is in great shape. Construction on hole 5, playing a 60 yd par 3. Greens a little bumpy but putts stayed online for the most part. Excellent value!

Wonderful Pro staff. We were there with a group of 20 beginner to advanced. They were very informative for the putting and driving lesson. Good looking course

I visit Baton Rouge on business and always make a point to play Santa Maria. Awesome layout, well manicured and a Robert Trent Jones design for ~$35...You gotta play it!
