Perfect day for yoga in the park. The breeze, the sounds and the squirrels were just amazing. Tina was an awesome instructor. Ive been doing yoga for years and she has become one of my favorite instructors. So thorough and gentle. Will definitely be doing yoga in the park again.
This is a wonderful art space with fresh perspectives on old and new mediums. The City Park setting makes it a wonderful place to visit and the refreshed historic building creates a sense of welcome and calm. The only challenge, this space fills quickly when used for events.
Fantastic shows all the time. They do fun events all the time. Its in a gorgeous park and is a venue available for weddings or music! Swing by, seriously.
First Wednesdays are fantastic. So are the rest of the days, but the new exhibitors presence adds some spice.
Honestly, a great place to visit. Very quiet. The art is spectacular. The employees were helpful. I love the fact that you can come and take pictures. I had to do a research paper on an upcoming artist and being able to take pictures made my presentation that much better.
Very nice little gallery. I would say that Baton Rouge Rouge Gallery is one more hidden gems that the Capital City has to offer. One Love
Movies and music on the lawn shouldnt be missed. Wonderful evening under the stars in a manicured lawn with new friends just waiting to make your acquaintance. Use your imagination and figure out silent images with inspiration from the music of a live band in the background. Dont forget the wine n cheese!
This is probably the most adventuresome gallery in Baton Rouge. They manage to cultivate some of the most interesting artists in the area for shows here. And then theres the Surreal Salon event. Quite nice!I also enjoy their Movies & Music on the lawn in which they pair a silence movie with a local music group to produce a one-of-a-kind evening. Highly recommended! The First Wednesday openings are a treat. Live music, great kibble, cool adult beverages, and an appreciative audience. Whats not to like?

This is a great gallery for a leisurely visit. It is one of the oldest artist cooperatives in the country and is very well curated. It is the home of an Art-O-Matic vending machine which is a lot of fun all in its own. This group of people does a great job with their events and programming throughout the year. Cultural gem!
Good art, good food, good people.
