Love this place. They have a Japanese Garden and a Windmill. This place has incredible fall colors. It is an amazing place for photographers. If you have a chance go here you wont regret it.

My 2 year old loves this thing! Weve never gone inside it, but the area is beautiful just by the river. Bike paths that go along the river, one that goes over to the Japanese Gardens, it really is a beautiful area. Lots of geese, though, if thats not your thing

What a beautiful place to run walk cycling and explore nature

Beautiful restored windmill with a fascinating history as to how where and when it was moved to this picturesque location. On rare occasions you may even get to see it spinning away, a truly amazing sight to behold. Tours are available.

Rare opportunity to visit and tour interior of a working windmill.From May through September, you can visit Fabyan Windmill at its current location on the banks of the Fox River. Docents are on hand to enhance your experience on a self tour-or, you can join a docent led tour.Enter the windmill from its unique basement foundation and then climb up 3 levels to the top! Stairs are steep-similar to a ships-and may be difficult for those of compromised physical ability.If you make it to the top you can walk around outside on platform that surrounds the windmill and can get very close to the silent whirring blades. Note that it takes a minimum of 10mph wind to drive the 4 huge blades of the windmill so, choose a windy day!The park that Fabyan Windmill lies on is beautiful! A bike paths passes by, a covered large picnic pavilion is on site that includes a river rock wood burning fireplace~! There are 3 parking lots offering at least 50 parking spots- Up top near windmill for easiest access or, park at the bottom and walk up the hill to the windmill site. Did I say its free? But, a $2 donation per guest is suggested.

I have seen this place up close on location. But do not think I have ever seen the inside of the windmill.

Historically significant working windmill. Bald Eagles perch nearby and fish the Fox River. An incredible sight.

Very cool place. They offer tours on the weekend and it is kept up very well!

Percect for pre-nup pictures, bicycling, roller blading, walking and picnic. Amazing natur resources. The only downfall is the bathroom. They only have 1 cubicle and it is coed. They have to upgrade the bathroom.

Great place, open on weekends to see it working from the inside.
