This is a fun well maintained golf course.Every hole has it own challenge.The fairways were very well kept.The rough is tough .Beware of the sand traps!! They were hard packed and a bit light on the sand.The greens were very well managed.For those with hip or knee pain.Take your pain medication before you play. Remember the course is calledBartlett HILLS and yes there are lots and lots of hills. And some Tee Boxes have inclines that can be difficult to manage if you have hip or knee issues.But honestly I would not let that keep anyone away from playing here. The staff is top notch! With great service from everyone!! They were all very friendly .And trying hard to earn your business!!Earl

I booked Bartlett for my wedding ceremony in January 2020. I was just THRILLED with the customer service I received from Evan and Laura leading up to the wedding and during the wedding itself! They were incredibly professional, ready to jump in and lend a hand, and focused on making my wedding a dream come true!There was an event going on the day before my wedding so I couldnt set up the ceremony space, however, I explained to Evan and Laura how I wanted it to look and they blew my expectations out of the water! They went above and beyond decorating the room I rented & they also flipped their entire lobby from being Christmas themed to totally match the atmosphere I was going for with the decor I brought -- they decorated the lobby with their own supplies and it matched beautifully with the decor I brought, I couldnt believe it!They were also AMAZING at staying in contact with me and ensuring pretty much anything that mayve needed to change was ran by me before changing it! I felt in the loop and supported throughout the whole day!!! 12/10 would recommend Bartlett Hills!!!

Beautiful course and fair price. Im not a good golfer but it was a challenging course for me. Will definitely visit again and recommend to friends.

The Course is always in wonderful shape. It can play a little slow at times, which for me is ok I’m out there to enjoy the day not see how fast I can play. The staff is always friendly. Only draw back to me are the bunkers, but with covid they don’t have the rakes out. Other than that I play it as much as I can.

A great track to play. Fairways are in great shape and the greens are even better. Would have rated it of 5 but when you go to their website it transfers you to Golf Now (without knowing it) and you end up paying a premium over their standard rates.

This place packs every hole from open to close. They gave me a “rain check” discount (that I won’t be coming back to redeem) in lieu of waiting 20+ min each shot, which was a nicer gesture than none. Friendly staff, but rangers don’t do anything (I didn’t see one on the course). If pace matters to you at all, you won’t enjoy yourself. If you wanna dink it around and not worry about the people behind you, this is the place for you.

It is fine. The ranger is terrible at his job. Was yelling at the people infront of us to play faster but in the end didnt do anything about it. Course is fine, nothing special.

Super friendly staff. Its a cool layout with more elevation than you usually get around here and the pace was fine for middle of the day on a Saturday.

When I went the course was Beautiful well groomed, but the first couple of holes my group and I felt that we were rushed. we were just getting in the grove of playing golf again and they Kept on coming up to us to go faster and faster and faster if not than you must go back at another time plus I made a mistake on my part accidentally driving close to the green not on the green driving close to the green because we were trying to rush through and one of the people came up to me screaming at me I know I had made a mistake but it should have been handled WAY differently and ultimately ruined the experience for me and the party of four with me and we soon after saw that other people who were older doing the same thing and they didn’t get yelled at! we paid 50$ dollars each so we weren’t going anywhere and than we soon found out that no one was even close to us so we were rushing for no reason It felt like they were treating us differently cause we were teenagers:( pls next time try to treat everyone equally I hate writing reviews about such a great course but that ruined my experience on the course and left a very bad taste and I most likely won’t attend again,

Course is a fair test and is in wonderful condition. The cart girl / lady is friendly and attentive. When you finish your round the service at the clubhouse patio is the best I have seen since this pandemic has befallen us. Ask for Brenda she is outstanding!

This is a Nice public course, one of the few in the area where you find some elevation changes. Superintendent for keeping great course conditions and to running a great operation. Always look forward to playing BH!

The course is in beautiful condition except for one thing. The bunkers are clay. They should be marked as ground under repair and a free drop until this is fixed. It’s embarrassing for a course this nice to have no sand in the bunkers.

Golf course was in great shape.Also had a sweet driving range, and large putting green allowing for chipping and pitching.

Love this golf course and layout. Like the name says, Bartlett HILLS so its a links course. You will experience uphill lies, downhill lies, and side hill lies too. Plenty of trees and a couple of water holes make this a challenge. Love it

Had my wedding reception at Bartlett Hills and everything was amazing! Evan took care of us every step of the way and his assistant Laura was very helpful. The food was tasty and their staff was attentive. I’m so happy we went with Bartlett Hills for our reception venue.

If I could rate it less i would. 6 hour pace on a Friday at 12. No rangers to monitor pace. Terrible experience. Course was actually alright.

Went for a class reunion. Nice facility. Decent food. Staff was a little over zealous in clearing tables as purchased adult beverages, that werent empty, were taken while we were away from the table getting more food - so watch your drinks.

My daughter’s wedding, 10/26/18. The whole experience was smooth and wonderful! Mary was in charge of our venue, I couldn’t have asked for a more calm organized person! She took care of every detail, from decorations, to the Ceremony, to the reception. What a great experience! The food was outstanding! We had prime rib, and chicken Kiev, all of the guests commented and how great the food was!

This course has a lot of hard pan areas & uneven lies for your golf ball, even in the Fairway, or tee box for that matter.You can tell its was it one time a dairy farm.Staff its helpful when you can find them and dont expect to consistently see a cart girl.....

My wife and I just had our wedding ceremony and reception at bartlett hills on november 30th. It was by far the smoothest and seamless wedding I have ever been to. Evan and Laura make sure that everything is taken care of, guests are happy and nothing goes awry during your special day. We had made a few special requests to evan for our special day, and both him and Laura made all of those requests happen. Everything was also priced very well, many other places couldnt even come close in terms of the price vs value and customer service. I would reccomend bartlett hills to anyone else who would ask. Thank you guys for making our special day headache free, and a day to remember!

Love the elevations and very fair and challenging. They do a great job on the course. For a municipal course, this place is a gem. Fair prices and the people are always great. They keep the course very well maintained and the greens are in great shape. Always a great time when I play there.

Our wedding was on July 2017 at Bartlett Hills. It was everything we hoped for and we had a wonderful time with our families and friends celebrating our big day. Thank God for Mary!!! We are blessed to plan our big day with Mary. She is truly kind and thoughtful. From the beginning to the end everything went smoothly. Bartlett Hills is a great venue, but what made it unique is Mary and her staff. They genuinely care and very flexible to accommodate us. We had few traditional ceremonies we incorporated within our reception, it was no problem for Mary. She make everything look effortless. The food was good, the table setup and decoration was exactly what we wanted, and the cake was the best!! Mary incorporated our wedding colors and theme to the entire hall very nicely. The Bartlett Hills golf course was perfect for our weeding picture. Please do yourself a favor go see Bartlett Hills and talk to Mary!!

Good track, some interesting holes thrown in intermittently

I had my daughters quinceanera on June 29th. Evan and the staff made the day stress free for me. My husband dropped off our centerpieces and favors the day of the event and the staff took care of the rest. The place was beautifully decorated and everyone was a huge help to me. I received so many compliments on how the venue was set up. If I could give 10 stars I would! Great job Evan and BHGC staff! You guys are awesome!!!

Bad experience at fish fry tonight. Party of six, 5 ordered fish fry, one ordered salmon. Person that ordered salmon got walleye. Waiter apologized, brought it back. Everyone was done eating and still no salmon dinner. Again waiter apologized. We said just pack up salmon dinner to go. Well it took forever for that to happen . Only good thing about the night was they didnt get charged for the dinner. Also took forever to get our check. Too bad the waiter has to take the heat for a poorly run kitchen. Embarrassed our friends came to Bartlett for fish fty. Done with Bartlett Hills.

A good place to golf and share your thoughts on the 19th hole. The course is well managed and in good hands.

The layout is fun, greens are tight, but the slow play is unavoidable. Spent 4 and half hours on the 2nd 9. Front was nice and the back was jammed packed.

Nice course well kept reasonable price some challenging holes but not so difficult that its not fun to play.

This is a gem of a public course, one of the few in the area where you find some elevation changes. Kudos to Kevin Deroo, Superintendent for keeping great course conditions and to Phil Lenz, Head Pro for running a great operation. Always look forward to playing BH!

Very nice place to golf and they have many parties at this place. Have very nice food and amenities. It is part of the park district so its not too expensive to golf here. Golf carts are available and caddies I believe. Just overall nice experience the only downside I would say is that its right next to the Metra train tracks so it might get a little noisy from that.

Great trek but poorly run and very overpriced. Rangers dont do ANYTHING to move along slow play. 1 and 1/2 hours to play 4 holes on the back nine today. Wont be returning.

Mothers day brunch was great with a good view. That is all I can review! The venue is unique for the suburbs.

Great layout, great conditions and friendly staff. Five hour rounds, even on weekends are the only frustration. I really enjoy the course and plan to play again frequently.

The worst played there today...would never go back, waited 5 to 10 minutes per shot since the first hole on ever hole. Called the clubhouse and they sent a range out and he said there is a group that holds up the course...so why would you allow that ? And then you want to change me $47.00. I can think of alot better places to play for less.

09/17/2017Great course and very well-kept, I will continue to golf here. There is just one person you have to meet, there is this old man, we call him the jagoff, who checks you in for your first hole and tee time. Hes basically a glorified Walmart greeter. Where, no joke, we were one minute late to our tee time. That minute late, funny enough, was being spent in your bar giving you more money. He felt the need to interrogate us why we were late and assured us that we had screwed it up. I told him if we just totally obliterated his tee times we can just wait, thank God he allowed us to continue the game we paid for. With the PTSD setting in I actually did much better not really caring about the game and just hitting the ball with all the furious rage I could muster. Thank-you Walmart greeter, you have done us an invaluable service.09/24/2017Alright so in all fairness, I will be transparent with this review. After my first post the owner responded and assured this problem would not happen again. I have to say, they delivered. That same old man, complete 180, cracking jokes, very kind, and helpful in a non forced way, he seemed genuinely happy to have us. He also checked back in by the 3rd hole to make sure we were taken care of. Now if they could patch up the tee boxes more frequently on the par 3s, this place is gold. Still my favorite golf course, all super friendly and helpful staff ready to crack jokes and have fun while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Good catering, but the chicken was dry. Great course and views.

Its a pretty nice course. A lot of the greens have leaves or those little helicopter seeds all over them. I found myself always clearing a path for me to putt, which, seeing the path, may have helped me putt better. But it was still an inconvenience.
