Great local theater. Small and small staffed. I love it. Seat were a little old.

Theres actually not a lot of venues in Barstow. I do enjoy this one quite often. Well go to get out of the house. Its nice to be able to watch a movie without a bunch of noise like in the bigger cities.Great staff and nice affordable pricing. Keep up the good work.

Staff is great. It is a blessing to have a movie theater in town. Support small business and come watch a movie.

The cinema was fairly clean, had no issue finding parking and the people were polite. My only grip is that $7.50 for a 1pm showing was kinda steep. Not to mention the sign that said $5 tickets all day still kinda confused by that. Otherwise the movie started on time without issue.

Great customer service, good ticket prices, snacks are the regular price you would expect at the movies. On the day I went, there were only two other people there so we picked whatever seat we wanted. Since its so small you can sometimes hear the movie in the next theater and also it smelled a little funny there kind of like an old grandmas house, but I dont feel like it took away from an overall good experience.

Older style kind of theatre, seats dont recline but wasnt necessarily uncomfortable. Got popcorn to share with my husband, which tasted decent. My only complaint is that there was a small group of people (I think maybe teens, not 100% sure) that talked and laughed literally throughout the entire movie and were not asked to stop or leave. No staff came into check, so they were allowed to continue this. At other places Ive been to there have always been staff periodically coming in the check for things like that, or to make sure people arent trying to sneak in. I wouldnt mind going to this theater again, but I hope the people attending the movie will be more respectful of others trying to actually watch the movie next time.

Ive been going to this theater since I was a kid and its absolutely amazing they always strive to better the theater and better your stay there... I love this theater and will continue to go there... thank you for the amazing times. I Thank You.

The new movie ANGEL HAS FALLEN played one time and one time only, then was gone. It played at 7pm on Thursday and that was it. I dont get it. Never heard of anything like that before. There must be a reason for it and I sure would like to know what it is.

Good sound, clear picture, good climate. Snacks and their prices are pretty typical. Ill be going again during my stay here and its more convenient than going to Victorville.*Up-rated my review after third movie here*Really enjoying this place! Dont come and expect electric recliners and reserved seating. For what it is, its a solid 5-star place. Fresh popcorn, good snacks, reasonable prices, friendly staff. What more can you ask!

The first theater Ive noticed that has a Veteran rate. Service was incredible and friendly. Bought tickets for the 4pm then realized we wouldnt catch the last bus home so the manager understood and issued us passes for our use next time. Thankyou for the great time! Well be back soon!

Maybe 3 if the line is long. So get there early because they will sell out quick.

Good for a quick cheap get away. But not so great if youre trying to genuinely enjoy the film. It isnt a place youd wanna see a movies youve really anticipated. Just for if you need a cheap theatre

My overall experience here was just ok, the prices were average for a movie theater(overpriced popcorn,$6 sodas), but what I didnt like was that they charge for devils even though you got a large. Not too big of a deal bc it was only $0.75 each, but still. My second complaint was the employees were extremely loud in the hallways and behind the counters to the point where we could hear them in the theater during the movie. It was a little distracting trying to hear the movie while listening how drunk they got over the weekend, or how much money certain people make there.

Its a pretty nice place. Not a wide selection of movies but new selected movies they do have. Location is close to where you are staying and have deals on certain days. That is good. Nice staff.

The quality of projection and screen at the Barstow theater is cheap. The picture was dim and definitely not modern or state of the art like I read in a response from the owner. Last time I went to tbe movies was over 10 years ago and the quality was a lot better than at this theater. This movie theater is the cheapest Ive ever attended. The overall experience was not worth the 10$. The only positive note was the older lady at the register. We watched The Avengers. That was not state of the art equipment, lol.

I couldnt even sit in the theater long enough for the movie to start. The theater smelled like a public bathroom. The seats were uncomfortable. Only reason Im giving more than one star is because the people that work there and that run the place are super nice, I actually feel bad posting this bad review because of it. Nothing can be done about the uncomfortable seats but Im sure something can be done about the smell.

Affordable prices and decent size screens. My only issue is some of the aisles in the theatre had left over trash but other than that it was a good experience.

Usually very very very empty and quiet. Been there 4 times and every time we were one of at the most 4 other couples/parties. Bathrooms need remodel but other than that nice place.

Living in Barstow, this theater fulfills 90% of all my movie watching itches. Just about every movie that comes out is shown here.Prices and movie selection are on their website.Matinee is until 6pm daily.$5 all day Tuesday.Cheap concession stand.Clean. Great staff. Great sound. Great picture. Lots of seating. Even though they dont do early ticket purchase, Ive never had issue with getting a ticket and seat. If its a major showing, arrive 45 minutes prior for preferred seating, but otherwise I would not worry. In my experience it has not been worth the drive to Apple Valley vs the perfectly suitable local Barstow Station.

Very small theater in Barstow. It is very good to have this close to the base because you dont have to travel all the way to Victorville. Its not a Cinemark, but it has everything that you would want at a movie. Prices are very reasonable.

5 stars for the prices. But no Stadium seating and generally rundown building brings it down. Refreshing not to spend an arm and a leg on a movie experience.

The place is clearly old. But clean and comfortable. The best ticket prices and concession prices I have seen in a long time.

Today I was somewhat dissappointed. The clerks at the cash register they where really nice. What bothered me is the banging on pipes they had going on. And some guy I know he was trying to dry the carpet but boy was it load. You could still here it. And a guy decided to come and change the trash bad out of the dumpster in yhe middle of the movie. And the Exit sign light is was so bright it became pretty annoying. Movie had start and we had to close the door because it was really load outside. Ive gone other times and this was the first time I was dissappointed.

It was cheap but also old. The seats were uncomfortable and all flat on the floor instead of tapering them up. My son was not heavy enough to hold his seat down so I had to hold it down for him the whole movie. The theatre smelled dirty and the sound system sucked.

My first review and sadly leaving a negative review, but after a month this is still bothering me. I went up to an employee and let her know that the movie was a little loud the girls name was Valerie I believe. She rolled her eyes at me, and very rudely told me thats not her problem. When I did not leave she looked at me again and once again with more attitude as if that was even possible said its not her problem to do that and to have a nice day in a very sarcastic manner. I understand that some days we have bad moods but that should not be taken out on the customers who spend their money at an establishment. I also understand that she may not have or could not have turened the volume down but the rudness ruined the experience. I was going to let this go but after talking to a few friends they have also had negative comments about this employee. As long as I see her there I will not be attending the Barstow walk in theater I would rather take my money elsewhere and I advise others do the same. This is a shame too because its the towns people that keep local businesses alive.

Ok Ill be fair ticket prices were not horrible 7pm showing was $7.50 w/military discount, per adult, thats why I can give them 1 star, however, the concession prices were OUTRAGEOUS! Come on seriously, you cant get glass of ice water unless you pay for full drink price so you are forced to buy bottled water, ok...NOT OK...so 4 bottle waters, 1 large drink & 1 combo that included only 1 large drink & 1 large bag popcorn (not the big bucket, a bag) $11 for the combo alone, TOTALED $32.00...on top of admission price....an they changed us $0.25 for the Flippin cardboard tray to carry the concessions in....ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME! Relatively few people in theater, when movie started they didnt shut doors to lobby so we had too, bc lite an people in lobby areas very noisy & was interfering with the movie we were watching. IDK how many times Staff came in an did checks, I get it, piracy being what it is, an kids can be unruly however, it was very distracting as we were sitting in 2nd row from top.....sound QUALITY sucked at times the dialogue couldnt be heard an also picture quality was bad, almost as if we were watching a bootleg copy....the theater is old an smelly needs to be updated so at least the experience and price point is worth the expense. In future Ill wait for it to hit Netflix or Redbox or on demand where you get what you pay for, as opposed to dropping over $65 to watch 1 movie with 6 people.

Went to see Gravity 10/14/13. I did enjoy the movie, however the picture quality was was streaky. During the previews I expected the streakyness to clear up. It didnt by time the movie started I was blocked in by three other customers and had already consumed half of my popcorn and drink. After the movie I asked to see the Manager, I told her about the movie quality. She told me that there was nothing she could do since I watched the entire movie. I explained to her I wasnt asking for her for anything, but to make her aware of the issue. There was another customer that felt that he should be given a pass or voucher. While observing the manager and the other customer I got impression from managers body language and voice she had been aware of the problem. Any way if still want to watch a movie stay away from screen #5.

Good when not crowded

This theater could definitely use a renovation, but it was clean and had good concessions. The only major draw back was the lack of tiered seating and no walkway lighting.

Nothing special but the tuesdays are great price and its clean. Definitely worth it if victorville is too far or drive in isnt ideal.
