Very beautiful place. Gorgeous sceneryJust want to warn some of you with small kids. If its your first trail, it could be a bit difficult for little ones. The trail goes up and some stones a bit slippery.We couldnt make it all the way to Devils Doorway Rock Formation. Well, maybe next time

Defenitley only accesible for expeirienced hikers, but is worth it!

Challenging hike, but worth it for the view. I always feel like I have travelled to the west, as the views feel more like Colorado or Wyoming.

The way up was marked well you could see the paths, the descent was with caution fast less effort a different experience.Loved it

Its a climb from the south parking lot but well worth it. Just do it, you wouldnt be disappointed. Dont stop there continue on to the Devils doorway and many of the other trails

Personally I think the Devils Doorway is more interesting. I actually walked right past the balanced rock and realized there was a sign pointing backwards. The rock is a bit off the trail (south east if I remember correctly) and isnt anything too tall. Its close to the edge so be careful if you go to get a close up look. The rock stairs are slick if wet and not an easy climb, make sure to bring water and flashlights if its close to nightfall.

Awesome hike up. It’s a bit hard and maybe dangerous if you have young children. But the view is awesome. We hiked up in a light rain and it was still doable.
