The playground was busy. Lots of folks enjoying the space and mostly respectful of each other. The trash all over is a bummer.

Nice place for families and youngsters to have some good ol fun. The Skatepark has some shady deals going on at times but they are not dealers its mostly skateboarder A got something for B (they ARE skateboarders lol) overall clean, fun, and lots to do (also a nice place to get fresh air while you watch skaters do cool stuff (or fall hehe)
Roosevelt Recreation Center is a great place for the kids after school (after-school care) and for recreational activities indoors and Outdoors.
Love it here ive been going here since i was alittle girl now i send my cbildren there. the staff is the best

From what I saw, it seemed an ok place to congregate. Might be more suited to children than young adults though.

Hang out for drug addicts. Never been to the center itself. Skate park is very popular.

Ive lived in Hamden for 16 years and basically grew up here playing baseball soccer and going down for skating on friday nights and I still go down for basketball or to play soccer with my friends inside
