Love this concept! While the younger generation loves gaming, I think this allows them an opportunity to be social while doing it. While I would love for this business to be prosperous, I just selfishly hope it doesnt flourish to the extent that it is so busy you have to wait extended periods of time or that it begins to attract rougher crowds.Took hubby and our two gamer-freaks-in-the-making and they loved it. As someone with OCD, I appreciated their cleanliness, wiping down controllers and headsets with alcohol wipes after use. Not to mention the manager was super helpful. She was pleasant and hilarious (definitely a plus!).While the facility is compact, it houses comfortable recliners for Xbox and Playstation users; and, theres 4 VR stations (nice!). Game selection was expansive and superb. Will, undoubtedly, be returning.
We were looking for something to do with our young teen grandchildren and stumbled across this place. The kids loved it. They explained to us that the games they played were all the newest ones; the ones they havent yet conned mom and dad into buying! They had a great time trying the games out so they could amend their Xmas gift lists! We thought the place was an attractive and safe environment for the kids. Next time you want to shop at the mall drop the kids here; theyll be happy and you will reduce your stress!
My kids weren’t impressed. I knew when I dropped them off that it was just too small for them to have fun and not worth the cost. I agree with the previous review to take to Dave and Busters instead. Better variety, more bang for your buck and more space hands down. Sorry won’t be back.
This place was fantastic, my girlfriend and I had the pleasure of taking our 9 yr old today, the staff pleasantly opened the doors 10 minutes early for him and where very good with instruction on the games especially the VR. He had so much fun and I cannot say enough about the kindness of the staff, anyone giving this business a bad review is probably a lonely 35 year old living in their mothers basement rent free. we will be inquiring about a birthday party here in the near future! Thank you all so much! Not to mention how wonderful the staff was with our 2 year old daughter while she played with the chalk boards! 5 stars across the board
We took our 9 year old son here and he had an absolute blast! The staff opened the doors for us 10 minutes early and were beyond helpful and patient with us! He loved the VR and being able to play Rick and Morty. Loved the fact that it is an hour of actual play time and he wasn’t rushed to change games. We will definitely be revisiting soon!
Took my 7 year old daughter to the Loading Zone today. (She’s a mega gamer to be 7 lol.) She really enjoyed herself and can’t wait to return. I was able to sit back comfortably in a jumbo recliner chair and watch her play her little eyes out. The staff were super knowledgeable on the gaming systems and the world of games. They were engaged and focused on making my daughters experience super fun. She really enjoyed the Virtual Reality Simulator, which I had never even heard of. This will surely be our new reward spot. Glad I found out about it!!!! Thanks For a great time Amy & Derrell!!
Great tournament spot in a great location. Come out and show some love!
My son and I love to come and spend a few hours trying out the new games. They have the Switch, Xbox One, PS4 and VR setups - lots of games to choose from.
Sucks this is made 4 kiddies. The only positive feedback is from parents or grandparents. Daycare Gaming??
I had loads of fun with my daughter and grandkids this Saturday and I tried out VR which was so realistic the staff had to keep me from walking into the wall. Their VR is so immersive that you will be amazed at how easily your brain accepts this new environment as real!. I even got spooked by some cartoon characters playing along with me on an arcade game of ring toss! They appeared out of nowhere and were really tall with animal snouts. Friendly looking but uh-uh! Definitely go! Youll have a blast!
Just going to be honest here everyone. Way to small for a gaming lounge first off and overpriced to rent out for parties for such a small place that doesn’t even serve food. This place is DEFINITELY not for us adults either when we just want to hang out and have fun with no kids or with them. Walked by Loading Zone with my friends after leaving Red Brick Station looking to keep this fun night going and said why come to this mom and pop shop and be charged by the hour when we can go to Dave n Busters across the street at the mall where they actually have food (not just kiddie snacks), enjoy adult beverages while playing the plethora of ‘real’ games / arcades they have that I could never play at home unlike here and not feel rushed to play because my time is ticking away and will have to pay more if I go over. Just can’t justify anyone paying to rent out this tiny space for a party (when again you can just go to Dave n Busters where your kids will have a better time/experience not to mention more options of games/things to do) paying by hour to just play Xbox, PlayStation or Nintendo games when I can just play them at home for free and if my kids dont happen to have the game they might have, I’ll just rent it or physically buy the game and play it as long as we want at home which could be (based on the game) the cost to play here for 3, 5 or 8 hours. My recommendation if you’re reading my review, go to a real gaming place that you, your friends and kids will love, Dave N Busters...plus you can stay there all day and chill and NOT be charged “by the hour”. This is a no-brainer to me.
Kids had a great time! Hope there are plans to expand!!
They are real nice and a wonderful place
