As always it was an amazing experience. They have updated the alcoholic beverage menu. The venue is set up nicely with social distancing rules. Servers were very nice and attentive. Cavy....like cavier was our server and the best one yet! We didnt have to ask for anything. Parking is free in the lot for the hotel...its a Best Western. You have to retrieve your tickets from the booth downstairs and go upstairs to the banquet room. I dont recommend bringing a large purse or jacket as the tables are small and the chairs have an oval back...purse straps fall right off. The exiting process needs work. But im definately glad this venue has reopened. I am a long time patron!
Had a wonderful time. Lavell Crawford was hilarious. I laughed so much, I left with a headache.
I always love the comedians n I always have a good time! The staff is always very nice!!
I love this place. Great comics and great drinks.
Saw a few shows here. Great atmosphere, good food and drinks.
If youre like me and didnt realize the club is in the Best Western - youre welcome! Im new to the area and didnt realize and was ready to turn around before I saw a security gaurd directing traffic. Its a good comedy club on par with others Ive been to. There is a 2 drink minimum and the food is bar fare. The seating is ample with 3 discernable sections. Floor seating, elevated center of house and elevated rear of house. Floor seating directly in front of the stage is at a premium, center of house in my opinion is the best for viewing and fills up rather quickly behind floor seating. The rear of house is just okay only because my old eyes couldnt see very well back there! From what Ive seen on their website they attract a diverse group of comedians and have plenty of shows so you can see your favorite artist while in town.Overall, I had a lot of fun and will definitely be back!
Its always great everytime I go to see a show
Great atmosphere food was tasty for comedy club...
LMAO! Great laughs, real talk, and the food is on point!
Always a good time! Quality comedians and fast service
The show was great but they get you with the high price drinks and they have a 2 drink minimum $175 for two people for an hour and a half show is kinda ridiculous
Tony Roberts was great. The female comedian before him (sorry, we forgot her name unfortunately) was a great lead up. Our server was very good. Would come back to see other comedians in the future
This is one of the strangest comedy clubs Ive ever seen. Its in a ballroom of a hotel. Once youre inside it is nice enough but just odd. Drinks are good but didnt try the food. The MC Alabama is awesome!
Great comedians! Good prices on shows. Food not the best either too greasy or cooked too hard. Bottled water $5. 2 drink minimum with an alcohol and non-alcohol tax on drinks. Go for the show and eat beforehand and youre good!
Ive been going to the comedy factory for almost 15 years. Been to every location. Theyve made great strides and have some great comedians.Pros: Clean, Good Atmosphere, Great Environment and Entertainment.Cons: Drinks are weak depending on the waiter and food isnt the best.
The food and service were good, comedy was great. Queue line after queue line and the close quarters in the hallway we had to wait in outside the comedy room was ridiculous and HOT! Much improvement can be made in organizing the queue lines. Also the room was not properly cleaned after the first show due to it running over- which delayed our start for over and hour. Otherwise, not bad.
My husband and I really had a good time at this venue. The comics were funny, and the food was good. I wasn’t impressed with my particular wait staff, but everybody else seems to be happy with their’s. I will definitely be returning
First time back since its remodeling and still the scenery has improved some. Just saw the Red Grant show yest and it was very great show. The host, Alabama was hilarious in his introduction of the artist. Kevin Tate of Detroit had warmed the crowd with his routine and also very much a good talent. Then Red Grant took it home with his performance. Always love the talent that comes thru. Planning to continue to support the BCF. Keep up the great work. Alabama is also said to have a show this upcoming Thursday so you should consider......
I enjoyed myself at the newly updated Comedy Factory. Its much cleaner and comfortable - the food and drinks werent bad. The parking wasnt bad - you can park right outside of the club on the other side of the hotel. You no longer have to enter through the hotel and go through the club entrance which was pretty nice.
We saw Benji Brown and he was funny per usual! I will travel miles to see that man, seriously. Hes so funny omg. The opening acts were really good too Rob ward and Alabama were funny too. We will definitely revisit the comedy factory.
This is a great place to go for entertainment and have some laughs! I used to go with just my husband, but our kids are old enough now and we all really enjoy it. The food is pretty good and the place runs like a well-oiled machine. The venue is an easy in easy out kind of place. The comedians are good. I highly recommend it!
The place has been remodeled and is much nicer. The comedian was just nuts and hilarious. I dont like the ticket system and it doesnt make it convenient for the disabled, as my disabled daughter was forced to walk far for her ticket. She wasnt able to make it to the ticket office and the helpful staff accommodated and helped her. The food i had was very good but the 2 drink minimum should not be enforced if buying food because the price is outrageous.
Nice venue. There is a 2 drink minimum, water is $10 so you might as well buy a drink. They shrimp is good.
The location is convenient. The layout is great. It was clean. We had terrific service. The waiting area was really nice too, it had a bar and plenty of games. Most importantly, the comedians were hilarious.
Decent spot, seating is TIGHT. And depending on the comic there that night, the line to enter can be long. Drinks are decent, but a little over-priced.
The Comedians were hilarious!!!! I mean we were crying!!!!.....oh and not sure who they have back there in the kitchen, but it is definitely someone solid! The food was great!!! The crab cake had all the best, most meaty parts of the crab!!! My friends who came with me were wishing they ordered a crab cake!!!
Love the fact they remodeled the place, much classier but damn...now you have to stand in a club line to get your tickets only to be told to go back outside and around the front where they say this is no longer the entrance...not well thought out...food is good, drinks are decent, but this new entry system needs work.
I saw Meshelle the Indie mom ( opening act) and Arsenio Hall(headlining). The line was long for admission but moved quickly. The servers & food service was good. 2 drink minimum in effect. I had mixed drinks that were decent. Nothing to write home about. Seating for sold out show was pretty cramped. I had a very good time. I will certainly go back. Parking was plentiful.
I had a blast cant wait to go back. Drinks are the best. I ordered a house favorite, that my hostess suggested some kind of blue drink. The atmosphere was the coolest.
I love this place why simple I love comedy and I love to laugh. Plus they have upgraded this beautiful place. The downstairs area is now an upscale nightlife spot and looks like an adult Dave and Busters. Beautiful new stage and pictures posted on the wall of GREAT COMEDIANS!!!
This was my first time here and we were not expecting to be crowded into a club scene while we waited. I guess its cool if youre still into the club scene, otherwise the entry set up will totally blow your vibe for those who like to get grown and sexy for a comedy show and not a crowded club. You wait in line while people are dancing, drinking and bumping into you as they try to maneuver from the bar to the dance floor. Entry through the front of the hotel is not an option and it feels forced and assumed that this club scene will be enjoyed by all who wait. Once they open entry your ticket group is called by A, B or C like Southwest airlines. I loved the comics which is the only reason this gets 3 stars but I will not return to this establishment.
I love every show me and my husband attend. You laugh you sting and the food is amazing. Its a great time all around.
Great evening out (laughs, drinks and eats )for a great price!!! The renovations was a great idea. The safari is also a nice addition for the hotel!
I love the remodel. It looks amazing in there. I even like that you dont have to go into the hotel. It has its own entrance that has a little D&Bs feel
Saw Tommy Davidson and enjoyed the show. This was my first time back since the renovation. The new club has a nice atmosphere and offers a choice for pre and post show entertainment, but the DJ was not in sync with the crowd that night
First time, it was cool. Two drink minimum, had some nice options for non alcohol drinkers. Need to work on transaction from downstairs to the club. Id visit again.
The remodel looks nice. Seems to flow better getting in and getting seated. Had a great time!
Great setup for a Comedy show. Food was great, and very prompt. Going back as soon as possible!!!
Atmosphere and servers/security were good, but eat before you get here. Food leaves a lot to be desired. Drinks were decent.
Always have a blast here...get to great jokes, meet different comedians, and downstairs is a bar & lounge nightclub scene.
I had a good time at the comedy factory, but I can say the rules arent specified like they should be. There is a two drink minimum purchase that must be made, but it is only valid in the show room, during the comedy event. There are a couple of bars in the main area where you enter the comedy factory, but if you buy a drink there it isnt included in the two drink minimum. This rule seemed to deter customers and had to be explained by the waitress/waiter when being seated at the table. Other than that I had a good time with tons of laugh.
The show was good but the seating is horrible. The manager Tim or Steve because they wouldn’t give me the exact name was really rude and arrogant. He only allowed his guest to seat on the top level so therefore our part was seated separately at different tables. Like that top section was VIP!! He wouldn’t take a moment to speak with me or anyone in our party. I will not patronize them again.
They have remodeled and its very nice. They should allow you to have a two ITEM minimum opposed to two drink minimum. Other than that, its comedy!!!
Taylor, waiter was slow and rude. The managers Kara and Steve were very disrespectful and unprofessional. The assistant manager was threatening toward patrons and the manager was yelling and supported her rude disgruntled employees. There werent enough waiters for the number of patrons. Today was the absolute worse experience Ive ever had at this place!!
I absolutely love this place. However, it’s true when they say the early bird catches the worm. If you want a good seat get there early. It’s not that you will not have a good view of the show, but you will have to squeeze in between tables to find a seat.
I enjoyed the comedian but it was really cold in there like they didnt want to turn the heat on. They give you a stub to prove you paid your bill and the waitress apparently gave me the wrong stub and the security guard tried to argue me down saying it was the wrong stub
The comedians are good but the staff take forever to bring your drinks, food and to close out your bill. Its very crowded and you are on top of the next person. I know this place was recently renovated, but they really should have focused on opening up their floorplan so you are not literally touching the next person.
Great atmosphere, friendly people, waiter/waitresses very friendly & professional & Bill Bellamy was great! He was soo funny I actually laughed so hard it made my stomach sore. I would definitely go see him again. They have remodeled BCF it looks good!!! Check them out, I guarantee you will have a great time!!!
They have upgraded and got rid of those raggedy curtains. The set up is real nice. I love the game and bar area. A place to hang out while you wait.I always enjoyed, but now I look forward to hanging out in the game area.
Lovethe Comedy! The Food2 drinks not ( liquor) and food $50. Never again to high!
Social distancing is encourged
The performers are awesome there. Everyone I went to see at Baltimore Comedy Factory was hilarious. Gary Owens was funny from the moment he stepped on the stage. The problem is the place is old and in a desperate need of remodeling. You would attract more people. The drinks are good. I always order Patron. The food is OK. Nothing special because you only there for about 2 hours for the show.
OMG I HAD A WONDERFUL TIME AN I WILL BE COMING BACK MY server was much respectful an she greeted us with a smile as she done her job my date was troy brooks he as well shown me a good time thank you
I went to see Tony Roberts, he was hilarious this is a great place to get away and the fat boy from Baltimore and the female comedian before Tony was very funny, I had a fantastic time, drinks and food was good as well, see you next week...
Drinks were strong, Fries were Crisp!Went to see Ryan Davis who is hilarious. There is a two drink minimum, water and soda count towards the minimum.I tried the island peach- it was Yummy. They were well made and strong, which is good for the $10 they were a piece. A plate of Fries was priced at $7, which seems a bit steep so I got the shrimp platter instead for $11.They add a 18% gratuity to your bill, which is fine I guess. I usually tip at least 20% but I never tip on top of and added gratuity as I am not a fan of the practice personally. The space was comfortable and the stage was easy to see. Staff was friendly. I would reccomend this place again. The biggest downside is we were waiting to see Ryan after the show, we stood in line not realizing the line was to go to the show after his. It would have been nice if that was made clearer. My bro is a big fan and goes to all his shows when he comes to town. I guess there is always next time.
Alabama was really funny. I like his style and delivery. Damon Wayans was genius. The food isnt great but thats not what we went for.
Really nice...I love how they have remodeled...good to see when the profits are being spent right!
Its nice here, they play good music, I enjoyed myself.
Tony Roberts was funny as heck, his energy was consistent throughout his act..afterwards,had a great time dancing downstairs. Great D.J..
New upgrades had a great time. you meet down in a club like atmosphere and then head up to the theater room for the comedy show.
Revamped Lounge area with music, bar, big tv screens, pool table and other arcade type games, worthy upgrade
Terrible place. They attempted to make people pay to park but it wasnt organized so the majority of people after waiting around the lot for 20+ minutes looking to pay were told to park around the lot. This was because they had effectively made everyone late to the comedy show. Also, if you need to go to the restroom during the show, you need to leave your ID with security. To make this horrible night worst....on exit they take tickets to prove that you arent stealing and paid for your food and drink. The absolute worst experience at a ticketed venue in life. People of Baltimore stop allowing this type of treatment...your dollars count.
Like to change and update to this establishment. I come every now and then if i havent seen the person. The wings are decent, the drinks are decent too, make sire you tell the waiter hit you with alittle more alcohol. The prices are somewhat high, but you see decent artist and sometime the prices to see them is reasonable. I will keep going back.
Great atmosphere. Amazing staff. Just WARNING!! 2 drink minimum or unlimited soda($12.50).. 2 DRINKS START IN THE ROOM. NOT IN THE MAIN AREA WITH THE BAR!!!
This is a nice place to go to it can become a little pricey though the food is not that great.Ive been there about five times and each time Ive always enjoyed a comedians.
Michael Colyar was Great!!!!But the wings were dry the fries were cold. Matter of fact nothing was hot the wings were really really dry they didnt have meat on them either if it was it was all dried up from them I dont know what they did with them but the comedian Michael Colyar was great he was great and Alabama was great but far as the food the drinks hopefully when you guys reopen again everything will be better.
Nice remodel. Food is a lil pricey for what u get but they but they get good comics
Went to Baltimore Comedy Factory in the hotel. The show was so good. The food and the drinks, eech. Not worth a take away box. And the bartender need another mixology class.
Carlos was hilarious! He was very engaged with the audience. He even extended his set due to the audience requesting him to stay longer. It was an awesome show!
Excellent venue great show wings could improve but the show I enjoyed
Went to see Donnel Rawlings and laughed until my sides ached! The food choices could have been better, and the menu is in need, but the comedy is definitely top notch!
They have stepped it up adding the Safari club below! Ive always had a good time and laughed all night. Out of the dozen or so times Ive been I think theres only been a few comedians I didnt think were funny but they always have multiple so you always get at least 1 that makes you laugh all night. The drinks and food are good. I really love the fact you can pregame or after party in the club and the club is cool, like a safari themed Dave and Busters full of games.
Remodeled and remarkable! Nice set up, everything looks exquisite! All comics appearing had something positive to say about the new look and much love to Alabama and George Willborn, killing it!
Okay. Comedy was great. Drinks couldve been better
I love the comedians Ive seen here! The seating is tight, but bearable when constantly laughing
Always good comedy. It would be nice if they did an update/upgrade! They also need some better working air conditioner. But I always have a good time when I go. I have been 3-4 times. Nice and friendly staff.
Nice upgrade but happy with buying food and still have to buy two drinks feel if you buy food and drink should count as spending same as two drinks but most comedy is good
They have really improved. I had a great time and the food was good
Had a great time!! Tickets were super reasonable.
Damon was Awesome! We laughed so much. All the comedians were great!
Fantastic show. Definitely get your money worth every time here. Amazing show.
Im visiting from Michigan and had a Great time seeing Bill Belamy! What a way to bring in the New Year!
I came here to see Tommy Davidson. He was HILARIOUS!! I enjoyed the host, Alabama. He was very funny & interested with the audience nicely. The opening act was well chosen & definitely got us ready for the main act! The food was good & the drinks were strong. There is a 2 drink minimum per person.I had a great experience & I look forward coming here again!!
Bengi funny. Food was cool. Im definitely coming back.
Went for a comedy shows...please has a two drink minimum. You cant leave without an exit ticket and if you leave during the show you have to leave your ID. I feel like they put too many people in close proximity to each other. Out dated facility but the food and drinks were good.
Alabama is amazing! Ms. Woo woo is really working on her craft. There is a 2 drink minimum and I suggest only getting the bottomless soda/water because the food and alcoholic drinks are okay but expensive. There is plenty of parking and the room is very spacious.
Good show. Service not up to par.
