I recently went to Motor House to view The Evil Dead Musical. The venue was great; I liked all the art on the wall, they had a bar, and the staff was amazing/friendly. The stage and seating area was small but intimate, which I really enjoyed. You could see the stage and actors well; the actors also interacted easily with the crowd because of the nice set up. I also appreciated that the bathroom was well kept. I would definitely come back to this venue.

A great place for arts and events! The staff and companies that utilize this venue are top-notch and friendly, always willing to help when needed. The facilities are pristine with lots of events going on at any given time. Parking can be a bit tricky, so youll want to do your research before attending an event. There is a huge pay-to-park lot behind The Motorhouse, but youll have to download an app before-hand and they DO check regularly (every hour or so) to be sure everyone is paid up. If you arent they will boot your car, so, beware! There is some street parking, but its hot real estate! Overall, this is a great place with great people and will definitely be returning for more events in the future.

First time being here. Loved it. Awesome Art Work from Baltimore City Students. Great to see a place that allowed Baltimore City Students show their talent whether it was original or photocopied. The alley itself is welcoming with the Graffiti.

This is house music all night long. If you want to get your dance on this is the place to be. No seating just all dance floor. I know I had a blast. Got my dance on. Have to go there again when I want to get my dance on.

I didnt get to see the entire venue but what I did see was nicely decorateand and inviting.

Went to.watch a gf perform at a comedy venue being held there. Nice bar/lounge area. Bartender was cool. Comedy seating space sits about 20 people...I enjoyed the show.

I really like the way their blackbox is situated. Same level as the actors, and they were all commendable. I will be returning

Visited in Jan. as Arts Every Day displayed 10x10 point of views with Baltimores Cease Fire being the theme. The 1st floor layout has a coffee shop on the North Ave side with a decent sized lobby. Theres another sizable room to the rightt and up a few stairs.The inside looks like a small theatre; all black with a small stage in the front. It is a nice space for a smaill reception.The back exit has a back alley that has been spray painted by various city artists (dont quote me on that). This makes sense as its near MICA.Parking is in the pay by space lot behind the building, once you exit the alley.I didnt stay at the event a long time, but enjoyed the space.Ps. There is office space upstairs.

Motor House publicized new drink specials & the drinks I received were sub-par! The drinks were not priced as advertised, I was overcharged! Theres no food to pair with...There was a crying baby in the bar, A BABY! I think the baby belonged to a young girl on staff. The staff looked gnarly and it made me question the cleanliness of the bar itself. Such a beautiful exterior and interior but the bar staff doesnt match at all. I keep trying to go there but I am always disappointed.

This is a great space. The arts are in the air. The theatre space is really nice with excellent acoustics. The drinks were excellent. I also saw Half Baked...a reading. Hilarious

Great space to meet, greet, peruse and enjoy very talented local artists and their work. Its also nestled inside Graffiti Alley which is mind blowing all by itself.

The atmosphere is very cozy. From the looks of it, it could be a nice place to study when they’re not having a new showroom experience. There’s a lot of local art displayed that you can view and an area to order and eat food. I was there for a speaker session that took place in the showroom. I’m not sure if the food was catered from an outside company or it came from The Motor House kitchen by it was very good! They offer good vegetarian options as well.

I’ve only been to this venue once so far, but I am wanting to come back! It’s situated right next to graffiti alley, and also has office spaces above for various arts organizations. There is a cafe/bar at the front, and a performance space behind. I attended the BSO new music festival here and had a great time! I’m not sure if it’s always the case, but for that performance there was no seating, just standing room, which is something to keep in mind.

This little hidden gem is awesome! I will definitely be back!!! And of course the nativity is one of my fav shows

I went to an private event at the Motor House on 07/13/19, worst experience of a lifetime. Bar personnel terribly understaffed and inexperience. Spend (30) plus minutes at the bar awaiting service. After I gained the attention of the bar keep I was told they did not have the standard vodka absolute and was offered Titos as a substitute. The bar keep left again, 15 mins later came back and said we are out of Titos and could not offer anything else just gave me the deer in the headlight look. I then observed the bar and noticed they did not have much to offer period. I am not sure if the bar was the responsibility of Motor House or the host The Glow of LUV 50th Bday Celebration for Marc Luv House but in terms of business this was a epic failure and embarrassment to all that supported this event and event space. If this was the responsibility of the event planner Motor House needs to put out a clear disclaimer when they are not responsible for the bar and bar staff because impression last forever and I do care who you bring through this establishment for what cause I will never step foot in this subpar event hall again. ONLY IN BALTIMORE CAN YOU FIND EVENT SPACES THAT OPERATE LIKE SPEAKEASY

This is a really nice creative space with a bar and event area. We went for a small, intimate concert and were not disappointed. The drinks were reasonably priced, as well.

The Showroom was awesome!!! Delicious food, I took the waiters recommendation, great beer, and the manager Maryanne was very hospitable. The music was great and not overpowering and the decor was very appropriate for a lounge cafe. Ill definitely be stopping here in the future.

Great spot for fancy cocktails, upscale bar food, and good people. Thursday nights theres a great dj. Event I attended was last leg of Hip Hop Bar crawl it was packed music in two rooms water station available and flow between spaces was perfect.

I strongly recommend The Motorhouse. I have had the privilege of working with them on more than one occasion and Im doing another event with them in the Springtime. Professional,Reliable and Flexible in what they do this is a wonderful place for Artists looking for a creative space to match their work. And for families and the community to come and embrace the beautiful and inspiring aspects of Baltimore. If you havent been go to Motorhouse!

Chill venue for small artistic hangouts and for other nonprofit organizations, located in the center of downtown art district of Baltimore.

Comedy is for laughing. My friend laughed because one joke just kept him laughing. It rolled into a night of total laughter and they complained about him laughing too much. They get you drunk and then criticize when you really enjoy yourself.

Very elegant interior and the employees are outspoken!

Its in s crappy neighborhood with open drug market and heroin addicts. Once u r in there it appears decent. Its just uncomfortable going from car to location due to the dealers trying to make sales and the saddening sight of addictions.
