Delicious, delicious and did I mention delicious!?! My husband and I couldnt decide between the Spinach & Artichoke and the Mushroom & Arugula, so we did what any sane people would do, we ordered both! Not disappointed in any way, shape or form with our decision! This is now our #1 spot to go to for wood-fired pizza! We loved the staff top, Shay, especially! She was super friendly & not over-the-top attentive but just perfect!
Very good small pizzas. The flavor is worth the price. I dont know why I waited so long to try it.
My and my boyfriends favorite pizza in Baltimore! Every time we have pizza somewhere else we always find ourselves saying, This is really good...but its no Arthouse. My favorite is the wild mushroom and arugula, but Im a veggie pizza kind of gal. My boyfriend is more of a meat-za kind of guys, and his favorite is the meatball pizza. W also love their fire-roasted cauliflower and order it frequently. So good!
This spot is we’re it’s at in Hampden. 5 minutes didn’t go by with out the waiter making us feel comfortable. The environment overall was relaxed and the service was prompt. The chef even gave us a cheese tray with our wine. Highly recommended. As well as family friendly.
Good and drinks are good. Good atmosphere
Great staff. Best pizza in Baltimore.
Nice little sports. Very cozy inside. Bartender was nice and attentive. The food selection could be expanded as well as the alcohol selection, but a good vibe for my first visit
1 of 2 groups in there. Service was iffy. Think the bartender was high. Fine pizza and the upstairs lounge area is neat.
I had a group of seven come here on a Sunday night and we were seated quickly. There were long wait times for food after ordering, and the pizza was good, but over priced. $16 for a thin crust medium sized pizza and $11 for a martini, so double check the menu before you come. Bathroom is down a long hallway past the kitchen on your left.
Such a fantastic experience. Great drinks, friendly staff, amazing food, wonderful ambiance. Will be back! thanks for a fun night out!
This place was amazing. Thing 1: blueberry chili pizza, awesome. Thing 2: go through the back & upstairs to play pool.
Really good Pizza. Strange but cool upper level which can be rented out
Why did we wait so long to try this place? Great pizza. The topping are different and done very well. The crust is lovely. We started with the roasted cauliflower and it was amazing. We then shared the arugula, caramelized onion and mushroom pizza. Great beer, cocktail and wine selection. Service was also very good.
Always a great time at The Best Pizza Joint in Hampden. The Big Mac on the left, super nostalgic with their own unique take on a classic. On the right is one of their newer menu items The Pickle Pizza, incredibly original with a tangy pickle flavor. To drink I had (also pictured) the Savage Nectar, and my wife had a classic daiquiri, both were delicious.
Really nice people and my favorite pizza in Baltimore
Great pizza, cool vibes
The food is top notch, but the staff really goes above and beyond. Amazing, amazing cocktails.
Best pizza Ive had in a long time. Great beer and drink menu, really good happy hour specials. Highly recommended.
Everyone is so nice. Cocktails are good too
Never ceases to impress: I called in with some last minute birthday plans, and the staff were warm and perfectly accommodating to my numerous guests. The food is always amazing and this will remain my go to spot for the best pizza in baltimore, drinks, and a great time - cheers!
Some very interesting, phenomenal pizza. We got the French onion and the BBQ pork belly pizzas off the regular menu and the Greek Freak from the special menu. All 3 were delicious and Id order them again.
Fantastic pizza! Interesting mix of flavors but everything worked really well. Crust was a little salty, which added a lot to the pizzas we ordered. Really enjoyed our experience and we will be back!
Didnt know about this place. Found it after our groups original plan was scuttled. Glad we found it. Food was great, vegan options for those who wanted that, service was attentive but not overbearing. We will definitely be going back
Tasty & afordable food & drink, good music you dont have to shout over, ever changing modern art on display and a large second floor that more than doubles the first floor space.
Pizza and deviled eggs were great.
The upstairs is really fun with a pool table and big windows
One of Baltimores best kept secrets: great pizzas and beers, free pool and darts upstairs
Ive had every vegetarian flavor and all were excellent. My favorite is blueberry and brie. Rarely a wait here when other places on 36th street are booked up.
Good pizza. Solid service. Bartender makes an excellent Manhattan.
The Arthouse quickly became my favorite spot when I moved to Baltimore 1 year ago. Since then I try to make it there at least once a week! The staff is absolutely great, the atmosphere as well. The food... Ive never had anything I did not like. The menu rotates to keep things fresh and while Im sad to say goodbye to some favorites I am always happy to welcome their new creations. Do not pass over this hot spot!
The pizza and service is great. Also dont miss the Cabernet.
Delicious pizza, but the most mind numbingly boring ambiance a shoebox could have. Hey look another brick wall and no music. Zzzzz
The arthouse is the best restaurant on 36th Street they have the best pizza that I have had in a long time and their Lounge is amazing
Terrible service took my kids here after the pool the waiter we had should be FIRED NEVER have I been treated like that. Waited forever for service. Completely ignored. Was the only people of color there dont know if that had anything to do with it but the waiter was so rude to my spouse and children when we didnt tip had the audacity to follow us out the restaurant and question us . Cursed in front of our kids told us not to come back, and believe me I will never. I encourage no one to patron here. The place needs a manager, I would of fired him on the spot. Disgusting behavior.
Great custom cocktails and fun staff! Try the Coltrane pizza, delicious! I dont normally eat thin crust, but I am now a fan!
They serve good quality pizzas that you would love to have every time.
The pizzas were very good and contained multitudes of toppings you wouldnt find at any other chain pizza places, loved the ambiance that was present, would highly recommend this place.
Excellent thin crust pizza from a brick wood-fired oven. Service was prompt and responsive. We tried the deviled eggs and several pizzas including the Margherita, Fennel Countdown, Scooch, and Spicy Blueberry & Brie. Everything is delicious. We will definitely be back.
When I lived down the road this was always the go-to date night spot for my partner and I. Fun menu that changes frequently. Decent draft list and a one or two really affordable drinks. Cozy atmosphere. And, of course, great rotating local art on the walls.
Good place for good pizzas!
This is the best pizza in Hampden. Great service, welcoming, casual atmosphere, awesome upstairs lounge. What more could anyone ask for?
Joan the owner is fantastic very helpful. I had basically a garlic White pizza it was fantastic. It was a special for that day.
Great pizza. Good vibe. OK service. Kinda pricey. Really good date place. Recommend.
Amazing place. The calamari confit were out of this planet.Great service, good pizza
Sooo hot. The food and service was great but it was sweaty hot.
Great food, great wine, and great company!
Fun, delicious, friendly, oh and pizza! The pizza crust is unique. Unique as in it is the only one in Baltimore. Upstairs has a pool table and darts with a warm stove keeping the place cozy and welcoming.
Theyve implemented great cocktails, but the crowning achievement is the blueberry brie pizza. Oh my goodness, that blend of flavors is truly luxurious. I come here a few times a month with my husband, wonderful place!
Love the pizza. Low key spot in Hampden.
Tasteful pizza. You need to remind them to not burn the pizza if you want a fantastic pizza.
Great atmosphere, awesome pizzas and the BEST part, wonderful venue for art displays!
I’ve gone to Arthouse a number of times and have generally just been underwhelmed by their pizza, but tonight’s pizza was actually notably terrible. I called in a pizza and they said they wouldn’t be able to put the order in until later and gave me a time. I arrived ten minutes after they said they’d put it in, and somehow the pizza was both cold and burnt. The crust was over salted to a point where it was almost painful to eat. $20 wasted for a medium sized artisan pizza that tasted like salty charcoal. Two stars only because their staff has generally been friendly and their bartenders make good drinks. I will definitely not be ordering food from them again, though.
Lovely atmosphere, but still casual enough to be comfortable. Great food, pretty art, funny bartender. XD I had the roasted cauliflower with romesco sauce, feta, and almonds small plate. It was amazing. And I tried Monument Rye 51 IPA, most tolerable beer Ive ever had. (Not a beer person, but I could probably drink a whole glass of that one.)
Unique space. Amazing energy. Pizza is delicious!
Super yummy pizza and nice list of wines by the glass. Good place for a dinner with friends or after work happy hour.
Pizza was excellent but they ran out of glasses so I couldnt get the draft beer I wanted.
The best pizzeria restaurant in Baltimore.
Worth the stop amid so many awesome places. We stop every time we come to town.
Interesting tasty pizza AND good beer, AND pool? What more could you ask for?
Pizza was delicious...will come back here for sure
I am an 11 year old boy who is as picky as they get. The pizza here is amazing. We ordered 4 pizzas. After the 1st one, we got addicted to the pizza. It is unbelievable. This restaurant is definitely on my top 5 pizza places.
Wanted pizza, this was not pizza 16 dollars for a tiny thin salty piece of bread with cheese. Waited 40 minutes for delivery. Little Ceasars pizza is bigger and better then whatever this was not ordering again.
Great pizza great pizza great comedy night
Great decor. Expensive food and drink. Pizzas delicious
Unique pizzas and mixed drinks are awesome! Upstairs room is a whole lot of fun.
Decent pizza and decent drinks, nothing mind blowing, but a good atmosphere
French onion pizza is crazy good!
Great service. Nice cozy place
Extremely good pizza and calamari
Ordered take out and when I got it home the pizza was both cold and burnt. They completely oversalted it, my guess was to hide the burnt flavor. Go anywhere else
My good friend had her birthday party there today, Tuesday. upstairs. The food, pizza, cauliflower apps and salads were so good. A large assortment of pizza that was soooo good. I would definately recommend this wonderful place in Hampden!!!
I really liked the mushroom pizza I got, also good vibe for dinner with friends
This place always nails it. The pizza is always on and the crust is better than any crust anywhere.
Delicious pizza, great cocktails, nice decor and friendly staff.
Delicious pizza, great beer and cocktails, cool vibe
I enjoyed a great cider and a pizza pie, here. I look forward to returning asap.
Cute place. Interesting drinks. Not good pizza to me. Nice event space upstairs.
Pizza was okay, definitely not worth the price. Nice beer, the place looks nice and is clean. Service was excellent.
Great cocktails and staff!!! Try the Coltrane, so delicious!
Good was great, but service was very slow cause the have only 1 oven, I would. It be going back
Very good pizza and a definite artsy setting
This place offers the best pizzas in city! You can’t afford to miss this place!
By far my favorite place in Hampden. Great service and good food. Great wine prices.
Great pizza - try the potato, sausage, and kale pizza with the dill dipping sauce. It sounds odd and tastes delicious. I liked the big brick oven and open kitchen in the back of the restaurant. Theres a bar in there is it can get a little loud. The pizza is a little on the expensive side but the cheap cans of Natty Boh even it out.
Best pizza Ive had in Bmore. Good beer on tap, though a little pricey. Service can be slow if theyre busy due to limited oven space, but the pizza is well worth the wait.
So much fun! Great food and choice. Also loved the bar games
Service was on point and genuine, food delivered hot and fresh and didnt disappoint, and the cocktails were well thought out and skillfully constructed.
Great pizza and good beer list.
Nice atmosphere, friendly and accommodating staff. Pizza was good, though a bit overpriced.
Shout out to Nick. Super solid, awesome bartender.
Great speciality pizza and good drinks. Located in fun walking around area.
Awesome food and drinks. Great atmosphere
Great pizza and beer!
Check out the loft. What a great space.
Wonderful pizza place with a great beer selection, an absolutely fantastic experience.
