I live nearby and I really enjoy this place. Always, with no exception my kids leave with a blast. Over the last few years for the most part the stuff have been nice and friendly. Good job management, please keep it up.
This is an awesome water park. Slides, lazy river with tubes, kids area - a kids playground with slides, whirlpool that leads out into a 0 entry beach type pool. The facility is clean and the lifeguards are everywhere! The concession stand has awesome food and the prices are reasonable. The place is huge so even on a busy day it doesnt get too crowded.
The water park was fun and kid friendly but the cafe the food was horrible. You can definitely tell the food had been sitting out. You would figure them not being so busy, they would make it fresh. Super disappointed.
North Pointe is a great summer destination with options for lap swimming, a lazy river and a kids play pool. My kids have taken swim lessons here the last couple summers and the staff has been very good and helpful. A pass is a little pricey, especially if you are not a Ballwin resident, but there are options for single day entrance as well.
Great pool to spend a day with the kids. 8 dollars per person for non residents. Two good waterslides, an area for toddlers, and a good playground for kids. The beach pool is large and has an attached whirlpool! There is a large pool with a deep end, swimming lanes, a diving board, plus a rock wall and rope swing. The lazy river is long as it encircles the whole park. Concessions are good and reasonably priced. Lots of seating around pools and the concession area.
Very nice facility. We are fortunate to have 5 different parks in our city. One of America’s Best Cities in Which to Live, as well as voted One of America’s Safest Cities in Which to Live.
The reason why Im giving 1 star to North pointe Aquatic Center because they did not let me swim with my life jacket the reason why I need to wear life jacket because I dont no how to swim I was practicing swimming in 5 feet than they told me you cant wear life jacket inside the pool.
It wouldve been 5 stars but but the slides in the kiddie pool was closed off, but the slide for big kids and adults was open. Thats stupid and makes no sense.
I love coming here! It is so much fun! Especially when Im with a friend. Even when Im not, and I am alone, there is so much stuff to do and it is all very fun. Like theyre diving boards and water slides? So fun! And their Whirlpool is super fun too. And they have a wide variety of snacks and food to choose from, and lots of drinks and ice cream to keep you cool during a hot summer day. Lazy river is very long and very relaxing, which is enjoyable if you just want to relax after doing a lot of the other stuff at the park. All of it is still very fun and very nice
It soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much funnnnnnn
Amazing for all ages!!! Kiddy pool is max 12 inches deep. There is also a shaded splash pad! Huge lazy river, water slide, hurricane pool for play. Lap pool as well!
I went with my two children, ages 6 and 4, and we had so much fun! The water was a little cold, but weve had unseasonably cool weather and it was raining earlier in the day. The kids club house swim area is well staffed with lifeguards and there is ample seating for parents around the pool. Water bottles are allowed, but its asked that guests do not bring in their own food. There was a food stand attached to the main pool offices, but I did not stop in to check it out. We had a great time and will definitely be back!
Really nice, but SO over crowded every time Ive been there. Also, my child got a cut and they didnt have a first aid kit with band aids apparently...?
Very nice place
Good pool to take the family. Multiple options based on age and swimming skills. Staff there is often helpful.
Me and my family went to the Ballwin water park last Saturday. It was our first time there! I love this water park! I like the lazy river and the waterslides! They were fun! It was really crowded last Saturday. We didnt have their foods there though. Well come back soon on the weekends.
This place is incredible! Its like a mini water park smack dab in the center of town. Swim, slide, dive, play, or float around the lazy river. Reasonable price, hasnt been to crowded when weve gone and the staff is attentive and helpful (including the life guards). Restrooms/changing rooms are nice, spacious, and private. Lockers available also; just need to bring your own locks.
Very clean pool and well maintained. Staff is very friendly. Great family fun!
A nice facility, open to the public. However they oversell day passes causing over crowding.
Awesome but SOOOO crowded. Kinda wish theyd raise the nonresident prices a bit to cut down on the amount of outsiders they get.
Ill give it 4 stars overall actually the pool area was excellent but we decided to eat lunch there. Not a good idea. Ordered two cheese burgers and two fries. All of it was cold. The whole stand was being run by young high schoolers. Not an adult around. Learned a lesson
Great place! I luv all the different things available for all ages.
Overall, the North Pointe Aquatic Center is a great place to swim. The center does have two problems that do not seem to be going away and both have to do with safety. First, all of the life vests for children up to 50 lbs are broken with even the staff acknowledging that this problem has been going on for a while. Second, adults cannot walk behind children in the lazy river. Due to not having a life vest available, I wanted to walk behind my son, pushing to tube along for him, but was told this was not allowed by one of the lifeguards on duty, I had to be inside the tube as well. I asked her what was the reason and she said it was just policy. I asked what if my son fell in. She said I could jump in and get him. Walking behind lets me catch him if he starts to fall in. I asked one of the managers and he notified me that the lifeguards would get my son if I couldnt get to my son in time. Ive been able to walk along with him in the past with no comments from anyone so the inconsistent safety rules are a safety problem.
The water was GOOD therapy and fun with grankids. Water lazy river too. Thanks
Great facility. They need to fix the water falls on lazy river so you do not have to get wet if you do not want to. Bathrooms could use a little bleach. They appear clean but dont smell the greatest.
A great pool. Great park. Long lazy river.
Fantastic place for families to hang out. The lazy River and water slides are fun. Adults can have fun equally. I just didnt like the crowded pool.
Great family place! Its very large, plenty of staff/Life Guards!! Great slides!! The best part is even if your not a resident its only $8.00 per person!
They oversell day passes to non residents... Causing overcrowding problems.. its a nice pool.. recent upgrades are nice.. but the locker and restrooms are a nightmare... So gross... Never get cleaned.. reek of urine
Love the lazy River. Residents only. You have to have proof other than your I.D that youre a resident.
Very nice place pretty layed back place
Kids LOVE it! Well-trained staff.
Pools are nice. Lifeguards pay attention. Food tastes good. Perfect fit for family
Good for all ages. Food is good and reasonable. Nice and clean and very affordable!
Best lazy river without going to a waterpark. So much to do here for all ages!
We come several times a summer. 3 stars because weve had the pool shut down on us a couple times and also, many of the young lifeguards dont pay much attention. Still, we will continue to visit.
I enjoyed my time here. Water slides, lazy river, rope swings, diving boards, lanes for laps, pretty good food too. The lazy river water had a decent amount of debris in it.
So big. Many chairs and different pool options.
I called ahead to make sure I could at least use my monofin, if not a full tail, and was told yes, as long as it could be kicked off, and nothing bound the legs. Got here, and was told it was not allowed. The lifeguards are WAY strict, with ridiculous rules. Its also really dirty. I am here with my cousins, or I would have left. Not a good facility. But hey. Water and friends.
The lazy river is awesome
The best public pool in Ballwin
Love it its a friendly family fun safe place to go to swim fun for all ages and great prices too.
Really fun. Little pricey for a family of 4 and for what you get. But youll have fun.
So much for the kids to do at this pool they can play for hours.
The lives the swimming was amazing and the life guards were so friendly
Amazing water park with plenty of activities for children of all ages and adults.
Best pool in West county
Newly renovated in 2018. Great family destination.
My dog Iris had a great time.
Its a ok place to bring your family or yourself for a nice swim on a hot or warm day, only problem is that its too crowded.
This is the best water park there is out there. With the bucket that dumps down on you! This is perfect!
Amazing plaza. Bigger than I thought. Many things to do inside much cheaper than many other places with lesser things to do .
This was my first time taking my dog to this pool. She enjoyed the lazy river and playing in the water by herself.
Good price for swimming all day. And you dont need to be a resident
Our 3 boys live the place. Plenty to do.
Great place for swimming
Birthday party was fabulous. Old and young enjoyed the day in the sun.
I definitely will not be back! We had a birthday party there for a 9 year old and the day was ruined by some disrespectful teenagers who cussed us out and the incident was over appx 15 mins later an adult in this group came back over to us and started yelling at us again cussing and screaming, of course we defended ourselves and went to the manager. After speaking with him he told us he would make them leave in 15 mins, which never happened. Long story short it turned into a big mess cops were called and we ended up leaving. Ruining our day. I would never recommend this place to anyone!!!!
I would not recommend this pool to families with children on the autism spectrum, its very large and very overwhelming. More importantly, the staff does nothing to accommodate children with special needs. None of these accommodations would have endangered my child or any other child in any way, they were just inflexible. 2 meltdowns later we left. If you have neuro-typical kids its awesome. Also, no outside food is allowed in due to health regulations so if your child has food allergies be sure to eat beforehand or you have to leave the premises and have a picnic.
Great place. Fun for toddlers, teens and adults. If you live in Ballwin, do yourself a favor and get the resident card.
Love the place! slides, lazy river, kids area.Fun for the whole family.
Would have been a five....but after an hour and half close to two hours after my three year old have been sliding down the kids slide, and playing and having a blast....yet another rotation of lifeguards came threw and my child my three year old came screaming and crying mommy mommy....the lifeguard decided instead of talking to a parent and not my child to tell her she cant slide down her favorite slide shes been sliding on all day with her life proof on...(the one that goes around child and hands go threw floaties) that she can no longer slide down the slide with her life proof on...ummmm excuse me while my child has had several of the lifeguards out here conversations with the parents and having a blast no one ever said anything...no goggles is what was told to some kids whom was coming down due to them no being able to see...so now I requested to speak with a supervisor another young child comes over whom is in charged (where are all the adults) place feels like its ran by all teenagers, couldnt get an adult and this child again whom says shes in charge tells me that the lifeguards arent consistent in what happen to today but my child cant not go down slide and end up in a foot of water whom cnt swim without one, want me to let the inconsistencies of the lifeguards protect my child if she goes down the slide(which Id made for them) without a life proof or another child whom has a life vest....Where are the signs to say that? And why would she talk to a child telling them something like that without taking to a parent first...really upset might drop this to a two ratings if it hasnt been for the good customer service the kids had at the concession stand...and before anyone says she didnt knw where her parent was, dnt because I was talking and playing right by her when lifeguards did the exchange and my child said hi to her and I said come on lets get off the blue mat (at the end of the slide) that a lifeguard been standing the whole entire time...
Great place for the whole family. Go there all the time!
Kids loved the slide adults liked the lazy pool with the toddlers. That lazy pool is total therapy for me that and the sun!
Our favorite place on the pool life tour!
The service was horrible, and people who worked at the snack shack were very impolite and rude. They were not very understanding when the ice cream they had just given me had already been melted and crushed, although they did exchange it, they tossed the exchange through the window instead of handing it over. The Lifeguards rarely paid attention to safety regulations and rarely looked up from their phones. I do not recommend it. Especially for younger children.
Great facility in a great community!
Fun! Awesome! Wish they had a wave pool though.
Lots of options for everone to enjoy
