The Pointe is a really awesome health club/gym for the Ballwin community. It offers something for everyone when it comes to health and fitness, which sounds cliché, but it is true. There are teens who come solely to play basketball; there are families with their kids who come for the pool; there are walking track people, cardio people, and weights people. What everyone shares is a basic commitment to wellbeing, whatever that needs to look like for the individual. The age range is really cool to see, and one gets the sense that the people all around them are a collective reflection of the community.The staff members at the front desk are always kind and helpful. The facilities were clean prior to and throughout the pandemic, and I imagine the pandemic will set the standard very high for years to come. The prices are very reasonable and competitive if one is a Ballwin resident, but otherwise, it might be worth looking elsewhere. My wife and I have never really been gym people, but the Pointe has provided us a really positive, well-rounded experience.

They are nice people except for one life guard

Worked out here for 6+ years and during the pandemic, operating hours are a joke - its hardly ever open and membership rates are absolutely out of control. 800+ for a subpar exercising experience when any local gym which is open to 11pm every day is maybe 200 a year. It wasnt until switching when I realized how much of a rip-off it was.

Love this place. Great equipment and staff. Top notch service and the place is spotless.

Our kids love this place! The indoor pool is amazing and the gym area is great for the adults.

Go here 4days a week for water aerobics and silver sneakers exercise class.

This is one of my favorite gyms in the area. Im so happy they reopened after the fire! The new design and layout is much more flattering and functional than it was previously.

Swim lessons... Watching more than 9 minutes straight of sitting on the edge of the pool in the middle of a 30 minute class which is advertised as 45 minutes. The pointe is a good center, the swim lessons not so much

Great place to host birthday parties have been here a couple of times for my fiancé’s family’s children staff is always friendly and helpful. Good size venues for parties. Made a great place to have a pool party kids had a blast. Workers came in several times to see if we needed anything. And when we had her sisters birthday party there they even let us hang a huge banner on the front of the building

THIS ESTABLISHMENT HAS ALL THE WORKOUT EQUIPMENT YOU MAY WANT OR NEED. HOWEVER, THEY DONT WANT TO SPEND THE MONEY TO HIRE A LIFEGUARD TO UTILIZE THE POOL AREA DURING THE DAY! THIS AREA OF THE BUILDING IS LOCKED UP! WHY HAVE A MEMBERSHIP WHEN YOU CANT USE (ALL) THE FACILITIES? ITS A WIN WIN SITUATION ON THEIR PART TO CLOSE THE POOL AREA BECAUSE; (1.)THEY SAVE MONEY FOR THE TIME THE POOL AREA IS CLOSED (MOST MORNINGS, & AFTERNOONS,) BECAUSE THEY DONT HAVE TO PAY A LIFE GUARD! (2.)ALSO, FACTOR IN THE MONEY THEY SAVE FOR POOL CHEMICALS! SAD

Is there supposed to be green coming from the filters? it tasted good anyway. but i felt sick afterward and apparently it cause appendicitis, and my wife got colon cancer, but the lazy river was fun!an amazing experience!!!

I always enjoy the activities in this clean and sell run place. Many people contact to have their events held here. Lots of covenient parking too and easy to find.

We have my sons basketball practice here and it very nice. I can not really comment on the rest of the facility as we are in the gym the entire time. The staff are very kind from the little interaction we have experience. I can easily see this place being a 5 out of 5. The place is always busy and everyone looks to be having a good time. If we lived closer this would be a place to look at getting membership.

Staff was alittle rude and could not agree on how much Pickleball was for a nonresident. I ended up paying $9 for pickleball on a Saturday night. Thats expressive for a few hours of Pickleball. Most places charge $3-$6 for non residents or just a flat rate. Level of play varies.

Kids swim lessons are amazing!!! Better prices on classes than the Y. Very well maintained facility. Very friendly employees.

Set up to be accessible for anyone wanting to visit. They have a swimming pool as well. They have plenty of workout equipment as well as a track and basketball court.

Good but ridiculous! Closed the pool and cancelled swimming classes because of bad weather. Its an INDOOR pool.

I use to like it a lot. But now you cant even go in to watch your kid swim without buying a pass!! I just sit at the small tables where people watch their little ones... but now I have to pay $10 to look at him?? Redic.

This is the best place to workout. Fun staff is very helpful. Recommend it to all Ballwin residents.

Great indoor pool!

My friend booked her son’s 1st birthday party here last week. She was told she could come an hour before her rental time to decorate. More than one person gave her permission to do this. And this isn’t the first time she’s asked. Her and her family always book their parties here. Come day of the birthday party, she walks in and is basically yelled at by the Manager, Gayle Junge, in front of everyone there. So unprofessional. She could have politely said no, we are not allowed to do that. There’s no need to be disrespectful and bring a girl to tears. They ended up paying for the extra hour to decorate even though the room was not being used; and tables and chairs were ready for her son’s birthday. Needless to say, we will not be booking any more future parties at the Pointe.

Great, clean facility with helpful staff. Great indoor and outdoor tracks. The indoor and outdoor pools are amazing, basically small water parks. Great place to bring your kids.

Great rec center with an indoor pool, indoor track, basketball courts, meeting/activity rooms and plenty of workout equipment. The kids area in the pool is especially impressive... My three year old loves it!

Awesome place for really anyone. Affordable and upscale. Highly recommend, especially if you live nearby. Also a good place to get involved with the community and meet new people.

Ive been a member for three years and have no complaints its clean, the team is friendly. I have no complaints and would certainly recommend it to anybody and have done so.

It is a really nice town workout spot. It is priced well, has everything you need for a great workout, and is clean. The pool is outstanding. The staff are helpful.

Its a fun play area for kids to spend time at. Shelter and covered benches provide ample seating places for parents.

We booked a birthday party here. Paid for it in full and had to cancel a week and a half out. After 4 phone calls and managers telling me that canceling a party was above them and they would call me back, I finally found out it had been canceled without a phone call to me. I asked how my refund would come since I paid with a credit card and even the manager in charge couldnt tell me. I will never book a party there again, completely disappointed at the lack of knowledge.

Poor communication to gym closing for maintenance. I’m a regular that goes 5-6 times a week and had no idea. Their response is, we put some flyers up. - I enjoy the gym it’s my time to go and work on myself. I apologize I don’t read every flyer that is up. Most of them tend to be about events that I’m not interested in. I just don’t think that was a valiant effort especially with all the ways to get in touch with people now a days. A simple, “hello, just a friendly reminder the gym will be closed Thursday and Friday this week have a good workout,” when you walk in would have been awesome customer service with minimal effort. Minimal effort wasn’t achieved.

I usually have a great time when I go to the Pointe. Im up there several days per week.Recently, the gym floors have been getting dirtier, especially with dust. My brand new basketball shoes were covered in dirt the first day I wore them there.The basketball hoops need some updating. The rims are pretty bad and they also need some new nets.I will continue to use the Pointe. I just hope staff will listen to concerns in the gym.

Ive been working out at the pointe pretty much my entire life but i have to say im dissapointed with the size of the free weight area, at the moment there is still only ONE bench press and ONE squat rack. The smith machine is unable to be used for God knows how long which only makes the space even smaller to have a good work out. Are we trying to keep up with the times of newer equipment? I feel thats why more people are going to other gyms because the pointe is lacking in some areas and equipment.

Modern, clean and safe Community center with Gym, heated indoor swimming pool, hot tub, meeting rooms, and more. Parking lot has open view for sky watchers.

Attended a life memorial. The room was quiet even with various activities taking place outside of that room.

This is in regards to their Summer Camp ProgramsThey ALLOW bullying. My child was bullied and they DID NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT OR CARE!UNACCEPTABLE!The Director is VERY unresponsive to complaintsThe Counselors are practically still in puberty, do not know how to handle conflict among the kids.Just remember, do you want someone that is still in HS or practically just out of HS?I WOULD NOT SEND MY CHILD AGAIN!!!!!!

Pool is disgusting. Gym is outdated and smelly. (Yes, I know, its a gym, but I mean its so bad I dont even want to work out) and the summer camp program is unorganized and the councilors do nothing about bullying. If I could give 0 stars I would.
