Best place to walk and to enjoy a picnic it so quiet and tranquil and a peaceful spot to reminiscing of the old days before covid-19

Awesome little hidden/not so hidden trail/park. Play yards designed for older kids looks awesome for adults! American Ninja Warrior style. Trail itself is pretty short but overall very nice.

Park should not even be called Nature Park should be called Desert Park ever since the corrupt city mayor and who ever else had pocketed the $2 million dollars to supposebly fix it up. Instead they just tore down all the bushes and most trees and put a dumb new bridge.

Absolutely beautiful!! Looks rustic, Forest-like. Cobblestone bathroom with definition of wash and basin, etc. (very enlightening), and even a fire place (which is closed off and havent found out how to access it or when it is lit), bbq grill, benches, trails around the park and looks like there could be a hiking trail leading out from here, as well as a(dry) river bed, and appears to have indigenous shrubs/trees. And a small obstacle course in the playground area. I could hear some wild, exotic birds in the trees. Its surrounded by an affluent residential area. Very clean, peaceful, but parking lot is tiny. Not much shade yet as the trees seem young. Overall A+. I WILL be returning!!

It is a good park for anyone. You could walk your dog . There is a little summer program during summer. They give out food every summer. This food is really good

My family and I love coming here its a great place to come to walk and enjoy nature

Took my 5 year and 1 1/2 year and they had lots of fun exploring around and catching bugs. Aside from the play area for kids. You can reserve the gazebo area. The restroom are clean. For the mens dont have a door to use the toilet, its just open. My kids and wife enjoyed it because its different. Usually just people running or riding bikes.

Walnut Creek sure looks different from when I used to come here sum 30 yes ago..the walking trails used to be gravel & the bridge is also alot larger..& now the kids have a playgrounds..these upgrades theyve decided to do sure did an amazing job..

Needs a good cleaning

Its a nature park, so dont expect anything too flashy. Its extremely peaceful and kept up. The gazebo is great for get togethers. Ive been coming here for years and the improvements that have been made have only made the park better. Great place for jogging. If youre planning a get together, you must reserve the gazebo area and Id suggest bringing your own toilet paper for guests. The only improvement that I wish theyd work on is the restrooms.

The park is improving. Closed right now but will open soon, when it opens they will also open the closed off area in the back and add a nature walk. Just watch out for tweakers. Alot of meth heads in this area due to the apartments.

Nice quiet little place. Dont know why putting stationary exercise equipment & rebuilding a wooden deck took a few years but the dog & I are happy its back..... except how local P.D. seems to arrive like clockwork every time we do.... go figure.Still nice though (minus harrassment)

Beautiful surroundings and very well kept. This park is really good at making you forget youre near a freeway and in the middle of a few homes. Its very cozy you could sit on a bench and read a book while you listen to the birds chirp or even have a snack and chat with some friends.

Been loving this place since it first opened. Amazing time with my son chasing him on his power wheel or scooter. The new look is great. Glad they took out all the bushes & trees that over grown in there. It was a fire hazard for a moment, now its beautiful

I grew up in the neighborhood thats surrounds the park, spent so many summers playing, eating, hanging out there. Now my children have theyre own memories of the park... I will always have Walnut Creek Park The Nature Park in a VERY special place in my heart.

Cool place to go for a walk...i live directly behind it. It would be nice to have a little creek running thru it though.

There is a short trail to walk or bike. As well as two different sets of obstacle courses for ages 2 to 5 and 5 to 12 Very clean and enjoyable for a sunny afternoon.

It looks bald now. Dry and repressing. So sad. I left so sad. I thought i was in the desert. Sorry but its true. The death in that park pooped me out.
