My 5 year old daughters progress has been unbelievable in just 4 lessons!! She is able to swim a few strokes on her own and float on her back unaided. Im very impressed. My 3 year old son also loves going for his lessons!!

Great teachers. At $80 A month for a 30 min session once a week sounds expensive to me but then I think I can replace the money but not my kids

Love the teachers/coaches, they have really helped my kids improve their swimming abilities. The classes are small and the staff works with your schedule. Weve had only great experiences here.

The best place in town to swim. My daughter loves going there to take swim lessons. They have small class sizes and they are always opening up more classes. It is very inexpensive for the classes. The Swim Academy is owned by Olympic swimmers... so it is great to have the best swim teachers teaching your child. Definitely would recommend them if you are looking for a place to take your child for swim lessons.

I just love this place! It is great for little kids and even for the non-swimmers. Little kids can play with the toys provided. They also sell, suits, snacks, goggles, and much more.

Fantastic trainers, friendly staff, they are really passionate about what they do. The pool is nice and clean, and the restrooms and the changing rooms are also always clean. Im an adult taking lessons and have enjoyed my time here so far and learned a lot in a small amount of time.

Daughter is a beginner swimmer and after 2nd day, there were drastic improvements and no more tears. We signed up for the 2 week class, swim every day for 30 minutes. Amanda is her instructor

The staff was very friendly and helpful on our private party. They have an air conditioned waiting room which is nice specially during the summer months. The kids loved their instructor.

The staff is amazing and very child oriented. We are just beginning swim lessons for our son but he is doing great with the help of Dylan in the starfish class.

I have been fairly satisfied with the BSA for the last couple of years we have had our older boy take lessons. Overall the instructors were good with children and the facility is well maintained. Only small caveat is that the instructor to student ratio isnt consistent. Sometimes you may see four student to one instructor or as low as one to one. This ratio isnt as consistent as one may like. When you are unlucky and have 4 on 1, your child will get about 7 minutes of personal attention out of the 30 min lesson time. When not given personal attention, children will just linger on top of the raised platform in water until their turn. Perhaps there is a better way to manage the ratio.But still we continue to come to BSA because it is probably the best indoor in bakersfield. I recommend BSA.

My kids learned to swim very quickly with the individual attention they received at BSA. Sending them here for swim lessons was a one of the best decisions my wife and I have made.Before BSA I was always worried when we visited friends or relatives with pools.
