Historic site with no historical monument.
Went here for Dust Bowl Days. My grandparents and father lived here back when it was an Okie camp. Im proud of my roots and blessed that they have marked this historical. When I pass through with friends, I always stop by and show them my family roots. Im proud of this small little corner.
This place is a little ways on the way but it is rich in history and culture, and gives you a great idea the lives of the early settlers and immigrants that so Faithfully contributed to the growth Our Lives
Sharon and Suzanne met me out at the camp and gave me a lovely tour layered with first person experiences of the camp. It was a gift of an experience and it is quite clear the foundation to preserve this landmark is genuine and heartfelt. Blessings on your work ladies!
