Great place to play, dont let 3 stars fool you. Augusta is a five star in my mind and pga courses are in the 4 star category. Great layout that is very playable from the whites and challenging from the blues. Natural terrain comes into play on almost every hole and the greens are what youd expect from a country club course along with the amenities.

This place is Beautiful form the moment you step inside. It has great views. I was here for a wedding reception and totally enjoyed it.

Favorite course to play in town. That being said, no way in heck it’s a $70 a round golf course. I love the place but they seriously bumped their heads. This will end up costing you business which is mind boggling. It went semi private because it wasn’t surviving with members only. Now your just driving away the public. It’s already a long drive out there. Good luck

Used practice facilities today. Driving range landing area a little dry, but overall nice range.

Attended a catered baby shower at the Club House. The atmosphere was nice but the food was lacking. Brunch was salad, quiche, and garlic bread. The salad was fine. Quiche serving was VERY small, cold, and not great flavor. Bread was one small slice and while fine warm, once cooled was very tough indicating it was probably heated in the microwave. The presentation was very plain. I know the host paid a pretty penny and we expected more. I gave two stars because the service was very nice.

Great organic hamburger and salads. Good atmosphere and you can sample the many different olive oils they make from the trees to the best bottled virgin olive oils right here in Bakersfield.

08/09/2019 Date night with hubby was hoping to have a nice steak dinner drinks...we got here 6:11 pm we got our burnt appetizer at 6:40 drinks had to flag down waitress..got salad after complaining it was 7 pieces of small lettuce 3 pieces of tomatoes 2 croutons... Been here 1:40 minutes no sign of steaks just a lot of excuses...unacceptable

My brother lives in Rio Bravo Country Club. Its an elite place to live with a golf course, lake to fish and a Club House where you can enjoy fine dining.

If you dont mind the wait, and the drive to the Country club then this is the place for a great lunch. Soups,salads, sandwiches and most anything there is prepared very well. It wont be served in the dining room -so go downstairs to the Club room, enjoy some big screen TV, an great food.

Great staff, great challenge of a golf course. Will go again.

Great Golf Course, very nice greens

This is a great layout that can be played and enjoyed by all levels of golfers. For the best players its a huge test. Great greens.

This place used to be the top notch country club in town. Now it is simply a shell of its former self. But I think it has great potential to become great again. I hope they pull it together and return to its former glory.

Beautiful course and clubhouse. Most of all the people there are so friendly and helpful.

The course is in great shape and easily of the best courses in Bakersfield. The carts run seamlessly, there are great people in the pro shop and it is fairly easy to get a tee time.

This Country Club is thriving! Great Staff, Great Members, Great Events, Great Food, and definitely GREAT DRINKS!Taco Tuesday is every Tuesday and the Chefs Chili Verde is AMAZING!Chef is awesome. THE GOLF COURSE LOOKS & PLAYS GReAT

Best course in Bakersfield. Glad to see it stay open. Stay out of trouble and you should do well. Greens can play fast so make sure you have some finesse in your putting stroke.

Great service and a lovely view. The golf course is in fabulous shape.

Good food. Watched the sunset from the veranda. Quite a few people from the neighboring homes were enjoying wine and each others company. What a fantastic atmosphere.

The golf course needs work

This was my 2nd recent round. Course is in great condition with the exception of the bunkers; very little sand lots of mud. $35 with cart after 10 am. Good food.

This course can be difficult but overall its really fun and well taken care of

My go to grill! Not only do theses guys know how to cook they also bring service to a new level!! Dont see what u want on the menu....ask Luis he can probably make it for u!!!

Really nice for east high formal

Used for a family members wedding. The setting is beautiful and the room was spacious with a nice set up. Unfortunately the staff got multiple details of the food orders wrong and switched the drink offered to the guests without telling the parents, which ended up being much more expensive.

Nice course. I went when they had one day memberships but it is usually private but it is a fantastic course

Great country club to play but they do not water their grass enough so its like playing in a chewed up cow pasture. But the location and cleanliness is great.
