This was my first time playing golf here at Sundale. Its a much older golf course but the groundskeeper has done a good job with the upkeep, and the greens were great. Some water and a couple of traps but overall its a fairly easy course to play. It sits in the middle of a senior community, 65 and older, so its quiet. The houses on the course are really small and definitely from an older generation. The clubhouse is much more modern and probably has been redone. It was a good day for golf and I had a great time. Friendly staff and very helpful.

A lot of positive changes since new management has taken over. I can also feel it in other customers and employees faces and attitudes. Course looks great

The course was in great shape. You can tell the new owners really take pride in this course and are turning in back into the course it use to be. The greens were in great shape and the course overall is in better shape than I have ever seen it. Green fees were fair. Its nice to see the pride in the new ownership. Definitely would recommend this course to anyone.

Course is poorly maintained. Divots on the greens werent fixed. Disappointing semi-private course.

Great staff, nice course.

Nice course. Not great, but still nice and not overly difficult. Lots of trees and some dirt off a couple of fairways but if youre hitting them straight, no worries! Our club does a couple tournaments a year here and the staff are great to deal with. The pro (Dave) is a great guy and very helpful. Carla (Karla?) in the clubhouse is a hoot and always on the ball and the food is pretty good.

Great course, the back 9 was very congested. But other than that very nice.

I really enjoy golfing here. The staff at the club house make you feel like you are a long time friend and are helpful.The course layout is not the most technical except for the 17th hole which will make you want to say a few choice words.Overall, you cant beat being able to play 18 holes for the price. Last I was there, fairway was decent and the greens were smooth. Not bad for 25 bucks.

Great golf course within Bakersfield city limits. Its open to the public after 10:00 A.M. Lots of trees make this course a challenge along with a few holes where water comes into play. Good place to go for a quick round.

Greens are better than l have seen in years, Dave Bolar and the rest of the staff treated me well.

Google maps has Stockdale Country Club marked in green but Sundale Country Country Club is not in green. This bugs me. Come on Google, Sundale is a big 18-hole golf course too. Its open to the public after 10:00 am and offers a lot of people the chance to learn and play golf. Its a great golf course thats been here 50 years! Give it a clickable icon on your maps and mark it green!

Course is in good shape and getting better by the month. Non members can golf after 10:00am. Membership here is the best in town for the $. The Petroleum club restaurant recently took over the dining services at the course. This will add to a excellent Membership experience.

This place is a goat track! To call it a country club is a joke! Ive played cheap munies that are better than this place. Who are they paying for these 4 and 5 star reviews?! Then on top of bad conditioning and super slow greens they send out a couple foursomes then like three twosomes in a row. Pair people up!! The greens are these shapeless round circles! WHAT A JOKE!Never ever will I go back there again
