I have only been to this park twice, and both times my toddler had loads of fun!Theres a nice, large grassy area to kick a ball around or play catch, maybe even throw a frisbee. There are a couple gazebos and a few benches to sit and relax also. Lots of trees so its nice and shady on a hot day. Its usually rather peaceful, even with the Metro passing by.The playground is set up like a pirate ship which is pretty cool. Theres a wheel to steer the ship, port holes to climb through, a slide, things to climb and lots of sand. The monument is really nice. Great homage to veterans who have sacrificed so much. I love that I can show this to my toddler and start teaching him to show appreciation for our vets. The restroom is by the playground and I havent seen it extremely filthy yet; its been fairly tidy any time I have used it. Theres also a water fountain near the restroom.Parking has been easy any time Ive gone there. There is a parking lot and street parking available too.
There is a great library there, the park is nice, but there was a woman that i met yesterday that told me that she was hanging around people who do meth which raises a concern 4 safety 4 the youth and others who attend that park. I guess they were homeless and have issues with substance abuse which i pray that God helps them with their housing situation and drug issues. Overall it is a nice park.
Quaint little park. Very nice when the homeless arent taking over all the benches.
Yeah theres homeless but they dont bother no one. Little park across from the police station and a nice city library. Large field for party games, good for weekends or casual strolls. Just your average park
Police station across the street from the park wont make a call of duty be real and dont be sure to get help as fast as needed, and sincerely yes the homelesses are a bother and make the park insecure place because they mix with gangs for drug consumption. Only one comment the park feels a cool place becauae it has a good maintenance team, because its next to the city hall and because the community is a better life quality standards. So hope some body might care about the disease the homelesses provoke.
Good place to hang out with friends
Relaxing place full of heritage and lovely mountain views .Perfect stop with your kids before or after visiting the big target across the street ...They will enjoy the passing by trains . Also one minute from the Gold line ...
We had a Great time. Very relaxing and peaceful.
I love all the flowers...very pretty
The park is nice but there has been a recent invasion of homeless people coming via the Gold Line. Afraid of letting my kid near the playground or even using the restroom there.

This park is quaint near the Azusa Library where I go often
Azusa has a Big heart for veterans Mexican soldiers I served with were the best of the best. Mucho respect! !! And salute.
Very beautiful place. Lots of history.
Great place to take the kids Pokemon hunting and they have outdoor toys for them also
Nice little park and active veterans hall, hardly a month goes by where you dont see the VA administration motor home there to help vets get help.
Great place to play Pokemon. Just dont mind all the homeless people that live there.
Ill bet most Azusans dont even know theres a Veterans Freedom Park. I didnt.
